A thorough collection of the most stimulating critical writing, Emerson's carefully crafted essays give a reader much to think about. Included is an introduction to the author's life and work, a chronology of important dates, and a selected bibliography. A must have for Emerson fans as it gives us a very strong picture of the type of thinker he was.
