Another fun adventure with Liv Beaufont. This one was a bit more intact with a goal of sorting out the werewolves in their birthplace in Romania. Liv started on her own and without magic. Her mortal trip home by plane made me laugh. Liv learned more about her parents' work and the bigger evil masterplan which somehow involves John as a key piece. Liv makes more warrior friends and revisits with an earlier foe. The best was bringing in a dragon egg for Sophia, so many great possibilities!

I really like how Liv just does her thing sticking with her principles and slowly building a stronger community around her. The dialogue is still ridiculous with the jokes but they still make me smile. Taking a short break on the series but will do more next month.

Exciting!

We see some background information that fills in a lot of mystery right in chapter one! This series has been an exciting read, and each book becomes even better. We learn a lot more, along with Liz, and there are some unexpected twists as well as hilarious moments. Sarah is a master (or should I say mistress? Not PC?) of her craft, and I can’t wait for the next book.

This was my favorite book in the series so far. Author has seamlessly introduced characters into the series and we learn more about them without the intros feeling rushed or jumbled together. There are a lot of characters in the series when you consider there are 7 Council members, 7 Warriors, Liv's friends and acquaintances, along with the different members from the groups of Magical Creatures that are involved in official cases and her investigation into her family's deaths. In this book, Trudy went from a background character to a vivid magician with secrets of her own. I would love to ready more about Trudy! (And the others we have gotten to know!)
But honestly, the best surprise was Sophia and the adventure Rory has helped her to begin. What an amazing part of the book- and I am hoping that Sophia gets her own series. The possibilities are endless for this girl and I would love to read about them!
Off to read the next book (luckily it is already out and I made sure I downloaded it in case weather affected our internet. I wasn't about to finish book 5 and then have to wait to read book 6 when it was already available. No way!)

Unstoppable is correct!

I couldn't put this book down! This whole series is so enjoyable. Yes, I'm an adult who reads and enjoys YA. I read for escape and relaxation from a very taxing and stressful job. This whole series simply enthralled me; the idea of a young woman stumbling her way through sad & trying times, finding her strengths & talents, realizing along way that honor, love, loyalty, family of choice and fair dealing are the way to go are concepts that we ALL need in these times, but youngsters most off all. Such great writing including good bad jokes. I love that Liv learns that saying mean things has consequences and that humor doesn't have to be mean. Can't wait for the next book! Oh, and I also love that a child can be super talented on her own....can't wait to see what happens with the little sister.

As with all of these so far, only Fabulous describes the fun in these books. The Loyal friend brings in some new supernatural characters. Liv is at her best in witt and humor in this book. Favorite characters bring more than jokes in this installment. Less magic and more practical fighting as well. Sarah never lets me down in any if her books. It's amazing how she writes and goes through all the book release processes and still puts out 5 star, high brow books month after month! I'm excited to start book 6 and see what comes of Sophia's surprise pet and if Liv ever hooks up with a guy? Stefan...hint hint. Just my two cents. Thanks Sarah Noffke for a few hours of adventure and laughs.

Well this was another fun filled adventure. I loved Liv and just find her so funny. I love Sophia and I can't believe she now has a dragon egg. I can't wait to see what happens with that. Rudolph is so funny and I can't believe he is the king now that can't go well.

I wasn't sure when I started this series as it just seemed to be full of tropes, but it's honestly been a delight to read. Looking forward to getting to the bottom of things.

This series will grab you and keep you reading long into the night!

When you open up a book by Sarah Noffke in collaboration with Michael Anderle, it's a sure thing that any plans you have for that night pr even the rest of the week because I'm not the only one with the inability to set the books aside. From the first paragraph of the first chapter, Sara has the ability to grab hold of your imagination and open az world that's beyond what ever you messy have anticipated. The action, the unique adventure, will a world in your mind filed with unbelief characters that you either hate our want to have a beer with. The humor will have you laughing out loud and for me,the chest inn the cake is that when i make it to the end,the next book is there in the cloud waiting for 3rd to download and dive into its delicious tales that are better than any treaty. While I'll i had gotten behind on my reading and look at my THE list growing faster than i can read, i must say that I've found a silver lining, not having to wait those long 2weeks for the next book to come out back when i was caught up and devouring the early series in the KGU. Bout only are the authors have talent few would believe possible and continue to attract others with talent to join them.
I've always been an Avid reader and remember to many times waiting and years for the next book in a series and before the days of Amazon and the PC in every home,if you lived in a small town you watched the local drugstores and Wal-Mart . It would have seemed like fantasy of someone had said there were going to be done extremely talented people who would write series that the wait was almost nonexistent and no matter the project they come up with you can count on it to be fresh and unique each time with humor that is never forced. It would be easy to believe they discovered some of the fantasy the site about and sprinkle it on their work as they begin. Not only that, from the first book, there's that welcoming, personal friend vibe that they all include in the authors notes as a promise of what can be expected when you join party constantly going on over on Facebook. Now that next book has been downloaded so guess I'm gonna read tonight, she can sleep in our next life!LOL📚🤓👓🍹

