Sad how deep prejudice still is!
Adam and Amber were friends since college despite the one sided fued between their families. Adam's family presented a skewed version of the love affair between his great grandmother and Amber's great grandfather. Somehow through the years the Whitmore version had the Gardner man taking advantage of the Whitmore woman when from what I read she pursued him until she wore him down and they became intimate resulting in her becoming pregnant. After the Whitmore father and mother forced the Gardner man who wanted to marry their daughter out of her life she had a miscarriage and was then forced to marry someone of her family's choosing. The prejudice against the Gardner family continued down through the years where Adam's father and grandfather pulled out every dirty trick to keep Adam and Amber apart. Bianca the woman Adam's father and grandfather chose for him, showed true character when seeing how much Adam loved Amber and was so broken up after his father forced her to give him up or risk his being disinherited she told him all his father and grandfather did to cause a wedge between them. Armed with the knowledge of the plots of his father and grandfather Adam went and got his woman and took her immediately and married her. I was glad to see that his love for Amber was so deep that he removed the obstacles to their being together! Each of these Members from Money stories just gets better and better!!!!

What can I say again
Ms dowe. What is there to say season 2 . Loved me some Adam .liked how you started out with the past of these families. That type of hateful Ness is still going on but you helped with the healing and brought it to life with a beautiful love story. I am so looking forward to more of season two .

This one is one of Ms. Lowe's best!
I have read virtually everyone of Ms. Lowe's books- this one was really good. It had a different storyline and the female lead was her own person and made no apologies! Great book!

Trying to Repeat History?
Too bad that it took Amber and Adam so much time to realize that they love each other instead of them only thinking that it was only friendship. Too bad that his family was so against the two of them being together that they tried to sabotage their relationship. The two really did not learn anything from their family history and accepted their choices with being in an arranged relationship while trying to continue with the tradition of demanding that their children and grandchildren follow despite being unhappy with the arrangement. I feel sorry for Adam’s sister, because I really did not see her being happy within her marriage, being bullied in her relationship like she was by her father and grandfather who persuaded her into going into her arrangement. I am not sure why they are going by Whitmore when the great grandmother married. Did she keep her name after the marriage and the husband was fine with his children not taking his name? I questioned that as she was married to someone with a title. It was also sad to find out that Amber’s great grandfather, although he was able to marry and have children, was not happy within his relationship and pined for the relationship that he could not have.

The Whitmores and Gardners have a long-standing feud that has lasted multiple generations. I really liked this book. Adam and Amber had a great relationship filled with passion, love, and an easy rapport. Another job well done by Katie Dowe.

Another Great Read
I really enjoy members from money stories. This story with the families having a feud from so long ago you would think that they would have gotten over what had happened by now. But even though the younger generation wanted to put it aside the older ones just couldn't and wouldn't do so. And that's sad. Adam and Amber became best friends but his family just was so unforgiving and set in their ways just couldn't look past what they felt had wronged their family members of long ago or get rid of their prejudice ideas. Adam and Amber didn't allow that to interfere with how close they were or how they actually stated to feel go one another. However the way Adam lived his life gave Amber a reason to pause and not trust that he would change it not hurt her. And of course there was gonna be drama to test what they felt or wanted.

I love the story, but Ms Katie Dowe, you need to to get a refund from your editor,… Name typo in a book can be frustrating & when you have Monique talking about her husband “Alexander” not once but several times, including other people, when his his name is in fact Lorenzo, well …
Anyway, Amber & Adam’s friendship was beautiful & the way they defying the feud… good for them!!
A blind person could see that they were in love with each other, it took them years to figure it out. Lots of obstacles in their way… father and grandfather are such bigots!! Bravo Adam! you are your own man! I admire Bianca, I wish you the best girl, hopefully you will find your own unconditional love.

Delightful..👏
Wonderful friends to lovers romance...so good to see a romance build up over years. Also loved the realistic treatment of racist ideals and old world money and traditions that turn into unending bitterness. The deceit of the father and grandfather was ingrained..passed through the generations. Its why racist hatred and class snobbery exists til this day. It is taught and ingrained in every aspect of society. I love Adam's stubbornness and courage. I honestly thought Dad and Gramps would try to have her killed!👀
Amber and Adam are a wonderful atypical couple and I enjoyed every line of their story. Well done....

Sensual and sexy
It was a great book! Ah Adam, everybody should have a best friend like him. 🥰 Amber was a straight shooter. Best friends usually make great lovers. They had to stand strong and fight for each other. I have to say that I have read many love scenes. However I have never read a love scene where the kissing had me hot and bothered more than the actual love scene. Sensual and sexy Adam thoroughly put those kisses on Amber to the point she didn’t know whether she was coming or going. The father and grandfather were total snakes and racist. I loved that Adam would forsake everything and everyone to be with Amber. Thank you Katie for another great book.

He realizes that he loves his best friend Amber who knows everything about him and refuses to accept that she loves him too. This story is full of family drama , snobbery and color bias but true love eventually conquerors all everything that comes their way. Miss Dowe did and awesome job of exploring real life issues. Absolutely wrote for mature reader's.

Oh My Goodness
Can this series get any better? Loved Adam and Amber beautiful friendship. Not sure what took them so long to realize they were meant to be more than best friends. I loved the characters and greatly enjoyed this storyline. Amber and Adam come from two different worlds where a feud between families has been going on forever. I loved the friendship and chemistry between these two during the story. I enjoyed the progression of the story and the way things worked out.

Adam and Amber ♥️ I loved their story so much! I hated how his father and grandpa went about things that happened centuries ago. I’m happy Adam didn’t give up although Amber was listening to his family. This book was so good. Jared and Bianca didn’t stand a chance, lol. Always Katie Dowe never disappoints!

Best Friends
I love that they were friends, best friends and then lovers. Amber sacrificed her love for Adam however misguided but she did it for him. Glad they found their way back to each other and live happily ever after as husband and wife.

I loved the fact that Amber and Adam didn't let a century old family fude ruin their friendship and budding relationship. It is hard enough finding love without the added incentives. Im just glad everything worked out for them!!

Loved the interaction between Adam and Amber
I re-read the book and discovered that I enjoyed it and so amended my initial 3 stars to 4 stars. The members from m o bet series on the whole has been enjoyable despite being predictable in many respects

one of my favorites
Adam… what’s not to love about this character, so much charm but when he loves, he loves hard. Amber character is so strong and independent. I love the storyline it was great to read.

I am glad the author gave us a pleasant twist at the end. The writer brought me in to the story such that I found myself getting angry, happy,sad and all the emotions described by the characters. A good read of a love story.

At first glance Amber was a confident forthright woman. Add love into the mix and she was unsure and weak. She put Adam through the ringer with her back and forth.

I gave the 5 stars because I couldn't put this book down. I loved reading the families history. Amber being outspoken was refreshing. Adam knew what he wanted and got it.
