The Container Affair

Rate this book
Governments and businesses are under attack. The Attorney General of the United States is being blackmailed. A radio talk show host is fanning the flames of discontent. All these actions are the work of a mysterious international cartel working to control the world’s economy and expand its political power. These men will use their wealth and power to undermine all who stand in their way in achieving total world domination. They will use whatever it takes to succeed, including bribery, extortion, and murder. The FBI calls on one of its most seasoned investigators to find the source of these attacks. His progress is slow until an unusual and secret source, armed with powerful intelligence gathering capabilities and financial power offers unexpected assistance. Time is running out and the question remains, who will win this clandestine political and economic war on America?

Didn’t want it to end - exceeded my expectations in every way!

I begin each book with high expectations. I want to be entertained, presented with a story that has enough twists and edge-of-my-seat moments to make my heart beat a bit faster, and a book that is captivating enough to be a “couldn’t put down” treat. This book offers all of those features, plus it is quite lengthy, which extends the delicious pleasure all the more. It’s all an avid reader could want and more.

I don’t want to give away anything. You should be left to discover the hidden treats on your own. Just be assured that there is no let up until the very end. If you’ve read any of the author’s other books, this one is very different in that it lets you peek into the devious mind of J. Eugene Porter. The ending - and the blook’s cover - hint at a sequel, so I hope there will be more Brad Bayle mysteries. I look forward to slowly devouring more of this author’s skillfully crafted, devious imaginings. Bravo, Jon! Encore!!!

It is certain these types of national and international deals are going on world wide. what is scary- i that most are unknown and those we know of, we do not have all the factors, and consequently we have to live with the results.
