I just wanted a place to call my own, friends I fit in with, and for the job I loved to remain mine.
Too bad I wasn’t born with a certain male appendage.

This series......"shaking my head" is so good! I devoured this book in one sitting. I did NOT want to put my kindle down.
JoJo was such a strong female character in my mind. She is just an amazing character. When everything and everyone is against you she pulls through and conquers it!! I mean she has an occupation that puts in a "MANS" world. She can run circles around anybody in the garage but you know the saying boys will be boys is just a crock!! Then she's got a POS brother to boot and stipulations in a will to keep everything she's put her own elbow grease into. I mean come on...and not say how disappointed in her Club Girls *S.H.E.* has done such a misjustice to her is mind boggling. JoJo still tries to help them when nobody has her back. Well Key's has her back thank gosh what a good friend.
Steel OMG I want him for myself. Do you think JoJo would share...he's now my favorite sexy alpha male biker to date!! What starts out as an agreement turns into so much more. I love how much he ends up taking up for JoJo against his own club and his mother. He just melted my heart. These two were seriously meant for each other.
And don't get me started on his friend Charlie from his school days I have one thing to share that I think goes well with the friendship these two had for each other and that's a song by Sully Erna called Until Then...
We face another day, And distance has come, and taken you far away again....

Christine Michelle is definitely a rising star in the book world for myself!! I have got to the point where I will just one-click it no matter what if she's released it. So another winner for ME!!

“What? Did you two get the only non-frigid chicks in their club?” Steel’s voice grated on my nerves as the words found their mark and set my temper to full-tilt bitch mode.
“I’m a man, so it’s expected of my kind. You’re a chick. Your kind are supposed to fawn all over us even when we are assholes.”
“She’s too cold to warm my bed anyway.” He unfolded himself from the cab with the ease of a man who didn’t realize he might have just taken his last breath. He had just called me frigid, again.
“I thought you said he took off more than two years ago?” “Yeah, so?” “Jesus, are you telling me I’m the only guy you’ve been with in two years?”
“I haven’t been engaging in sexual activities, so no need for birth control.” He paled visibly. “Don’t worry, I’ll hit the drug store as soon as we get up to grab a morning after pill just to be sure.”
I guess shit went sideways with his ex-girlfriend. She cheated with a brother from the Dakota chapter and all hell broke loose up there.
She was supposed to have my back and it was blatantly obvious that wasn’t the case anymore.
“I’m going home, and unless Legs needs my help, I don’t want to be disturbed. Not by anyone.”
“No. You especially. It’s obvious where your loyalty lies now, and it sure as shit isn’t with the women of your club. The fact that you even tried to take up for him knowing what was at stake for me, Gah! That said it all. Thanks for your unwavering support though.”
“We already had a discussion earlier about your shift in loyalty. Keys, I won’t have it again. If the two of you don’t get off my property and leave me the hell alone for the next twenty-four hours I will no longer be a member of S.H.E.” Keys visibly flinched back.
Not to mention Keys rolling up here with Quickshot to give us the third degree and not having my back in all that bullshit.
“Still, doesn’t seem fair though. They both cheated on you, and you get exiled?”
They all knew what I was going through, and I probably shouldn’t have had to ask.
“Come on babe, we better get back downstairs. My mom’s not known for her patience.” “Yeah, well, she’s not exactly known to be nice either, in my limited experience.”
I tried to stay distant. It didn’t work. She has too much wonderful in her to ignore any of it.”
“I’m sorry. JoJo? It sounds like a dog’s name or a child’s toy. What is your real name?”

