What's better than four sexy dragon shifters? Five of them.
Especially when one's a golden dragon.
My mates and I have finally got this family thing figured out--the six of us, on a beautiful island, with a new baby on the way.
Unfortunately, we've got one teeny tiny problem. We still haven't healed the orestaia, the dragon fertility stone.
Danger looms up ahead of us. Enemy dragons abound. And an epic dragon battle brews--one that threatens to tilt the balance of dark magick versus the light.
Can we get out of this with all our scales intact, and still manage to save the dragon race?
Publisher's Note: Ignited is Book 3 in the Orestaia Series. It should be read after Scorched and Singed. This is a reverse harem romance 18+.
Misty Malloy has a self-diagnosed obsession with hair metal bands from the 80s. When she’s not listening to Guns N’ Roses or writing, you can find her walking dogs at the animal shelter, doing Zumba, or having brunch. She loves happy hour with lots of wine and cheese, sexy historical movies, and alpha males. She lives in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband and their dire wolf dog.
I have read every one of these books in this series. The first one was wonderful, the second one was good, this book was just blah. I can not with good feelings, say that I overall enjoyed this book. I was looking forward to this book and seeing how Misty would end the love story of everyone, and with the final piece, adding to the family. I felt lost, bored, and plan just over it. There was nothing new to the story, and I didn't feel the chemistry between Lyssa and what is her last mate. Yes, they had sex a lot of it. However, that was all there was — a lot of sex between people but no real chemistry that would make a relationship.
So, in all honesty, I am happy I read this series, but I wish the ending were a little more story, not so much sex.
An AMAZING conclusion to a wonderful PN series! I love dragon paranormal stories, and this third book in by Misty Malloy’s ORESTAIA SERIES has kept my literary need for a dragon’s caress well-fulfilled. All parts of this multi-novel series have been full of page-turning excitement as well as all sorts of STEAMINESS as first Lyssa fought her legacy, her dragon, then her burgeoning magic, and finally her destiny along with that of her ailing sister Amelie and cousin Shay to heal the Orestaia Stone. A stone crucial to the mating and pregnancy of the weredragons. Because it is not in working order, the number of dragons worldwide were becoming dangerously low, so Lyssa and her sister felt impossible pressure to do what was needed for the stone to be healed. The problem was, they did not know what to do beyond the place and the knowledge that the magic required to heal the stone required both of the sisters. So, Lyssa had to develop the magic she had spent her lifetime avoiding, in order to be ready to play her part in the healing of the Orestaia Stone. The only thing Lyssa did not fight was her destiny to be wed to five male dragons to make her nuclear family complete. I have fallen in love with the amazing world that author Malloy has made using her easy style and phenomenally descriptive prose. Add to that a bevy of equally alluring characters and some “love-to-hate-em” villains, and it is no wonder that “IGNIGHTED” has earned five out of five stars from this reviewer! I voluntarily read an advanced copy of “IGNIGHTED” and this is my honest, voluntary review! Get your copy of “IGNIGHTED” today! Happy pages! 😉
The evil methodical power take over was diabolical and well planned. Will it work, and evil triumph over good??? Lyssa, Lyssa, I am smh! Why? I was yelling at her to share the secret asap! Hardheaded girl! I wanted to throttle her for not seeking help. I wouldn't have trusted Torm or Sven with anything so life changing, and Lyssa's inner dragon tried telling her! Hormonal idiot!!! After being rescued from immediate danger Lyssa and some mates decide it's sexy time before they get to a safe haven!! WTH! No Words! Imbeciles! I hope it was good, cause you all could be dead soon!!! Keira was such an evil temptress out for herself and power. Poor Ryker! The fight scenes were gripping and had me on the edge of my seat and praying for good over evil. Fyi: the end of chapter 18 ugly cry- bring tissues. Greed takes over evil and then good triumphs evil in the end with a hea. Check it out and enjoy like I did. !
Ignited by Misty Malloy is book three in The Oresteia serial and not a standalone. I strongly recommend to read the books ion order. The previous books are Scorched and Singed. Ignited is the conclusion to Lyssa and her mates' story. The story picks up where Singed was left off. Lyssa and her sister are on their way, accompanied by her 5 hotblooded dragon mates to reactivate the Oresteia stone. On their way they have to conquer dangers and master enemies that threaten to destroy everything. Lyssa is a strong heroine, but she makes mistakes, like everyone of us and that cost her deeply. Drake, Jackson, Trey, Ronan and Ethan have their hands full with their mate, let me tell you. There's never a dull moment with these six dragons. I greatly enjoyed reading this scorching hot conclusion. The writing is great and the story is fantastic. I recommend Scorched, Singed and Ignited.
