Ilia Delio, OSF is a Franciscan Sister of Washington, D.C. and American theologian specializing in the area of science and religion, with interests in evolution, physics and neuroscience and the importance of these for theology. She was born in Newark, New Jersey and is the youngest of four children.

entertaining, informative

I like how they expanded on concepts of trinity, love, and mystery. I had to listen to the chapters a couple a times because the writing was was so perplexing. I think I would have to outline the book to get a better understanding of the topics. This reflection was definitely entertaining, though. I recommend this book.

CHRIST CRUCIFIED is a profound, complex study of St. Bonaventure's teaching concerning the Mysticism of the Crucified Christ. I found Illia Delio's book to be thought provoking, reading in short sections followed by meditation and prayer.