Wow, so Angel Girl had its issues (apparently I never left a review, which is weird -- I could have sworn I did), but at least it wasn't boring. After a promising start, JoJo and Steel get married to fulfill her father's weird wishes from his Will, which never made sense to begin with (hey, Pops, you're going to disinherit the kid who worked her ass off in your mechanic's shop, took care of you when you were sick, and was emotionally there for you, in favor of her brother, who doesn't care, never did, and will definitely sell your precious business while giving your daughter nothing because marrying someone -- anyone! -- is "the best thing for her"?). They actually fall for each other pretty quickly and all the drama comes outside parties -- and weirdly, to get that drama, the author sacrifices her two leads from the last book, Angel Girl and Sweet. I mean, Sweet was terrible all around as a character and AG had issues, but we were left to believe those were resolved.
Apparently, they were only resolved so AG could look good in her book, but then become the next-best thing to a straight-up antagonist in this one.
I mean, the author completely threw her characters under the bus for the sake of starting shit, when she didn't really need to. JoJo already had plenty of drama from Steel's Mom, his ex, and her brother. But of course, if there's one thing I know about this author, she brings the angst, but also doesn't really know when to quit.
I guess, in Christine Michelle book series, you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Either way, it didn't really seem to understand prior characterizations. I could have lived with it, but then the author added "boring" to the list. I mean, I can get behind a book that features a solid couple, but I need the rest of the book to be interesting. We had so many antagonists here, it was ridiculous, only for one to change their mind so another could be featured for a few pages. Then, the author seems to have no idea what her own timelines are. I suspect Keys's book will be all kinds of messed up as far as her romance with whatshisname goes.
Glad it was a library read. And as dissatisfied as I've been with these first two books, I can't say I won't read #3 if the mood ever strikes. Buuuuut I'm not in a hurry.

The h was great but the H steal the show!!! That man was dreamy!
This story is mature, with great pace!
Again some drama is created by the sack of shite H from book 1 (hate that douchebag that thinks that all men are sleaze balls like him)!

Now this is what I expected of this series, that I didn’t get in book one. I came to this series because of the MMC Steel, as I thought he was the lead in book one but I am thrilled that he wasn’t because he was perfect with the FMC of this book. Honestly, why isn’t this FMC the leader of this MC? Because angel girl sucks in nearly every way. I was glad she got her own baby though but that might have saved book one if that was in her book. Smh.
Anyway, this book was more couple focused. There was a whole lot of disrespectful characters that were there simply for the drama and then they basically disappeared. I don’t see the point of that in any story. Even angel girl was a useless drama player for a blip here or there in the story. If this book had focused on the MMC’s ex-OW and the FMC’s brother then it could have been more interesting than it was. But considering, the hot mess of book one I was content with this book.
This couple was great but after their ONE s e x scene they had no other spicy or intimate moments for us to enjoy with them. It basically became a clean read after that. So the couple got married because of the will stipulations, they got preggers on their wedding night, they had issues from literally everyone around them for no real adult reasons, the MMC’s cheating ex tried to kill his wife/FMC knowing she is pregnant, like THAT was going to get the MMC back to her. It honestly made no sense this behavior. We never find out what happened to the OW’s baby, which was sad leaving it up to the reader’s imaginations. The FMC’s brother got the a$$ whopping he deserved even if it was for something he didn’t actually do and then he disappeared too. Typical. Then HEA, two babies later, ghost visits and the book is over.
It was not a great story but I liked it just fine. Enjoy! I don’t like keys and quickshot enough to read their book right now though. Eventually I will.

Good Book
As usual Christine Michelle wrote a lovely book. Not my favorite book of her, but still worth the price. I felt like it was too fast pace and didn't flesh out all the events that happened properly. I loved the bonus section at the end. Such a cute way to end the book. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

I love this series, JoJo is a very strong , compassionate and honest woman. She is part of woman’s motorcycle (S.H.E.) club. JoJo is going to lose her financial security (garage) if she doesn’t marry soon and stay married for five years. JoJo meets Steel and they both decided to get married. They come from a complicated family backgrounds and involved in motorcycle clubs. I enjoyed the fact that they both trying to make their marriage real. Their is a strong sexual relationship between these two. Steel has been honest with JoJo about his ex-girlfriend saying that she is pregnant with child. He doesn’t believe that child is his, but his brother’s. Angel girl and Sweet appears in this book. Angel girl and JoJo get pregnant in this book. I wondered if Angel Girl baby is a boy or girl? The book keeps you interested with many twist and turns with a surprise ending.

