Listening to the audio version of Maynard Moose Tales is a bit like going to a G rated comedy show. There are people laughing in the background throughout. Willy Claflin, a famous storyteller and the voice of Maynard Moose, tells multiple fractured fairytales. If you are old enough, you may remember Fractured Fairytales on the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. These stories are a bit like Bullwinkle telling the fractured fairytales but taking the fracturing a bit further. This This should appeal to families looking for a laugh or kids who love to see a story mixed around into something new.

It's definitely entertaining to listen to these twisted stories being read to you. It'd be better if there wasn't an audience in the background laughing at every little twist and turn to the Maynard Moose Tales. But all in all it was a bright and light-hearted read. Fun for kids of all ages!