It just keeps getting better!

Liv has a lot on her plate, and she seems to be having to deal with one major, life-threatening, job after another.

But, when Adler tells her that she will have to travel abroad, to sort out a major problem with a pack of Werewolves, that she'll be doing this alone, and that she'd have to do so with her magic locked away, the other Warriors, and her brother, Clark start objecting.

But, as usual, Adler insists that she do as she's told, and Liv starts worrying that she won't be coming back from this job but, as usual, her friends are there to give her the advice she needs, to get the job done.

Every time Liv gets an almost impossible task to do, I love that she turns to her friends to help her think of a solution, rather than expecting them to do it for her. She is very strong in her faith in people, and she's determined to do her job right.

Each task that she completes makes her even stronger and, although Adler is too arrogant to realise this, Liv is determined to find out how, and why, her parents and siblings were killed - and, although she suspects that it was Adler's doing, Liv is determined to have revenge for their deaths, even if she has to wait for the right time!

I'm really enjoying this series, and I'm so glad that Sarah Noffke is such a prolific writer, so that there are plenty more books, and series, about the Beaufonts for me to look forward to reading.

Speaking of that, the next book in this series is book six - the half way mark - which is: The Stubborn Advocate.

So, as soon as I've posted this review, I'll be reading away, again, and I'll let you know what I think of this next one!

Catch you on the flip side!

Various assorted spoilers:

In mostly non-spoilers, Adler stinks, and I died when Liv challenged him in the meetings in this book. Fabulous! Plato is as intriguing as ever.

As always, I can’t wait to read more! I'm kind of glad I put off reading this book for a month or so, as now there's backlog for me to get through! 5 stars. Loads of fun.

Too much fluff, not enough essential storyline.

I still enjoyed the series. I did not find this book that enjoyable, I believe there was too much fluff and not enough storyline dealing with the death of livs parents I find the fact that she has not developed more of her powers seems to put me off with this series. Why hasn’t she learned telekinesis which would’ve helped her in the fight with the werewolves. Where are her eyes spells fire spells, lightning, water ECT. The title of the series has unstoppable in it in this book she didn’t seem to be unstoppable. Maybe the next book Will be better. Those are my issues with the book you may like it I suggest you read it.

This is the best in the Unstoppable Liv Beaufont series so far. It is jam packed full of thrilling action, threats, danger, suspense and excitement. Secrets are revealed, new alliances built, friendships deepened, and answers are sort. Sophia continues to be amazing and I just love Plato and Rory. Liv’s growth as a warrior, her strength, determination and willingness to fight to make things right, the dangerous situations she finds herself in and the innovative solutions her and her friends come up with, are all excellent and make you love the story even more. The humour, challenges and intrigue in this book will keep you glued to the pages and leave you dying for the next book.

Starts with the much-desired story of Liv’s parents death in the mountains.

Liv’s sent on a dangerous solo mission to spy on a pack of rogue werewolves in Romania and her magic’s been temporarily bound. Of course, Liv conducts the mission in her own way. Afterwards, Liv discovers more about the heritage, there's a fae mix-up and her sister gets a surprise. Leading us straight into the next book.

I like Trudy. She’s going to make a good friend.

Fave scenes: Bermuda’s cool gift to Liv, Liv’s idea about council titles, Liv’s philosophical conversation with Trudy and Rory’s unusual gift to Sophia.

I love this series. It is YA and totally not my usual genre but it is a well written and well done version of the reluctant hero trope. This is the fifth book with , per the authors, three more planned and I can’t help but love each one more as Liv learns to work with and make friends with all of those around her. This is almost like Urban fiction light as Liv melds the mortal and other realms in her effort to have those around her get along as she works to find solutions which serve all parties, not just those she “works” for as a council Warrior and part of the Seven.