The character work and story line were good. I do believe that this is one of my favorite couples. I will say that some of the side characters that I liked in the previous books I no longer care for. I still do not like Angel Girl or Sweet in any way shape or form. I think that Jo Jo and Steel should have left the clubs and made a life for themselves away from the toxic people in there lives (which is basically everyone - including some of their blood relatives). This book still needs some serious editing and refining.

An all female MC is new to me but after getting hooked after reading The Other Princess I just had to go there. I don't think that it was as strong a read as the first book but it was interesting, not as hard hitting I should say. I also read this first instead of book one so will we reading that next. The storyline was interesting and kept me involved and the characters were appealing and carasmatic but after the first trial between them everything was easier so it was the rest of the storyline that kept me reading. Will now go and read the first book

But his will is unusual he says JoJo must marry and stay married 5 years or the shop goes to her brother. JoJo pretty much has had share of trying to take care of a sick father and his business too.
She meets Steel and can't stand him. But I tell you he is a keeper and every womens dream man. Enjoyed it much.

I absolutely adore JoJo and she is one tough little stick of dynamite. I was sad with what she endured without most of her club sisters having her back, like she did theres. I was also glad that Angel Girl got herself together enough to apologize. Steel was just as awesome and I loved the way how he was fierce in his protection of JoJo against anyone that needed it, including his own mother. And few twist and turns and some crazy thrown in. Happy reading.

Oh how I loved Jojo! She’s a firecracker with a heart of gold. It was so hard to watch her try to carry the heavy load of her troubles while also taking care of those around her. It was why it was so swoony, even though he was an absolute a** hat in the beginning, when Steele stepped up for her. He backed her in a way that her friends had carelessly disregarded. Me sigh…I loved them and can’t wait for the next one.

Wicked read
Loved reading Jojo's story. This is book 2 in this MC romance series . liked how it went from hate to love so fast and it was a sizzling romance when Jojo and Steel gave in to their chemistry together. Definitely worth the read and i hope there will be more S.H.E books to come.

Didn't pack as much punch as Angel Girl but still loved it nonetheless.
Needed more substance to it i felt, more plot n biker mc story after all it's supposed to be about biker girls.
The she club was disappointing in this book. I know it was part of the plot but still it should have been in more.

this book. I liked JoJo and Steel. This book was far easier on my emotions than Angel Girl. I liked Angel Girl also it just seemed in some ways JoJos was lighter! If you have not read this book give it a chance. I am very glad I did! Thank you. Happy reading!! 📖📖📖📖📖📖

I couldn't put this book down when I started, I loved JoJo and Steel's story. The love and the honesty of these two that the Author expressed for her two characters was awesome.

I couldn't put this book down. I laughed, cried and was on the edge of my seat. I have a new book boyfriend. I just love Steele. He's loyal, witty and sexy. He is perfect for JoJo. I love all characters in this series. I can't wait to read what happens next.

I liked this book better than the first one. Jojo rocks and I didn't feel the need to bang my head against the wall in frustration from plot problems caused by miscommunication. Great read!

I really enjoyed this book and really like JoJo and steel. I am not sure I like Jamie and Sweet from book 1. However I have enjoyed both the West Virginia and South Dakota chapters.

I absolutely loved JoJo and Steel's story. My heart broke for them as their story unfolded and it was restored by the end when they got their happily ever after. They have become my favorite couple.I can't wait to see who falls next.
I absolutely loved JoJo and Steel's story. My heart broke for them as their story unfolded and it was restored by the end when they got their happily ever after. They have become my favorite couple.I can't wait to see who falls next.
