“No man wants to date a woman that looks like she can kick his ass. Well, I don’t want to a date a man whose ass I can kick anyway.” – Cat

Two fierce competitors go head to head for a chance to own a piece of the number one Boot Camp in the nation. It’s a man against woman fight for success, and Cat has no intentions of losing.

A strong woman inside and out, she’ll be damned if she lets this man-child ten years younger take her out of the running. Sure, he might be the sexiest thing on two legs and every woman at the gym wants to do him. Including her. She doesn’t need a man to take care of her. He begs to differ.

Dean is anything but a kid, and he’s more than happy to prove it to the woman he wants even more than winning. But Dean isn’t used to losing, and he’s not going to start now. He will do whatever it takes to win the competition. And her.

You can achieve your dreams

I liked the book overall. Cat grated on my nerves some with her playing so hard to get. Dean was like a love sick puppy for Cat. Both Dean & Cat had some issues within their past that made them more alike than they thought. My favorite part of the book was the key that Dean gave Cat.

Love has no age limit

A story about a woman 10 years older who is entering a competition to build her own business.
A story about a 10 year older woman who has already experienced a lot in her life.
A man 10 years younger who soon tells her that she is the one for him.

The chemistry is incredibly strong and yet she tries to stop it. Just want the physical aspect but certainly not a long-term relationship.
A well-described story about a strong woman with uncertainties. She will mainly have to fight against her own ghosts in order to allow love. A book that reads easily and in which many women recognize something of themselves.

The epilogue gives room for a sequel with the daughter in the lead role

Cat has been in survival mode since she got pregnant as a teeneager but has now found her passion as a fitness trainer and is focused on competing for a chance to own a franchise of her own in Florida. Then enters Dean, 10 years younger, her equal competition and hot as hell who's totally into her. She doesn't do relationships and he doesn't do casual hook-ups. There's definitely a hot chemistry between them but she seems determined to end it before ir begins and is her own worst enemy. Plus she's on a self sabotage journey that could ruin everything. Drove me nuts that she only referred to her daughter as kid and never by name, but maybe that's my issue only.

Awesome. If I could I would give this book 10 stars. This was such an amazing story. It's about Cat who enters a competition of getting her own gym. One of the other competitors is Dean Cooper. This is the first time I read the story, where a woman is older than the guy she likes. Dean likes her a lot, but Cat is hesitant giving their age difference. I loved this book. The only thing I wished the book had, was Dean's POV especially in some of the crucial scenes.

This is a really good romance read! I really enjoyed the character chemistry, the story line was really, really good. It's not often you get a strong woman who's older in a romance read now a days. I definitely recommend this read!

An ok read. Dean I liked. Cat had her moments. She started off strong, but she lost me with the hair color episode (dumb) and drinking the night before a big competition then being a sore loser after loosing. 4 stars for being well written.

Our hero and heroine are both vying for the same prize. Will their growing attraction get in the way of their goal?

This is a pretty straight forward romance story with two strong, determined and well developed characters that drive the story. They are well rounded characters that you might meet in your local gym, but don't come between them because the chemistry they have is amazing. I really enjoyed the way the story developed. I had a couple of minor issues with the competition, but nothing that detracted from my overall enjoyment of the story. Well worth the time.

Highly recommended.

A quick enjoyable read.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.
