It's a godsend if you want to move from C to C++. He explains the differences between the two and makes the transition smooth. The only drawback being that the latest version (as of 2017) of the book covers an older version of C++. You can always come to speed by yourself. I highly recommend this book.

I'd to read it twice. Once for academic purpose, another for my software engineering internship. Each time I enjoyed it.
