Endless Blue Seas
The first time I saw Anya I was shirtless and holding an axe.
It was June, the weather balmy and Anya was beautiful, but that didn’t matter because I was drowning in my own grief.
Anya wasn’t meant to be my saviour.
I wasn’t meant to be hers.
A perfect summer, an idyllic island, a stream of stolen nights.
All bandaids on an open wound.
If we were going to live again, she deserved more than the fractured shards of the broken creature I’d become.
She deserved love.
Endless Blue Seas is a standalone summer romance, guaranteed to melt your heart and other items.

Such a beautiful story of loss and love and healing. Gabe and Anya have both experienced tragedies and as they find each other they find themselves. Everyone handles grief differently and Annie Dyer does a fantastic job of giving Gabe and Anya a voice in managing grief. Loved this story!

This is a beautifully written story about love, loss, grief and hope.
Anya returns to her home along the English coast a shadow of the person she had been 6 months prior. The loss of someone close to her has effected her to the point of depression. She now has one summer to come to terms with his death and decide on her future. She immediately meets Gabe, who is working as a handyman for her grandmother. Gabe is battling demons on his own and his own terrible grief. Neither is in a place for any kind of relationship but together they find a kind of healing and a sense of peace.
I absolutely loved this story! Yes, I shed some tears but ultimately it is a stunning story of love and hope.

Perhaps my favourite novel by Annie Dyer, I could get lost in Anglesy, and Gabe and Anya any day of the week.
So much grief, and loss, but almost inevitably Gabe and Anya heal each other. Spicy, hot sexy times, but with the ability to get down to it and speak honestly to each other that is rarely found in romance.
Absolutely gorgeous, five star perfection.

Story of two people trying to wade through their grief after separate tragedies. While it was a decent story, the pace was very slow for my taste. But very true to life if trying to overcome tragedy and/or grief. I was more interested in getting through the story than it being a page turner. There's plenty of heat between Gabe and Anya, however, the hesitancy between these two near the end made made their spark fizzle a little. Also the anticipated HEA was very quickly over and done. The author promises an epilogue one year later if you sign up for her newsletter. But there's no such epilogue for this story on her website nor did I receive one as a subscriber. Bummer.
I'm a huge fan of the Callaghan Green and Severton Search and Resue series. This book was a big departure from those type books. Just not what I was expecting.

A beautiful story about moving forward with grief and survivor’s guilt. It’s okay to find love and feel things. Sometimes a change can be just what you need to go on.

I’m a lover of angsty romances, but having read the description of Endless Blue Seas I was truly unsure how I would feel about the main characters and their journeys in Endless Blue Seas. The subject of grief takes front and center and, unfortunately, grief is very familiar to me personally and lead me to becoming a volunteer moderator for grief support groups for adults and more recently, kids, I feel like I’m oversharing here, but my point is, Annie Dyer has truly done an amazing thing with this story. Anya and Gabe are both recovering from some traumatic events that have impacted their lives in really big, life altering ways, both are navigating new normals and missing someone. Through all of this they find each other, and although they aren’t each others cure, there is support there. The story of Anya’s Great Aunt is also very interesting and is told parallel to Gabe and Anya’s story.
In a nutshell, this is a very thoughtfully written story, there are parts that are deeply emotional...will you cry a little? Absolutely, but will you cheer and sigh and smile? Absolutely!
Beautifully written, great dialogue and deep, complex characters; 5 plus stars for me.

Endless Blue Seas
Annie Dyer
This book is so well written, the words so perfectly selected, it is prose that is almost poetic in it’s vivid descriptions. Oh my Annie Dyer you are a master of your trade. This book hooked me on the dedication page! And then again from the opening words of Anya’s thoughts and journey towards home.
Gabe is an architect, an artist. Anya is a teacher home for the summer to recalibrate her soul. Both are broken by tragedy in their near pasts. Both need to heal and to allow themselves to feel worthy of love.
This story is a beautiful journey of healing and love set in a spectacular part of the coast. I believe on an island in Northern Wales, ruggedly beautiful with the sea setting the tone and pace.
Family and friends are important in this seaside town and I wonder if there are more stories to tell here. This story has strong, well written characters and a plot that has you savouring every moment.
This is a stand-alone novel with hea.
I received an arc of this book.
5 stars.

