After enduring the tragic loss of his pregnant fiancée and her daughter, Blyss “Bebe” Blakemore vowed to never replace her with loving another woman. And because of that, his heart rejected the idea of love. Consciously, Bebe embraces a life of singlehood and enjoys the benefits of being a bachelor. No attachments, no risk, no expectations, and no disappointments. However, the universe shifts, stars align, the moon gives a nod, and the sun smiles blessing Bebe’s soul with a glow that persists until it’s hard to ignore. Someone has captured his heart in a grip so tight, sometimes he finds himself checking to see if it’s still beating when she’s not around. Surrounded by women vying for his attention, only one has that ability to make him question if he ever felt true love before; even for his beloved Miki. Is it Stefani, the annoying baby mother; Nephia, the beautiful dance teacher; his eccentric next-door neighbor, Nola; Keyma, the one that slipped away, or someone else from his past that shakes things up by her presence? Will he be able to let go of the pain of the past and learn to trust his once-broken heart when it tells him he’s ready, or will his reservations cause him a loss to love again?
This was the type of story that the more I read, the better it became. Bebe and Nola had more in common than they realized. Emotional content went well with the title. The storyline was detailed in showing their situation as well as the various people involved and the connection of characters. Good ending and read
I have never read anything this bad by this author. I don't know what happen with this book but this is not her usual work. There were a lot of errors and the story line was just terrible. I am still a fan and hope her next book is better.
Girl I was so emotional in this here book girl you did your thang with this here boook I was into it I couldn’t put it down thanks foor this ending had me smiling all hard in stuff
Never a dull moment with Ivy books. Diff a page turner. At first I thought Bebe was gone let Nola get away with his stubborn but but he didn’t!! Good book y’all
Biiiiiiiihhhhhh!!! You did that Boo!! This was a great read, I loved how you tied this and Never Trust a Broken Heart together. You had me heated in some parts of the book. My emotions where all over the place. This was a page turner. I promise you will not be disappointed with this read.
So I was reading this book and I had to go back to the reviews and see how this book had so many great reviews I was not impressed at all . It was so confusing baby Nola was putting up with too much foolishness
Good story overall. I had trouble following along for a while. There was a lot of unnecessary drama that went on for too long in my opinion. Bebe was using his fiancée and unborn child’s death as a crutch. He was afraid to love and lose again. He allowed unhealthy female attention to cloud his judgment, which prevented him from following his heart. For most of the story we had to endure his indecisiveness. I liked Nola’s character. She was strong, loving, accepting, and her own damn woman. Just what Bebe needed. However, she had her skeletons to bury as well. All of the events culminate towards of the end of the story, which helps puts things into perspective for the reader.

Girl you made my day with this book I fell along time coming thank you so much.Overall Ok the characters was great especially Nola, she was the true ride or die chic. I loved the building of anticipation with Bebe he was getting on my last nerves with all these other women it was insane, I thought a woman was going to put a cap on his ass for his womanizing ways but it turned out to be a front for his true intentions for the actual love of his life I'm so ecstatic for Bebes journey. Thanks Ivy Simone now if only you could please do Asad next i need to know how's he coping and where's his family
Everytime I start reading from one of my favorite authors, it takes to awhile to get flowing because I don't want the book to be over. I really loved this story. I liked the fact that Bebe went through hoe phase in a respectable way if that makes sense. He let every lady he met that he was unavailable to commit even with the one he loved. I felt Nola getting tried of his mess because we as women always gets to that point. She needed him to shoot his shot because her feelings were always out there he just needed to realize his. Ivy Symone never a disappointment!!!
This book was a beautiful example of a healing for your heart and soul!!!… I love how Bebe and Nola loved each, even through their brokenness!!!… I was not expecting everything that unfolded in this book, but I’m so happy I was able to experience it with these friends and families!!!… To love someone, but fear keeps them at bay and knowing it’s easier to be with them than it is to be without them!!!… Bebe got his happily ever after and Nola got hers!!!…I love how even though they lived apart, they never missed a beat with the children!!!… It was beautiful to see how loving and healing someone else’s pain can heal you too!!!…
I tend to get confused with all of the characters but by the end everything made sense. I really liked Kennedi & BJ their sassiness was too cute! The connection between everyone was quite interesting. Shadow was one of my favorite characters I loved how he gravitated towards Nola & never left her house. I liked Nola. Bebe & Nola had a very different dynamic but it worked for them. I was shocked by the happy ending. I just knew somebody was gonna die tragically. Ivy Symone surprised me this time around.

I loved this story. Two people who have experienced hurt but somehow manage to be each others comfort in the most unconventional way. Bebe and Nola were masking their true feelings for one another and refused to admit how they really felt but those around them knew the real deal. This sequel to Never Trust A Broken Heart was everything and I was happy that Bebe was able to find that special someone in Nola who he can build with and enjoy life as a blended family. Great story of finding love again after experiencing a painful loss.
