Hocus Pocus: Chapter 3
This is the 3rd Chapter in the Madame Zo series. Each chapter is a mini story, complete in itself but part of a larger, esoteric novel. Channeled by CJ Freeman*, the story is told in the first person by Madame Zo, a black woman in the early 1900's.
In Chapter 3, Madame Zo faces a crippling medical condition no doctors can heal. In this story of lucid dreaming and magic, Madame Zo explores the power of imagination and the importance of the invisible self, and finds healing in the most unlikely of places.