Endless Blue Seas is now one of my all time favourite books.
Gabe and Anya are two souls broken beyond repair, who find strength in each other to heal. This story captured my heart from the beginning and will forever be engrained on my soul.
I cried for these two as well as with them as they both struggled with survivors guilt. I was in fear of my kindle spontaneously combusting due to the damn hot bedroom, alley, barn scenes. This was smokin hot goodness. Intertwined in this love story is a little intrigue about Anya's Aunt Marcy and let me just say that no matter if you get a standalone or a series from Annie you are bound to be emotionally invested in any of her stories. Annie is one uniquely talented lady and I am a huge huge fan.

I loved this book! Anya and Gabe have both lost people that they were close to. They find each other and themselves along the way. This was a great story about loss, love, and healing. I love Annie’s books and each one I read keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what she has instore for us next.

The moment I read the synopsis for this book I knew it was going to tug at my heart, and I was not wrong.
Endless Blue Seas follows Anya and Gabe, who have both experienced tragedies that resulted in the deaths of people close to them. Both have set out to heal in a small seaside town. During the course of a summer the two form a bond and friendship over their shared experiences with grief that turns into a romantic relationship.
Annie Dyer has created a beautiful story of grief, love and moving forward with life. It was fantastically written and while I may have felt sadness for the past experiences of the main characters, I closed the book feeling hopeful of their future. Its a great summer read.

Annie Dyer has a true gift for story telling. This story to me is so different from her other work but in the best way.
She gives you two characters that have been broken by tragedy and learn that together they work but they still need to find the healing inside themselves to be together.
They are on borrowed time so it’s hard to tell whether love will be found with each other and made to work!
I loved Anya and Gabe’s story and what it communicates to us the readers.

Anya and Gabe are two broken spirits who have experienced unbearable losses. Gabe is an architect and arts and has come to the island to escape his past and the memories of the horrible accident that killed his life long friend and to let his own injured body heal. Anya is an a native of the island who left to teach in London she is retuning after one of her students families were murdered by the father after a teachers conference. She has come home to heal and to grieve the loss of her favorite aunt. Gabe and Anya meet and form a unique bond as they both are broken and recognize the same undeniable feelings of loss and separation. There story begins when they meet for the second time at Anya’s family’s Inn. This is a story so poignantly told by Annie. It’s a story of death, heartbreak, loneliness, grief, blame, guilt as two broken souls find undeniable chemistry and love as these two find refuge in a summer fling or will it be more. This story is perfectly written, wickedly awesome I could not put it down as Anya deals with her losses and As she is reading her deceased aunt’s diaries and comes to grip with her own feelings. Anya is helping Gabe heal on her journey. I five star plus read as Annie pulled everyone of my heartstrings. Bravo Annie...a book I will never forget....

Anya has come home for the first time in a while, and she's still carrying around some serious demons from a tragedy, so she's a bit skittish. She spots Gabe first when she gets home, and their first meeting isn't all that's it's cracked up to be. Gabe has his own very deep demons, so he's very hard to get close too. Somehow, Gabe & Anya end up hooking up because of their strong chemistry, and it leads to so much more. However, their summer romance has an expiration date because Anya has to get back to her life, though that life doesn't seem so attractive anymore. This story had a lot of emotions attached to it, as both Gabe & Anya really handles grief differently, yet, realistic in their own ways. Together, they start to learn how to heal, as it seems like they needed someone else who was going through the extreme grief in their own right, to talk to. Endless Blue Seas is a beautiful story of healing that I completely loved! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What an amazing story focusing on loss and healing and the process in moving forward of broken souls and the hope that can be found in the love of another.
Anya moves back home a different person to how she use to be after experiencing a traumatic event in which she couldn't have controlled but had taken hold of her life. With the sudden loss of a close family member she realises its time to take the steps to move on and decide what she wants from the future.
Gabe is a new islander with a broken heart and struggling to deal with his own emotions after turmoil. Can two broken hearts become healed together?
A real look at what grief and devastation can do if left unhelped and with the right support what the outlook can be.

Another amazing story by Annie
Reading the blurb i was a little unsure but once i got started i couldn't put it down
Anya and Gabe are both dealing with grief after going through traumatic events that have really impacted them and their lives, both learning and working on how to be happy and themselves after such events but not for each other, for themselves. Sure they support each other, but they're not doing it for the other person, which feels more real
The added back story of anya's Great Aunt and learning about her life, was a nice addition, and shows while you have the chance to ask questions ad learn more about someone do it while you can
if you're unsure about reading this, give it a shot, you wont regret it

I put off this book for awhile, because I need to be in the headspace for emotional stories. I'm so mad at myself for doing that! This book was so beautiful, I devoured it! Gabe and Anya are both broken souls, living on an island while trying to heal. They connect on a level that neither can deny. The complexity of this story and the layers involved totally grip you in and having you reading this book at a faster pace. You want answers, you need answers. Though they both have sad stories, they way Annie Dyer writes them, you won't be a bag of emotional turmoil. You'll be falling in love with these broken souls and their beautiful island. I really wanted more of this book, it ended way too soon!

