She volunteers and donates her services to anyone who needs them. Life is good until her nightmare resurfaces. He finds her and won’t stop until he destroys every piece of her. Kolson Hart is ruled by his dark past. Control is everything to him, from the boardroom to the bedroom. He doesn’t care to be involved with someone whose life is as screwed up as his. One look at Gabriella short-circuits everything. Can he free her from a life of fear when he can’t even save himself? Freeing Him (A Hart Brothers Novel, Book 2) After avoiding him for years, Kolson knows asking his father for a favor is selling his soul to the devil. Only the devil wants more than he's willing to pay. For Kolson, that’s Gabriella. Left with two choices, Kolson’s only way out is to do something so drastic, not even his father will be able to interfere. Will it be enough to guarantee Gabriella's safety? Kestrel (A Hart Brothers Novel, Book 3) Kestrel is a survivor. The monster who raised him is dead and he’s now building a new life for himself, shedding his dark and twisted past. He moves away from his family, but a surprise awaits him. Her name is Carter. Carter is also a survivor. Her past is every bit as horrid as Kestrel’s. But she has a secret. In order to protect it, she proposes something so outrageous, even she is shocked. Carter needs love. Kestrel craves human contact. Neither of them recognizes what’s right before their eyes. Will they see it before it’s too late? The Fall and Rise of Kade Hart (A Hart Brothers Novel, Book 4) "My name is Kade Hart and I’m a drug addict." Isn't that what recovering addicts are supposed to say? Kade isn’t sure. He’s not sure of anything anymore. Not since he met Juliette, his game-changer. He thought he’d finally managed to put the terror of his past behind him, come to terms with who and what he is. Until she walks into his life. She’s running from the people who slaughtered her family, people who want her dead, too. She makes him want to be the man who can protect and save her. But Kade is no one's hero. Or is he? A Seven Novel The Seven have a find and protect Judgment Day--a weapon of mass destruction that poses as a harmless necklace--and the ones who possess it at all costs; and never, under any circumstances, divulge information about ourselves. I have always abided by this code. Until Serena Callahan, a sassy, no nonsense female, finds the damn choker, and now I’m the one being choked by my own emotions. Ever since the day she enters my life that code means nothing to me. And for the life of me I can’t figure out why I’m allowing a woman to lead me around by her slender finger. But if we can’t find the necklace soon, none of it will matter anyway. My name is Sabin and I am the commander of The Seven. From USA Today bestselling author, A.M. What a combination of stories. Freeing Her with Gabby and Kolson; Freeing Him with Kolson and Gabby; Kestrel with Kestrel and Carter; The Fall And Rise Of Kade Hart with Kade and Juliette; and finally Sabin: A Seven Novel with Sabin and Serena. With each hero there is a heroine who is a challenge to them. The three brothers have endured a horrific childhood but hopefully with their partner they find their way. And then the fantasy story is unique and entertaining. Enjoyed them all immensely!

The Hart Brothers Series Box Set (including the bonus book Sabin: A Seven

I decided to try the box set as it sounded interesting and was very pleased with the series. I enjoyed the characters as they had many challenges to overcome, but were able to do so. The brothers had a very abusive controlling domineering adoptive mobster father, who took the boys from mothers who could not pay their casino debts. The cruelty in which he raised the boys, naturally affected them and each boy was tortured in different ways. The books have a HEA for each brother. The third brother has a very mysterious story that introduces a character named Sabin. Sabin has his own story which I thought was really good. Sabin has men under his command to save a priceless artefact. I don’t want to spoil the mystery, but I wished the author continued writing about the other men in his story.

Good romance and suspense at the start, but morphs into fantasy/sci-fi

This is a good box set which starts out about three brothers, who were abused and broken, and the smart, loving, although also broken women, who love and complete them. Although I really liked the first three books, as well as the start of the fourth book, this morphed into a story that was too far from reality for me. So I will review each book separately.

FREEING HER and Freeing HIM are the first two books in The Hart Brothers Box Set. It's Gabriella's and Kolson's story, filled with their undeniable chemistry (🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥) and enough suspense to keep you reading well past bedtime. Each is the other's half that's been missing for most of their lives. Each one is the other's salvation and they complete each other. . .two broken souls, made whole by each other through their unconditional love.

KESTREL is another good book in this Hart Brothers Series. It centers around Kestrel and Carter, each also broken in their own way, but together they become whole. It's a beautiful love story with a bit of suspense in the last quarter which made it hard for me to put down.

After reading the previous books in this set, THE FALL AND RISE OF KADE HART was disappointing. It started out good and I really did like the characters, Kade and Juliett, but then the story went in a direction that just isn't my cup of tea. Was it sci-fi or fantasy?... not quite sure. In addition, the ending was ambiguous and left me unsatisfied. It was just too unbelievable for me, as I prefer books that parallel reality, but if the unreal is your thing, you may like it. If you are a fan of sci-fi, this is a good intro to the next book, Sabin.

After starting SABIN, the final book in this set, I saw it wasn't for me, so I skimmed and went to the conclusion. It does have a good ending and again, sci-fi fans will probably enjoy this. . .just not for me.

All things considered, I decided on four stars for the set because the first three books were so good and all the writing, along with this author's imagination, make the books enjoyable.

