Harmony Lawson was born on a naval base in San Diego, California. Currently, she and her family live in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. She is mostly self-taught in drawing, painting, and writing. When she read her first romance novel at age 16, she became a hopeless romantic and when she started working for a book distribution warehouse in Oregon at age 19, she knew she wanted to write. Harmony is fascinated by angels, and she incorporates research in angels, the Nephilim, and fallen angels into her fictional stories. Many of the descriptions in her books reflect actual documentation found in various documents on angels. While she has endured many hardships in life, she believes life will be better tomorrow as she always learns something new from her experiences. Life has its ups and downs, trials and tribulations, and Heaven and Hell. She believes the bad times are a test to prove a person’s worth. Her books reflect on that concept. Writing also helps her heal from past traumas. In the meantime, she cares for her family, loves her pugs, and remains silly through all that life throws at her. Her goal is to be an introverted hobbit.
I've read a few novels by Harmony Lawson, and I can honestly say, they just keep getting better. Seeing Angels is my favorite book by her to date and I'm really excited this is book one of a trilogy!
Harmony Lawson is the only author I'm currently reading that really is an expert in angel. I love that she uses her well-researched knowledge to craft really interesting characters - good and evil - and build a world which feels very real.
I highly recommend checking Seeing Angels out. It drew me in right from the beginning and held my attention all the way through. With characters and a world that all feel real, this is one you don't want to miss.
*I received a copy of this book as part of a blog tour with Lady Amber's Reviews & PR. All opinions are my own.*
I have never read anything by this author but this won't be my last. Lawson did an amazing job with this story and I could not put it down. Were all sick here and this is horribly late but I had a great time reading this one. The cover is gorgeous and the story is breath taking. This is the gem that you find everyone in a while with indie titles. The world building and the character were stellar and I loved the romance and the take on angels. This is def. in the vein of The Ghost Hunter's Daughter, The Demon Trapper's Daughter, and The Mortician's Daughter (I kind of see a trend going on lol).
This was so good! An fantastic young adult book! I couldn’t put it down! I was so drawn into this book right from the beginning. Senior year of high school and a new friend to the gang. Brought back so many memories. Senior prom, my husband asked me out by asking if he could take me to my prom, we are only days apart in age, but because of where we started school, he was a year ahead of me. Anyway Earl asked Cami the same way and boy did I have flashbacks. But my prom wasn’t as eventful as Cami’s was. I’ve heard of humans being able to see ghost, I saw my Dad, but to see who is an angel is something really special. I can’t wait to see how it goes in the next two books. This storyline renewed my faith and reminded me that we are not alone, that angles are everywhere. It reminded me of good times, when I was young and foolish and definitely had angles with me. It brought joy to my heart to see true young love, like I had so long ago with my husband. It made me take a step back and thank God for everything in the past almost 60 years. I enjoy a book more when I can connect to it and bring meaning to my life. I hope I get the chance to read the next two books, I have many questions that need answers
How often do you see angels, I got this one and instantly fell in love with Camille Harper’s angles and had this strange scary feeling about winged demons which kept me hooked to the book.
Harmony Lawrance’s Seeing Angels is a beautiful novel where a teenager’s confrontation between beautiful angels and dark-winged creatures is a breathtaking and compelling tale in this trilogy. A reader can feel the trauma that Camille undergoes while facing confrontation of angels and winged demons. I liked this book of the trilogy and yet to read her earlier one but now surely go and pick that...’
I got hocked with this book from page one, it is a real page-turner. You can connect with the characters and I highly recommend this book, especially those who believe in angels and fight between good and bad.
I am Looking forward to getting stuck with Harmony Lawrance’s novels. She is just Brilliant!
My daughter also read this story, and she ate this book like it was birthday cake, lol! She loved it! We both did. This was a captivating story that was impossible to put down. There was a lot of dialogue and action which I like with the details and description just right for my taste. The forbidden love made it that much more emotional. I cannot wait to read book 2 by this author.
Camille has the ability to see angels. They are always around her, watching. Then she meets Jason and they have an undeniable chemistry. I was quickly drawn into this story and I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The characters are very relatable. I have teenagers and this author depicts them very well. This kids aren't perfect, but they're good kids. I would be comfortable letting my kids read this. Well done.
I enjoyed this story. The plot and characters were strong. Camille and Jason's journey had it's ups and downs but they were drawn to one another, their connection, the chemistry was strong. They were great together.
"This was a captivating story that was impossible to put down. There was a lot of dialogue and action which I like with the details and description just right for my taste. The forbidden love made it that much more emotional. I cannot wait to read more!
The end is nigh and the battle to end all battles draws near. Angels and demons are drawn toward a certain girl, Cami. This mystery is complicated by the fact that an angel falls with love with her. Beautifully gothic, epic in scope, this story gripped me like no other. Two thumbs up!
I'll be honest, reads like this are always my favorite! And this one fills my collection now. It's a great read that I will always come back to. I cannot wait for the next book.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable read. Beautifully presented book, format and layout make it easy to read. Great flow, structure and pace that makes you eager to turn the page. Lots of detailed descriptions puts you right in the heart of the action. Sweet, sincere romance with a hint of steam to get the pulse racing. The main character Cami is modern and relatable with values that makes her a strong protagonist and her inner dialogue/narration of events helps to drive the story forward. The story unfolds really well with intriguing characters and spiritual lore that builds up nicely to the next book which I will certainly be reading. I need to know what happens as I confess I have a soft spot for the bad guys, let's see what happens next.
