Honestly, was going to give the book 3-stars because of the annoying $%^& Miledi. She's that annoying. Apparently, however, she's supposed to be. So kudos to you Shirakome sensei for making her so utterly annoying you have truly achieved your goal.
It is a lot of fun to see some of the origins of the main line story. If you haven't read the main series, I'd start there, not because you won't understand this, but it might give you a different perspective on things than reading the side story first.
Verdict: It's Arifureta. If you like the world, it's worth looking up.
Genuinely one of the worst written books I’ve ever read. Despite the obnoxious characters and inability to function like people who I wouldn’t flush down the toilet and despite the bad editing job and choppy writing, I would have given this books two stars (because it was at least mildly interesting and a tiny funny in a few select parts) had it not been for the author obsession with talking about the boobs of preteen girls.
This is a prequel to arifureta that is a blast to read. I was thinking that this story would be a more plain read, but that is not true by a long shot. If you like the main books and want to see a bit more of the world and a few more explosions, then give this book a try.
This was quite fun. I almost didn’t read it because of that 1-star review, but there’s nothing more than a standard jokey bit about the older girl being more flat-chested than a younger girl. I think they are obliged by law to put that in.