>Book Review – The Hart Brothers series Box Set
>I am an independent reviewer. This book contains the 4 books in the Hart Brothers series and the 1st book in the Seven series. The Hart brothers consist of Kolson, Kestrel and Kade. They are 3 adopted brothers who were horribly abused by their adoptive father. The repercussions of their mental abuse affect their relationships, and lack thereof, later in life. Kolson is a successful business man in his own right. He meets Gabby and falls for her while saving her from a stalker. Kestrel was never strong enough to move out from under the thumb of his father. He meets Carter, who has suffered the loss of her daughter and is bullied. Together they learn to grow together and trust enough to love again. Their love story was the most poignant. Kade is a junkie. He finally cleans himself up in rehab and ends up as a counselor. He meets Juliette, a nun novice. I always love when love strikes the very unlikely.
>The story takes a paranormal turn, as Juliette is hiding from something and is protected by an unknown entity. Juliette is hysterical as she calls out the paranormal protectors, until they show themselves. The lead protector, Sabin, is the star of the first book in the Seven series. This book is wholly paranormal with an HEA. Sabin’s character is interesting, as he is hot and cold in his new relationship with the human, Serena. The other Seven are not really developed all that well.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. These characters mate like rabbits! I am giving this box set 4 stars.

The series is interesting

Kolsons books brings you to your knees with suspense. Book 1 brings you someone getting closure from rape after 16 years of being hurt even as adult who felt she didn't have a way to get away from her abuser until Kolson. The 2nd books gives you the suspense of bringing down a really bad man who hurt many. But had a beautiful HEA.
Kestrel book 1 about broke me. Carters daughter birthday...same day my infant son passed away so it about broke me to pieces. However having an author accurately put to words the loss for a parent it made it so much better. It will bring you to your knees with emotions. Kades story is unique...and I sont want to spoil anything I'll just leave it at unique

Not My Cup Of Tea

The first two books in this set are fairly normal romance books. The set is about brothers who are adopted. But not in a legal or typical way. Their father used their mothers gambling debt to force them to give up their sons. And they were all horribly abused. The first two are very typical romances. The third one goes kinda sci-fi and I lost interest and quit reading the book after that. Didn't even look at the next book in the set. Not a sci-fi fan.

Wow

This was a very interesting story line. Each of the brothers were taken from their mothers when they were children and mentally and emotionally abuse as children. Now they are adults that each need to deal with their issues but find wonderful women.

Absolutely loved these books, they were all gripping from page 1. Surprisingly I loved the extra book with Sabin & Serena as it’s not my normal genre but like the Hart brothers I found it unputdownable, thank you.

Tantalizing

A series of ingenious stories with hot as can be characters. Women that find men that are as flawed as they are. But together they become perfect.
Do yourself a favor. Read them all.

I only got the set for the first two books. I loved them! It wasn’t normally the writing style I read. I was shocked I loved them as much as I do. The story was so good!

Freeing Her

Kelson and Gabby’s story is heartbreaking and beautiful, yet horrific at the same time.
Both characters are profound, with multi-layered personalities. On the surface, everything seems to be wonderfully perfect. Both are very successful in their jobs. But deep down they are broken by their yet to be revealed terrible past.
With its slowly building-up tension and the only now and then revealed tiny bits of the horror that happened to them, this romance resembles more a crime story or a thriller at times.

It literally kept me on the edge of my seat, and I hated every second I had to attend to my daily life and not to this amazing read!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freeing Him

Kelson and Gabby’s story continues in Freeing Him.
This part of their story is not only heartbreaking but heart-destroying. I was drenched in tears while reading about Gabby’s agony. And it is even worse to read about Kelson’s destiny and to learn about his past bit by tiny bit…

The slowly building-up tension nearly gave me a heart attack and kept me on the edge of my seat for the better part of this book!

Be sure to have a box of tissues nearby when you start reading this epic novel!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kestrel

Kestrel and Carter's story is so sweet and beautiful that I fell in love with both of them immediately. Both characters have their own dramatic and horrible past they have to overcome. It is inspiring to see what strong and amiable personalities evolved despite that past.
I felt drawn in with the very first page and had to read on and on to enjoy this beautiful love story.
It felt like a punch in the gut as fate struck mid-story and everything spiraled out of control…

This absolutely is another must-read by this gifted author… a real page turner!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Fall and Rise of Kade Hart

Kade and Juliette… well, their story is quite an extraordinary story!
Unusual, thrilling, profound, heart-warming and at times scaring and depressing.
Both characters survived a horrific past. How? I can’t even begin to process how they did it, and this past is reflected in their personalities and behavior.
One can’t avoid falling for them… they are just too adorable in their worshiping and caring for each other.
The plot is twisted and full of mysteries. Sometimes I wasn’t sure whether I read or slept and dreamed…

Anyhow, this is another must read by Ms. Hargrove you don’t want to miss!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sabin

Sabin and Serena’s story is like a fairy tale.
The characters have very, VERY different backgrounds, and thus the tension between them is very high at the beginning. And don’t get me started with the chemistry between both… it is out of this world and at times almost set my e-reader on fire.
The plot is so very twisted that a happily ever after seemed out of reach at some points.

This story is thrilling and entertaining and another proof for Ms. Hargrove’s huge talent!