Bebe and Nola were really getting on my nerves in the beginning. Although they both loved each other, Bebe constantly had women in and out of his life while Nola played in the background. I was shocked to find out that one of her daughters was Dorian’s, but it made since he was always showing up. I’m glad that they finally made things official, although it took three kids later. Great job Ms. Symone.
I know Ivy has been through some things and it is clearly evident in her latest release. This book was if the work of a new author and not a seasoned one like Ivy, if I wouldn’t have read her other books I wouldn’t have know what she is capable of. This book wasn’t good at all and seemed rushed with little character development. It lacked a real plot and I found myself skipping a lot.
This was just amazing. I already knew BeBe’s heart was broken by the loss of Miki, his unborn, and Tea. I’m just reading waiting BeBe to stop being so hoeish and for Nola to trust his broken heart ♥️and give him a chance and then boom 💥! We learn that Nola is understandably broken as well. Her loss made her perfect in healing him! Just amazing. P.S. Kennedi stole the show♥️
Happy 😃 ending it is!! Like I said in my previous review u don’t find to many authors focusing on the man to have a broken heart 💔!! This book was so freaking good BeBe & Nola is perfect 👌🏾 for one another they both been hurt and dealt with tragic losses... but what was so funny tho how the dang on dog (Shadow) was in love 😍 with Nola I mean the dang dog lol Nola a bad girl is all I can say Ivy u did great with this one
You can NEVER go wrong with an Ivy Symone book. She takes you through every emotion on the spectrum & back again! Bebe had been through so much but Nola had also. Everyone deals with their issues definitely. That's why you should never judge a book by its cover. Through their ups and downs, they were able to be there for one another in ways no one else could. And the ending of the book proved that. Kudos!
This was definitely a down south story. When it first started I said to myself, what kind off down south mess is going on lol. Nola was such a good person and she was perfect for Bebe. He was definitely a player and had to many women to count. Kids everywhere at the house from the extended family it was funny to read. They both deserved happiness and I'm glad they found it with each other.
I liked the direction when Bebe and Nephia was talking to each other in “Hate to love you”. I thought they would’ve been a great and better couple than Bebe and Nola. I also thought for a second that Nola was Nephia’s childhood friend. This book was boring. I felt like the only setting is in the story was just Bebe’s and Nola’s house. I skipped some pages towards the end because it was too predictable.
Lawd, Bebe and Nola had me going!😩 These 2 took me on a rollercoaster of emotions from page 1. I just couldn't understand why they couldn't get it together. And you wanna talk about 6 degrees of separation, these 2 had way too many people in common. Their journey was long and winding, but I'm glad they ended up in a good place. Good job, Ms. Symone!
This author definitely brings out all your emotions when reading her books. Bebe finally let the wall he was hiding behind finally get torn down. Nola was it for him,he just had to quit being so stubborn. They always ended up in compromising positions and no regrets. Beautiful blessings came upon their love making. Bebe finally have his HAPPILY EVER AFTER
Ivy is beyond talented with these books. She is able to add Comedy, Drama and action in all of her series. I hate the wait in between her books but they are all some how worth the wait. This book was no different. I loved it and can't wait to see if any of these characters pop up in one of Ivy other series. I hope so!
This is the most heartwarming story of Bebe and Nola. Where do broken hearts go? That question is answered in this romantic encounter of two people who literally tolerated each other for their own well-being. Ivy Symone did an awesome job on this story. I rate it five stars for originality in the storyline. I love your work!
I loved Bebe and Nola, but they play too much! Like for real! Who lives like this?! OMG, I wanted to smack both of them upside the head for their foolishness! Oh and the coincidences were too many, without saying what happened, like for real! Like I said, loved it and kinda hated it (but not really).
Ivy Symons is my favorite author. I have read every book and each one takes me through every emotion known to man laughter, tears, joy and ultimately so much love I can never pass up a book by her I stop whatever I am reading as soon as I get a notification that she has something new. Simply amazing
Even though I was a little confused with all the characters and who was who . I really enjoyed Bebe and Nola love story. The love that they had for each other was so obvious a blind person could see.I felt like the ending needed more ,I still have questions I hope there’s another book in the making.
I am so happy Bebe got his happy ending !!! I knew he was going to be tore up after miki death and i went into this book expecting not to like any other person he dated after miki at all bc miki was perfect but nola WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST FIT FOR BEBE i loved Nola sooo much so strong and the glue to hold everything together.
Aww that was so good. 😊 Bebe and Nola love. This was such a gift 4 me. It was a pleasure to read a book about family love. It was so non traditional but function so great. I was so tired of reading the same old hood sheesh . I didn't find nothing wrong. This story would be a good movie.
Bebe has always been a fan favorite. Your heart naturally went out to him after the tragic death of Miki and the kids, including his unborn. You always felt his pain through the pages. It was great to witness the organic love Bebe has for Nola. I loved their story. Another Ivy ckassic😍
Ivy Simone is amazing, I've been waiting on Bebe happy ending and he finally got it, this book warmed my heart, I love how Nola is the no nonsense type , and that kennedi is the sweetest, I can't get enough of these characters...
