Clips That Move Mountains (the 2nd Edition) by Dr. Patty Sadallah is a wonderfully encouraging and interactive visual journey to build faith and encouragement that moves mountains! In this fantastic book, she gives readers understanding into the depths of God’s forgiveness and ways that lead one to repentance, faith and believing, transforming lives. Utilizing media from 23 video clips from various feature films and sermon illustration shorts coupled with context of her book, questions are posed, and Biblical answers offer solutions to life’s common questions such as: Is it logical to follow Jesus? How can I find forgiveness? How can I live my faith boldly in today's culture? What is my purpose and calling? This book is actually a “love story” the author states; hers and yours with Jesus, as she shares personal insights, testimonies of a faith that moves you along your journey of Christian impact.
The author uses a compass metaphor as a guide for exploring the Territory of Christian Impact. Beginning in the Center, one discovers why you should choose Jesus. North explores how to practically grow your relationship with Christ. West delves into how to overcome life’s challenges and find forgiveness. South addresses how to leverage your life’s circumstances to share your faith and light. East shows you how to use your gifts to advance the Kingdom. Growing each of the compass areas grow your territory of Christian Impact both here and in heaven. Each section includes self-exercises that deepens the Biblical truths highlighted individually. ~ This book is truly a unique way to understanding your Christian impact in the culture we live in and the eternal rewards involved.
The author has written an incredible book being led by Jesus to give direction to those in need of guidance, hope and salvation, (and so much more). Scriptural truths are enhanced by thought-provoking and inspirational film clips.This is a way of understanding through the use of visual aid, reading and hearing that go straight to the heart in one’s being and emotions, ushering in sound Biblical teaching and knowing Jesus as foundational.
This is a practical way to hear, know, and understand the Bible and Jesus, especially for those that are more visual. She states, “Every believer has a calling and ministry right where they are. This is their territory of impact.”
This book comes highly recommended for those that need understanding and encouragement in sound Biblical doctrine and faith.
