Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review. What an inspiration this book is. As an adult with a disability, I always enjoy books and stories about people overcoming obstacles in spite of their disabilities. This book reminds me a lot of "I'll Push You" by Patrick Gray and Justin Skeesuck.
As a runner myself (using the term lightly, mind you), this book was beyond inspiring! I marvel at these brothers--Brent, Kyle, and Evan--their dedication, sticktoitveness (is that a word?), and ultimate success, truly personifies their motto: "They will tell you no; you will tell them yes." They truly believe--and live--the notion that anything is possible.
This is a very real, at times, raw, story of striving for a goal. I have been running for nearly 10 years and every finish line--regardless of my time--is a joy. Being a finisher has become my personal goal...I no longer consider PR's--I just focus on the finish line. I learned so much from Brent, Kyle, and Evan and their story.
I loved reading each page of this inspiring story. I highly recommend the book for anyone who is working to achieve a goal.
4****Stars Our family had the pleasure of meeting Brent and Kyle Pease at a book signing event at The Hidden Lantern in Rosemary Beach when we were there on vacation. What a duo! The brothers were friendly, gracious and modest about their achievements. It was a delight to talk to them. I read their book in a day and was truly inspired by their love for each other, their hard work and determination. I’m looking forward to my kids reading the book too because we need more role models like the Pease bothers. There is no whining or complaining here. There is, however, a dedication to family, taking responsibility for one’s actions, plus grit, resiliency and faith.
if you are having a bad day, week, or even year you need to read this book. These brothers are amazing and inspiring more than any other people I know. I have been invited to run with them and in fact had the great honor to do so. It changed my life. If everybody could just have a little bit of the positive attitude toward life and challenges they do, the world would be a much better and loving place. Love you Brent and Kyle #TogetherWeWheel
What about sports betting, I also tried to win some money with them. And I managed, I had my own approach to this, I made sports predictions. To do this, I used various useful information about sports blogs, here is one of them that writes specifically on the topic of betting tips, how to start making profit from this business soccer bettings tips.
Wow, what an amazing story about two amazing athletes with a lot of amazing support. My good friend, Doris Reilly (herself an Ironman), recommended this book to me after I had read “Devoted” by Dick Hoyt. I hope you read both books and then lend your support by making a donation at www.kylepeasefoundation.org.
