Can India win the 2019 World Cup? Can Kohli beat Tendulkar’s records? Can Ganguly become the BCCI President? Can the results of sports events be predicted? Can we know beforehand the winners of the cricket or football world cups, the tennis grand slams or the next IPL? Can we try to better our chances in the future tournaments on the basis of astrology? Greenstone lobo, a modern-day astrologer with a scientific approach to astrology, claims that we can. On the basis of 25 years of experience and extensive research, he has developed a planet methodology to draw people’s horoscopes with astounding accuracy. Based on the study of thousands of birth charts of celebrities and major sports events in the past, greenstone answers some of the burning questions on Indian cricket today, from cricket fans all over. Are you ready to face the complex and interesting future of Indian cricket?
This is an exciting book. I really like the way Mr. Greenstone Lobo predicts. His logic is strange but it has worked again. In fact, I just came across a news that, he predicted certain things before last few world cups [cricket] and even football world cups. His prediction ratio is very good. Anyways, lets get back to the point.
So, his idea is, pick a celebrity who is popular now, note his birth year. He then looks for planet Pluto and Neptune and planet x. Winning captain will have same birth year and planet arrangement in his kundli. Virat is not having born that year. anyways, his prediction is is England may win due to eon Morgan, if not then Aron finch. But he clearly said, India is not gonna win this time before world cup start.
other topics in the book are various other predictions. who is going to excel in future etc. individual players are mentioned there from team India. Who are upcoming stars in cricket etc.
Overall, I like the logic of the book. Its an interesting topic for me. One can read it , in order to get enjoyment of logic [depends on your interest]. But, I like confidence of this author [I mean, one can sell his/her logic very confidently, if one conveys it to people]
I am deliberately writing this review today, as one of the predictions [most important prediction came true].
This book belongs to a genre that I generally do not read- it is on astrological predictions. It caught my attention because it deals with astrological predictions in the field of sports- mainly cricket and football. It deals with predictions on championship winners as well as the career prospects of prominent sports personalities.
Lobo tries hard to give a veneer of scientific respectability to the discipline of Astrology. One can make out that he is very passionate about the subject and sincerely does believe in what he preaches and practices. He does take a lot of pains to put across his points linking future events to the position of celestial bodies. Lobo talks about the Planets X, Y, and Z which he claims has been overlooked by other practitioners in the field of Astrology. Moreover, he also talks about the importance of the planets Uranus, Neptune and Pluto which play a part in determining one’s destiny.
The reason why I picked up this book was that it is topical, what with the ICC World Cup 2019 underway. Lobo has made certain interesting predictions and I should say that he has really stuck his neck out in making these predictions. He claims that he had predicted the outcomes of the 2011 and 2015 Cricket World Cup tournaments correctly, as also the last two T20 tournaments as well. He also talks about the predictions that he had made regarding the last couple of FIFA World Cup tournaments. Now it remains to be seen as to whether his predictions about the ongoing Cricket World Cup is going to be proven right. At this juncture, I do not want to be a spoilsport and reveal his predictions on this count.
The author uses the planetary positions of prominent sports personalities and especially that of the team captains, to arrive at forecasts on the possible winners and losers. He gives a lot of importance on the position of Neptune, Uranus and Pluto as also of the Planets X, Y, and Z in the birth charts of the players to arrive at the conclusions. He also talks about a planetary body called the Chiron. At times, it all sounds all too tacky and confusing. But then, the proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating, and I guess one has to wait for the results and see whether his predictions come true. The writing style does get a bit tedious, probably because all the deductions are based on a limited number of permutations and combinations, or at least that is what I felt. Maybe I am wrong because I do not have any clue about the subject at hand.
There is a section in which the future prospects of most of the young cricketing stars of today have been analyzed in depth. That section too makes interesting reading. One gets the impression that Indian cricket is due to have quite a few sterling players in the future who will make the country proud with their exploits.
An interesting concept that the author puts across is that of karmic balance that a person has in life. What I could understand was that there is only a limited amount of good luck that a person can have in life and that the earlier he or she encashes the luck, the lesser of it he has it for the future. In other words, life does get balanced out- you have both good and bad happening in one’s lifetime and generally, it is said that all the good that happens gets balanced by the hard and tough times that one faces. It seems to be true!!!
Sir Lobo as an astrologer tried to explain future of Indian cricket and cricketers, some has Saturn, some has planet X planet Y etc was awful from a reader's perspective though somehow he managed to engage the readers attention using cricket.
I've read the book in 2020, by now most of predictions are worthless because they've occurred already. But still predictions this book once made, came true for 2019 WCC, and all others like Sourav Ganguly will be the BCCI president, Dhoni's retirement etc.
Now when I know the future of Indian cricket I'll go for betting and make millions 😂😅. Thanks BTW 😁

The reason I read this book was cricket. The facts of astrology that the author shared and connected them to the cricketers were worth noticing. The book keeps the reader engaged all the time. Although the book has more to offer for ardent cricket followers, I think those interested in astrology will also find it interesting.
There were few mistakes at certain parts of the book. I found this read an interesting one. The things he has predicted, I will look forward to seeing if they actually happen.
Very interesting lucid simple analysis of the cricketing world and astrology Greenie is truly a scientific astrologer Read the book and enjoy the predictions
