The struggle, pain, and effort which was taken by a boy are detailed in a very effective way. The deep-down memories dwelled in the heart are awakened by these stories.
The stories remind us not to lose hope or give up on the things which seem tough and hard to achieve. Each and every story is a new experience with a positive ending which makes us feel that this is the best life ever.

In particular, there are no flaws in the story and the narration is done easily and it will make the readers complete the book at one go.

The Best Life Ever
It's a collection of short stories. The main theme of the stories are nothing but running/jogging what one may say. The narrator's love for running is immense and has beautifully described here. The scenic beauty and the heartwarming stories mentioned here will touch one's heart even in this materialistic world. The village life has been vividly penned down and one will rejoice it by remembering those days. All the stories are connected with the narrator's running, the stories are intertwined and are experienced and encountered by the narrator itself. The love, friendship, humanity, humour, fear, death, politics and dreams are some of the elements that the author touched while writing the stories.
One will fall in love with the stories, I Have thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. I didn't expected it to be such an impressive read honestly but it turned to be one of the best reads of this month. The cover is beautiful and the title too justifies the storyline. The writing style of the author is worthy enough to read more from him. One will definitely feel motivated after reading this. It was undoubtedly a fast paced story. The stories will uplift your spirits and make you confident as well as humble human being. Yes definitely recommending, fresh read it was.

It is a collection of short stories that have a slight autobiographical ring to them. It immediately reminds you of Ruskin Bond writing about his childhood experiences albeit fictionalised. In the foreword, the book has been compared to R. K. Narayan's 'Malgudi Days'. The comparison seems justified as the sheer rawness of emotions packed in each of the stories will take you back to your childhood, even when the author himself does not write about it.
In essence, it has rough edges and the stories in themselves are quite sweet, making it all very appealing, especially during your rough days.

In this book, I have felt the magic of small joys of life along with hidden wisdom in every story. It is said that the best stories are usually inspired from nature.
'The Best Life Ever' is a compilation of stories of the author's adventure while running along the countryside. From getting lost in a hill station, running after coconut thieves, finding faith in the mighty mountains, encountering ghosts and acts of gratitude-the stories take you on roller coaster ride with a flurry of emotions.
Each story depicts immense learning, a means of self discovery and fond memories. The vivid imagery is the USP of the book. In his lucid style of writing, the readers get a feel of what the author is going through every minute during his escapades.
It is interesting to note how running as a sport exposes one to varied experiences which resonates with the saying that the journey is more important than the destination. It is apparent that the author finds solace amidst nature.
Themes of healing, loss and freedom are touched upon here. A book that is bound to resonate not only with runners but with nature lovers and those who possess a streak of adventure. The best life ever by Aditya Shroff is a collection of short stories based in a place called Umarsadi, a really small island type place somewhere in India which is joining the Arabian sea. It is about the author's adventures and learnings of various times.
All the stories have something different to offer and author's imagination is really unique and different from the common. In one chapter it's about the protagonist waits for some thiefs to arrive again so that he can show them that this world has mercy and humanity.
In another stroy it's about some ghost whom they have named The Hooded Figure. This chapter is a mix of this ghost and some villagers getting possessed by the ghost. Each story has led out to really thinking about life and what exactly it is that we are here for!
I enjoyed reading every story of this book as it's different from the usual and really intriguing. Author's lucid style of writing really makes us experience each and every adventure of author while reading it.

The first thing which attracts our attention to this book is it's beautiful cover with lush greenery and a boy running ahead. It reminds me of my native place.

" As far as you can see" which leave a beautiful message for life .
" Dhanyavad" , which is story of a boy who befriends and wishes a sweeper on new year. " A glass of Milk " ,talks of a kind hearted boy who help a deserted man through his kindness. " Draw a chair Munnu" talk of relationship between a grandfather and grandson and their love towards each other.
The author has done tremendous job in narrating tales from day to day life.
The narration includes beautiful descriptions of natural scenery.
The coconut trees ,the banana farm are beautifully described.
The language is easy to read and flawless.

This book requires a chapter wise review. The short story trend in the one fascinating readers. The collection of beautiful stories by the author. Every story left an impact deep in my heart. However, the most favorite one “As far as you can see”.
Its unusual how you meet people in every walk of life and they become stories. You turn around and you see millions of stories walking shoulder to shoulder with you.

One of the best book i have read in recent times. The way author narrated each story was flawless. Loved every single story. Enjoying the very little thing is more important. Just felt like being in farmland and travelling along with the author throughout the book. A book to be read by everyone not just people who loves to run. Kudos to the author and to his writings.

The Best Life Ever takes us on a journey with memorable, emotional stories where we can feel very connected with the characters. After the end of each and every story I felt like put on my running shoes and run along the author through the landscapes, forests, seaside as he describes in the story.

The book is filled with emotion and several metaphoric look-backs at the author's experiences. I liked the writing style and the pontifications. The stories seemed a bit disconnected though and could have come together a little better.

An unexpectedly refreshing read. Running is akin to meditating for this author and he was kind enough to walk us through his life's stories and enlighten us with the realisations that accompanied them. His writing is lucid and natural and it's definitely a good read.
