On a round-the-world trip, Andrew wanted to find the exotic beach used in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. No travel guide showed its location so he imagined a Lonely Planet book for photographers. He quit his job as a telecom engineer and dove into design, publishing and photography. His first book won the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best First Book and his second won the Grand Prize in the National Self-Published Book Awards. Coffee-table books followed and he has been in business for 22 years.
Andrew has photographed assignments for Macy’s, Men’s Health and Seventeen, and been a location scout for Nikon. His photos and articles have appeared in National Geographic Traveler, Alaska Airlines, Shutterbug Outdoor and Nature Photography and Woman’s World.
Born in England, Andrew has a degree in Computer Engineering from Manchester University and a certificate in copyright law from Harvard Law School. He lives in San Diego with his wife, two kids, and two chocolate Labs.

I just did not like this book! The photos in the book are mediocre and description regarding the place and time is not sufficient! Haven't tried the other popular book The Photographer's Guide to Yosemite. Even A Photographer's Guide to Yosemite & the High Sierra: Where to Find Perfect Shots and How to Take Themis disappointing!
