I foolishly let myself think cancer would be the end of my journey. That it would swallow me whole and consume my entire being.
Oh, how wrong I had been.
I owed everything I had to my sickness. Every win and loss set me on a path to tragic endings and beautiful new beginnings. A journey of love, healing, and self-discovery.
The question was, would I come out the other end a victor or a statistic?

So many tears!!! I fell in love with Niko, Evie and Helen! Their stories all brough into one were amazing.
Where to begin.
Helen (Noni) was the true mastermind behind most of the way things worked out. That woman was amazing. From her planting the seed in Evies ear about Niko. To leaving the money to Evie and making Niko work hard to get his. It was all worth it. Niko, being this strong man but also being a pushover when it comes to the one that he "loves". He deserved better than Sofia! What a heartless woman. And Evie being so strong to have beaten cancer not once, but twice and to try to keep the burden off of her already crumbling families backs. To put up with Niko, and then to deal with her mom and sisters crap. Amazing!
These two were written in the stars. So glad they got their happy ending!
These books are truly amazing. Lexi is an up and coming author who really knows her stuff and how to hit the heartstrings. I would give this more than 5 stars if possible!