Lyssa finally has her all mates and there is a little dragon on its way. there is only one small thing left to do and that is to heal the stone.
Lyssa is still were conflicted about her powers and her mission as to say and I have to say i was yelling at her a few times while reading. She was very frustrating at times, understandable, but still.
I loved all the action scenes and difficult choices have to be made by all.
Wow! Saved the best for last! An exciting ending you didn’t see coming! Awesome characters with new and old evil villains! Unexpected evil, unpredictable battles, and an unbelievable ending, full of suspense, danger, betrayal, and unending love! True, pure love trumps selfish evil every time! The battle between good and evil is fierce, belief in goodness and purity firm, and magical mayhem wins! Loved it, a beautiful refreshing adventure, with a fantastic ending!
The final book in the Orestaia series and a great conclusion to Lyssa and her 5 mates quest to save the fertility stone. Lyssa may have a bit of pregnancy brain in this final book because she makes some silly decisions resulting in a powerful war. This brings a lot of action and dragon fighting that I enjoyed reading alongside more of the steaminess and relationship dynamicss that we’re introduced in the 2 previous books
A fantastic conclusion to an amazing series. I’m sad to see Lyssa and her mates go, but I will always be able to re-read their adventures. This book had the most action and drama of the series. It kept me on the edge of my seat wanting to know if Lyssa would fall into temptation of the easy way out. I love watching the explosive chemistry blossom into love between Lyssa and all of her mates. Will Lyssa along with her sister and mates be able to save the Orestaia? I look forward to reading anything by this author, I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!
I did enjoy reading this series and this is a very good ending, leaving not unanswered questions. There are plenty of elements to hold the readers interest. And lots of action! All the characters are very well done and very rounded. There is plenty of hot steamy sexy scenes also the releationships between the dragon harem develops and grows. They have a future together, which I am happy about. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I highly recommend it. Well worth reading.
There is lots of drama, excitement, danger, action, heat and emotion in the third book of this series. You do need to read the first two books in the series first because the story continues throughout. Toss in some magic elements and this reverse harem dragon shifter was the complete package and super enjoyable. I am posting a truthful, voluntary review.
I have had a small thing for dragon shifter books lately, and I really liked this series! Lyssa drive me a bit nuts when she decided to take the easy way out and I was so mad that I almost stopped reading. I'm glad Ryker came along to fix things. Great ending to the trilogy!
Interesting story line, good character development,.no typos to drop you out of the story. With s*xy times, true love reverse harem style, no DD. Plenty of magic and evil doers to keep you invested in the story. I really enjoyed this series, I hope you will too. These books must be read in order. (I am a KU subscriber)
On whole this is a decent story. My issue is with the author taking the lead Fmc on an arc that made her an absolute idiot. It wasn’t believable, a goddess would not trust someone that dumb with the fate of an entire race. With a few tweaks the author could have saved this book. For an otherwise great series, it’s a shame.
Up until the last book our heroine was just annoyingly resistant to acknowledge the facts of her life. But with this part of the story I have to say Alyssa went over the line from naive to stupid. To be be this willfully clueless is hurtful to the whole gender, be it human or dragon!
Serious crazy sex. Mystery and magic. All in all a good book. The steam factor skyrocketed in this book and we finically figured out the fate of the Orestaia. I loved Ryker. Hopefully there will be a spin-off with him and the cousin!
Omg this series was so good. Sad to see it end but with all things they must end sometime. I hope there will be a new series based off of this one sometime in the future. This was of the chart awesome.
I just finished the third installment of the series and it was grand! Everything wrapped up in a neat bow! A great adventure and love story! Don't chest yourself and read only one.. all 3 books are a complete meal! 10 thumbs up!
I really liked this series - the author takes these Dragon's thru quite the roller ride of fun, emotions, sexiness, and much more. Very entertaining story and very sexy dragons!! I really enjoyed all three books. Loved the additional dragon in this book.
All this climax and then it was over so fast. The whole series has been building up for a huge battle and while we get that, it was over very quickly. I expected more. I’m did like the outcome, it just felt rushed.
A good read for people who are in to the series recommend highly can't wait for the next one of the series a really enjoyable read but quick shaping up to be a enjoyable series must read the next one of the series
Great story! Loved the way the characters grow together. Some sad and scary things happen but then it all comes down to an awesome conclusion. Thank you for writing it and the two previous ones.
This one was packed full of action and plenty of drama. There was never a dull moment with all the dragons around. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more from this author.
This series was by far absolutely positively amazing!!!! I binged the whole thing between days! It drew me in and I couldn't wait to see what came next.
