How Does It Feel to Be You?

Rate this book
Take a glimpse at the paradise before us

A reality, our ancestors were intimately aware of

A world, our children are still part of

Comparing between modern and pre-historic perceptions of ourselves and the world, this book suggests that our ability for direct, unmediated interaction, with the actual material world, with our own physical body - has been diminished. Affecting all our relationships, both with one another, as well as with our own selves.

Yet it all happened to serve a greater

Perhaps a higher

Writing this book was most akin to a sort of "inspired journalism"...
Rather than a writer, I perceived myself as a journalist, a vessel for the messages of others. Others who are very different than ourselves, often considered insignificant.

It was also vital to print the book on 100% ecologically recycled paper, so that hopefully no trees would be cut down to serve the books message.

I saw an ad on Facebook that was an online course dedicated to the study of Animism. It was something I have never heard of before, but something about it peaked my interest. Unfortunately, I did not have the money to sign up for the program but my gut told me I wanted to know more so I searched on Amazon for books about Animism and came across this particular one. From the moment I started reading up until the very end it touched me at my very core. The words were written as though from my own mind (although I could never verbalize any of this so eloquently). I feel deeply connected to the message in this book and am so grateful the many universes (internal and external) aligned and weaved this into my destiny. Thank you Oshri for mailing me a copy of this book and sharing this unique perspective that deep down I know to be true. It is an amazing read and has the power to shift focus on things often neglected but incredibly important to our very existence.

A friend directed me to this book. I knew I would like it as soon as I read the title and I asked
my sister sent it to send it to me for Christmas. Reading it was like listening to water moving and I am indebted to Oshri for his intent in writing a book like this. This is not a book so much to understand as a book to feel with your heart and you whole body. Read it slowly and let the words seep into the living water that you are.
