Love getting full series in One Boxset!!
*******Tempting Trade – 5 stars
Captivating Start to this series!!
In a dystopian world, a virus has run rampant and turns people into “foamers”’ disease ridden, flesh easting, walking half-corpses. A group of Altereds; people given blood of magical beings to gain their power, are working in the resistance to steal the “cure” from those in power. Jackson and Milly have dreamed of each other. Jackson is an Altered, Milly is a young lady living in one of the compounds. When Milly is kidnapped, Jackson is prepared to save her having seen it in a dream.
In a world that favors the pure and the fertile, where survival means only a 30-minute span of running water per day, tall fences and defensible positions. Jackson and his group of Altereds all feel a connection with Milly. Milly feels it too:
“Yeah, I mean, I feel this connection to you. I can’t explain it, I should hate you…but I don’t. I can’t. I sighed. “I can’t hate you despite wishing so hard I could. “Milly”. My name came out on a groan…and then he kissed me.
Amazing world-building. Wonderful character building. A faithful canine companion and mayo-gate (must read to find out) combine into a spectacular start to this series. Ms. Jones needs to write faster to get that next one published!! (not necessary with the set)

Fascinating Series Gets Even Better!!
In a dystopian world, a virus has run rampant and turns people into “foamers”’ disease ridden, flesh easting, walking half-corpses. A group of Altereds; people given blood of magical beings to gain their power, are working in the resistance to get the “cure” from those in power. Jackson is their leader. Doc keeps everyone well. Ben is a werewolf and Alex is a vampire. These four men are protecting Milly who is also an altered, and once trained may be the key to getting the cure. Milly is connected to them all through a bond, and each man develops a special relationship with her.
Milly continues to search for her parents, Foamers are becoming “smarter” and hence more dangerous. When the head of the resistance messes with them, it becomes even more important for Milly to harness her powers.
Amazing world-building. Wonderful character building. My new “book boyfriend” may just be vampire Alex – though each of these guys fulfills a need for Milly. I can’t wait to read more in this series!!

Exciting Conclusion to this Fabulous Dystopian Series!!
Milly and her four protectors are working to steal the cure that the “powers that be” are keeping from the general population. They must take in a former enemy to gain that access and are joined by additional resistance members.
Jackson is the most powerful and alpha of them; Alex is a vampire, Ben is a werewolf, and Doc while strong and altered is best at keeping his head and keeping them all healthy. Each relationship is special. Though Milly and Jackson connect on another level: “I know you’ll do anything to protect me, and I’ve never had that. Never. You can’t know what it means to me. What a gift it is.” Tears filled her eyes, and she came back to him. “The other guys, Jackson, they have my heart, but you, you have my soul.” He gathered her in his arms, and he had all he’d ever wanted and more.
Stunning descriptions and characterizations. Exciting and sensual storyline along with the struggle to survive culminate in a brilliant conclusion to this series!!!

The setting is a dystopian world where a corrupt government has unleashed a virus that turns people feral. The spreads by being bitten by one of the infected. There are vampires, physics and shape shifters in this story, but there are also "altereds". An altered is interesting, but you'll have to read for yourself to find out what that is....no spoiler from me.😇to
I liked having the complete series all at once. The series was great. In the beginning I was sure if I would like it because I did NOT like Milly at all. Milly eventually becomes bearable. It's a good storyline.

A reverse harem with so much heart...
This heartfelt saga encompasses more than Milly and her quartet of lovers. This “world” is so realistic you can imagine being there. The post apocalyptic genre is often so bleak, but this is more hopeful. I throughly enjoyed their escapades and romantic interludes.

Hot, Hot and Hotter!!
Alphas, altereds, vampires and werewolves oh my!
Very original plot and genuine characters. I love that they are all flawed and so relatable.
Definitely worth a read.