I love this series!

Not sure what pulls me in, I only know that I like it. Just when I think I have the game figured out, pow, I get hit with a hard combo. I'm disabled and for the first time in years I have this thing called spare time. I read a lot for work but it was not really for fun, now with a few exceptions I read for fun! Keep the books coming I will keep reading. Got book 6 locked and ready to read, need popcorn (or for some reason... Nachos) let the book begin. When is the next one coming out? Peace

Good

Liv has a few special jobs to do… plus there are those pesky secrets she has uncovered that she needs to learn more about!

We continue Liv’s storyline, with a few new arcs, and some new friends that Liv has made (not to mention some older friends).
Sophia gets a few scenes too, and finds a new friend.

All in all, an exciting trip back into this world even if there is only a little progress on the background story arc, there is a lot of progress in the relationships Liv is unintentionally building!
An entertaining story for the urban fantasy fan.

Liv Beaufort

If you love a main character who is sarcastic, irrelevant, pain in the butt to authority , who is a badass in any situation. Then this series is for you. It is such a joyous ride that I can wait until the next book comes out. All characters are fun with their own quirks that makes this a fun and easy read. Once I start the book I don't want to put it down until I finish.

The Unstoppable Liv Beaufont series just keeps getting better and better. This was my favourite in the series. There is always something new that Liv needs to battle and we keep learning more and more about the Council. In the Loyal Friend Liv is sent to deal with the Warewolves and does it in unique Liv style. Sophie continues to build her relationship with Liv and this is great to see. Such a fun read.

You can never have too many friends

Liv is increasingly being put in precarious positions by creepy Adler and needs all of her friends to survive. This moved the story on but I feel we need to know more about Plato and his motives of being Liv's guardian cat. Always enjoy these books and recommend them as urban fantasy but if you want romance these are not the books for you. I'm onto the next.

Go Rudolph

I'm completely engrossed in this series. The characters are fun, complex, irritating and sometimes all at the same time. Michael Anderle talked to a fan about their favorite character in the LMBPN universe and all I could think of is whatever character I'm reading about right then. My fave of all time is Robert Heinlein's "Lazurus Long". Heinlein was my intro into the world of sci-fi at the age of 10 and I've been addicted ever since.

Lovin' Liv!

I cannot get enough of Liv and her sarcastic humor! The bad guys don't get it, but I do. She has some close scrapes in this book and finds out more about her parents' deaths. Plus Sophia receives a special gift and Plato helps to save the day. No spoilers! You have to read and enjoy them for yourself! You will be hooked; I promise.

King maker

Liv is back being her usual sarcastic self. In Rudolf’s case it’s water off a duck’s back. Rory just tells her she isn’t funny. The Council gives her the task of clearing out a pack of Werewolves this time. She approaches the job in typical Liv fashion and with a little help from a friend. Great series!

Heating up!

Things are heating up for Liv and her crew. While still investigating the mystery revolving around the House of Seven, Liv is sent on a mission with another warrior. While investigating werewolves Liv manages to make new enemies and allies. No update on my Liv/Steffan couple wish but there are more books to read, so I am off to the next!

Liv and hang get better each book.

In this book keeps fighting for justice, truth and acceptance of all. Liv does this while growing her relationships and her own character.
I really enjoy getting to know Sophia, Liv's little sister. I think her new "pet" will make an appearance in the next installment.

She’s so annoying. And not funny. Humor? Hardly. It just, to me, makes her seem insincere. And it’s kind of mean spirited.

This felt very much like a placeholder. One set piece or maybe one and a half, where Liv saves the day.

The prologue felt unnecessary. The events there in could have been revealed as the story went along.

As she continues to battle Adler, make brownies loyal friends and deal with Rudolf, Liv uncovers the truth and her friends have her back as she acts against the council even though Adler tries very hard to kill her, but fortunately he doesn't manage it and she grows on her journey as she does so. Becoming more the hardened warrior with every battle and trial.

Another great book

Love this sassy, snarky, fun character. She is put in the strangest possible positions and just keeps on trying to investigate the truth and do the right thing.

Great, easy to read writing, I had to read it all in one sitting.