This story is not your typical romance novel. Gabe and Anya are both broken and suffering from grief, guilt, and pain. They both need to move past that on their own, however, they are a salve for each other. They have an innate understanding of each others' feelings. Their chemistry is incredibly hot as they find solace in each other. Gabe is a muscular, sensitive, artistic soul. Anya is broken yet strong. Interwoven within Gabe and Anya's story is the story of a couple from the past which unfolds through a series of old letters. This couple also had much to overcome, and they succeeded. The setting of Anglesey is amazing! This emotional and deep book is written in first person from a dual POV.

Annie Dyer is one of my favorite Authors. I never tire of her books. Endless Blue Seas takes her writing to a whole new level! The depth and emotion this book brings to the surface is breathtaking and amazing. Endless Blue Seas is one of her most relatable books to date. She paints an amazing picture of the grief and loss that the main characters Gabe and Anya are going through. You cry, grieve, and love right along side the main characters. The journey to healing for Gabe and Anya is an emotional one, but it is also full of steamy, sweet passionate moments as well. I look forward to more amazing books from Annie. Well done!!

This is such a beautiful & emotional book, dealing with loss & love. There were times when my heart broke for the characters after reading what each was dealing with but was so happy when they healed. Annie did a great job with both Anya & Gabe, who were each battling different losses and had to work through their emotions. Neither was in a place for a new relationship but both needed each other to heal. I did cry some when reading this book as I was moved to tears but so worth it. I will definitely be reading this book again.

I loved this book! Annie Dyer wrote such an emotional book about grief and love. I felt each emotion each of the characters felt in a way I've never felt before. Anya and Gabe are both working though two completely different situations but they help each other work through and find happiness when drowning in grief. I think my favorite part of this book was how the characters worked through their grief on their own and realized how to do it while making friends and connecting with their families again without using them as a crutch. Overall this book was beautifully written!

This was a beautiful story about two broken people who find each other and help to put back their pieces together. There is a back story going on, about a great-great aunt who passed away and nobody knows what was her true love story.
This book was refreshing and filled me with hope because these main characters weren’t perfect. It made me feel that it doesn’t matter if you are broken for whatever reason, there is still the possibility of having a happy, fulfilling life. It’s just another great story by Annie Dyer.

Two broken souls suffering and recovering together. Annie's poetic verse and gorgeous imagery tell the touching love story of Anya and Gabe. Both are grieving loss from past tragic events that led them to the same quaint island as a course of reclamation. The ebb and flow of their stories kept me turning pages and loving the relationship growth. This was such an affecting read with a rewarding end.

Annie Dyer, you are a great writer! This book is great; it shows how grief is and how people deal with it. Anya and Gabe's story is so emotional, you see a lot of grief and love in it. I felt a connection with the emotions these characters felt since I'm going throw some grief myself. I had to stop a few times and take a break from it because of my emotions, but other than that I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

Anya is a shell of the person she used to be and returns home in order to try and get her life back into order. Gabe is working as a handyman for her grandmother, and they are drawn to each other as they are both broken souls who have demons to overcome. This is a beautifully written emotional roller coaster journey, about loss, grief, hope, healing, and is a poignant and heartfelt love story. I recommend for all readers.

Flat characters and boring plot line.
This is my first book by Annie Dyer and I was quite disappointed. I expected more based on all the positive reviews. The truth is that I found the characters to be very flat and boring. The conversations really had no depth or believability to them. The entire book just felt as if it was missing something. There were also quite a few editorial mistakes that detract from the writing. This is a solid pass for me.

This is such an emotional story about loss, grief and love. It is so beautifully written and handles the story in such a perfect way. At times my heart was breaking for the characters but in the end it was put back together again. A fantastic story that I enjoyed immensely and will definitely read again. Amazing book Annie.

Fantastic story
A wonderful story of loss, love, a little mystery and healing.
Sometimes all you need is to come home.
Gabe and Anya are broken and looking to heal. That is what the island is for them-a place to heal.
I loved the story it had just the right amount of everything.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It's a great story two people, Anya and Gabe. Both have suffered a tragedy and are grieving. They've come to the island to heal and in turn, find each other and learn to live with their grief. I especially love the description of the island and the sea. Wished I was there.
