Bendito sea este domingo de finales de verano, así como bendito el aburrimiento que llevo cargando toda la tarde.

“The strongest in this world? Those with abilities? Those with influence? Wrong.The strongest are those who have nothing else .”

Juro que pensé que iba a seguir con este bloqueo de manga que comenzó el octubre pasado. Sin embargo, me dije ¿por qué no? Sino a otra cosa mariposa. Pero ocurrió que me volví a interesarme por la historia. Gracias, señor.

Ha estado bien seguir la historia. No se me ha hecho tan pesada como la última vez que lo intente. Supongo que la ultima vez andaba más quemada que un pollo a la brasa. Siento que esta historia tiene mucho potencial y que el manga esta infravalorado.

“Me? I’m not doing anything. I have just sat here and prayed and my prayers have reached God.”

SPOILER ALERT-ish

I was so excited while I was reading this today and honestly the whole time I kept imagining it being done extremely well in anime.

First of all, I found the setting of this volume pretty cool (this was during the Sky Casino arc). And not just setting, but I found the entire story here pretty cool. I loved how they fought on this casino, and it really blew my mind when they introduced Sigma here.

Okay now, lemme talk about one more character here. Tachihara. If you asked me about him volumes/chapters ago, I would've said that I really didn't care about him and how he's simply a cannon fodder. But BOY did this volume prove me wrong. I loved how the author showed Tachihara's past and his current conflicts. Frankly, I love the exchange he did with his fellow Black Lizard comrades. And honestly, I kinda wanna see more of him now and I can't wait what his next plan of action will be.

Overall, a great collection of chapters and definitely made me look forward for the next chapters to come.

the convos between fyodor and dazai are so fascinating. also, studio bones strikes again 💀 they took their secret code out.

sigma is def one of my favourite characters, i just love him - i'm kinda sad he's not as pretty in the anime as he is in the manga ngl.

anyway, everything is so crazy rn i need to read the next volume

People are sinful and foolish. But, they aren’t as boring as you think they are.”

Oh, this volume was a treasure trove of world-building and rich character exploration, and I adored it wholeheartedly.

We are introduced to the mysterious Sigma and all that he represents and I'm quite taken with his character already.

The way the world-building was done was very pleasing. Though heavy in the info-dumping aspect it was done in a way that was not obtrusive or tiring and was actually a lot of fun to discover. Plus, it expanded on some concepts we had already established, so now we have a fuller picture of the whole story as a result.

As it seems to be becoming the norm, we're left with quite the cliffhanger, both intriguing and heart-stopping, and I cannot even get mad because I just want to know what happens next.

Really, the way the plot is progressing, with all the action but also the scheming and more heartfelt moments, is just delightful and enthralling.

Gosh, the abilities in this volume are SO GOOD. Gogol using his ability to fake his death. Sigma potentially using his ability to find out Fyodor's ability. Teruko's age manipulation. Such good stuff. Not to mention that Tachihara developing into a dope major character. Sigma is one of my favorite antagonists as well. "The average man who has become desperate"

Este manga requiere más uso de mi cerebro que muchos exámenes que he realizado aaaa

Eso sí, necesito hablar con Asagiri o con Harukawa para ver a cuál de los dos se le ocurrió hacerle ese corte de cabello tan horrible a Sigma. El pobre ya ha sufrido lo suficiente como para encima tener esa atrocidad en la cabeza, me distrajo varias veces. Ya fue suficiente acostumbrarme al cabello de Atsushi y Akutagawa para que me vengan con estos despropósitos
