Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
I didn't get as "caught up in love" as I thought or hoped I would. It wasn't a bad book -- but it just didn't reach the peak of satisfaction either. I liked the characters and the idea of the story plot. I just didn't feel that there was much relationship building -- more sexual gratification. And it felt a little juvenile at times -- these characters weren't teeny boppers.
Weston Parker is a new-to-me author. I won't say I'll never give him another try, but I'm not sure his books are a match for me.
I liked it. A decently good read. I didn’t get as wrapped up in it as I hoped. It didn’t have that spark for me, but each reader is different. I will definitely still be checking out other stories by this author.
‘An embrace that made the rest of the world fade away’
Author Weston Parker has gathered much of his experiences he generously shares in his Bad Boy books as a firefighter/EMS man. He now travels and writes, at times with his sister Ali Parker, and at times alone, and his books are all the rage with the Chick Lit audience who undoubtedly love the manner in which a man creates the hot steamy erotica that women usually write for this audience. Weston keeps it real with people with whom we can identify readily and he writes with such powerful eroticism that his novel steam from cover to cover.
Weston opens his book with a flavor that is the seed of the story from Greyson, the lead character – ‘Two years has passed since my best friend Eric DeVant gave me the promotion that I’d worked so hard for when I decided it was time to move on in life. Not that I didn’t enjoy my time at DeVant, the marketing agency that I had given my best years to, but seeing Eric and his wife Cassie so happy with each other made me crave something new.’ A move to Maine and his life dream of building a boat…
The synopsis he writes outlines the solid plot – ‘I was chasing what I thought was a dream. Having made a billion dollars by twenty-nine, I decided to retire. Build a boat. Back where life started in my small town on the lake. My days of one-night stands are hopefully behind me. I’m ready to find the girl who has a big heart she’s willing to give away. And I found her – Sage - but she’s tainted by her past. Seems life has dealt her a few too many blows, and rich guys aren’t her thing. They aren’t mine either. Ha! Looks like we have something in common. But this girl… she’s the one. I can feel the truth of it coursing through my veins. And if nothing else, the way she looks at me. She wants me. I’ve never been more sure of anything. There may be a million fish in the sea, but I only see one option. Her.’
Fleshed out characters, a familiar life change, and a solid romance as a payoff. This is another steamy erotic piece that works on every level.
Greyson is tired of the New York City bachelor lifestyle and wants what his best friend, Eric, has. Greyson decides to retire at age 29 and move back to Maine to find the love of his life and live his dream of building a boat. Sage works at the local lumberyard who has a reputation of being different. Can these two opposites make their odd relationship work? Will the lack of communication come between Greyson and Sage? Will past relationships derail Greyson and Sage's budding romance? Can Sage and Greyson overcome their baggage and find their happily ever after? I really liked Caught Up in Love by Weston Parker. Caught Up in Love is a great story filled with interesting characters, humor, emotion, passion, and drama. I would definitely recommend getting Caught Up in Love by Weston Parker. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Where can I get a Greyson of my own? This man is what my book boyfriend dreams are made of. He’s charming, loyal, and so adorably sweet it’s almost sickening. (Attractive and rich are just icing on the cupcake.) However, Sage drove me a little bit mental. She cherishes her dysfunctions like they’re long lost friends and spends a lot of time lashing out at Greyson for her parents’ behaviors. I was very happy to watch her overcome those automatic reactions and to see their relationship grow. The things I love best in a Parker title (no matter from which sibling) are the banter between all the characters and the sense of family amongst them all. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
This book is so lovely and had me swooning....I’m not a swooner (?!) so, trust me that’s a big thing!!
Greyson is a great guy (though for a second I hated him for being able to retire before 30!). However I soon enough liked him as he has great charisma and is instantly smitten with Sage, a lumber yard worker where he buys stuff to repair his boat. He wants to settle after seeing his bestie settle down, and sees Sage and wants more. She is working at the yard to pay the bills whilst art consumes her soul.
They are at different stages of their careers, but the passion is amazing. How is it possible to find a mid point between the different forces?! There’s lots of twists and turns in their story due to bad communication etc, but I adore them.
Loved this storyline. A lovely story of what could seem like two opposites coming together but then realising they were more alike than anticipated. Greyson was a 29yr old Billionaire from New York who recently retired to a small town with intentions of fulfilling his dreams of building himself a boat and finding his soulmate. Sage was a young woman who worked in the local timber yard and had lived in Camden her whole life. Basically it was love at first sight on his behalf but she was a little apprehensive as to why a rich handsome guy like Greyson would be interested in her. This is a lovely story and well worth reading. The storyline and characters are brilliant with a nice lot of steamy hot scenes and as expected a wonderful HEA.
Greyson has had his success and at 29 he’s ready to retire and build his boat and hopefully find the love of his life, just as his friend Eric had with his sweet Cassie. Then Greyson is mesmerized by the bewitching Sage. She’s different than his NY one nighters but is she ready for a relationship and all that Greyson has to offer. He’s wealthy and money means nothing to him. She’s lived a controlled and quiet life and is used tot asking care of herself. She is also still a virgin at 27. Sage may just be ready to take it slow until she realizes she’s ready for everything. It’s a sweet sexual, romantic read, and perfect for summer.
Greyson and Sage! I enjoyed reading about this couple. The small town girl everyone thought was strange and the young rich big cith guy who moved there. The two characters had wonderful chemistry and were well developed.
The relationship went through the getting to you, understand you and understand self before arriving at 'I love you' and this will work.
I like this book because it was: entertaining, steamy, a page turner, has wonderful characters, a story that one could easily follow and believe, emotional.
She had her stones, he wants to build a boat and find love.
You’ll be caught up in the story of Sage and Greyson. Sage, who works at the local lumberyard can’t wait to meet the new man who’s purchased a lot of cedar for a project. Greyson has done well with his business life and decides to retire at 29 to move to Maine to move into a house he designed, build the boat of his dreams and to find his soulmate. He just hopes he finds her....
Wow this was a story that was so touching. Made me laugh, cry and ooh and ahh at times also. I couldn't put it down. I loved the supporting characters as well. With a friend like Lissa you can't go wrong. And the sex scenes were wonderful as well. I enjoyed this book and words can't express how much I enjoyed this book.
The book is definitely a happily ever after. Some of it was a tad out there. That's okay. But the two parts that makes it worth reading is to make love work, don't throw money at them-give yourself, be honest and talk.
The book was well written. A few grammatical mistakes but not enough to notice or detract from the story.
CAUGHT UP IN LOVE is a fast paced small town romance. A NYC millionaire moves to a small seaside community to follow his dream. In Camden, he meets a beautiful and slightly quirky girl. He goes from feeling like an outsider, to being accepted by the community. I couldn't put this book down!
Greyson, is the kind of man every women dreams about. Kind hearted to everyone and loves deeply. The book was fun, while also being a tad frustrating at times. However, I feel that Wes; wrote the plot amazingly. I'm always left eagerly looking forward to the next Weston Parker book to read! 💞
I love the way Weston treats a story. He is so respectfull and caring with his words. Greyson is a characteristic man I thinks every woman would like to haveing their life. I couldn't put this book down and finally finished it at 4:30am. It was worth giving up a nights sleep it was just that good.
Greyson & Sage… Thank you Weston for showing how messy things can get before they fall perfectly in place. This was so refreshing to read due to all the mixed up feelings & doubts. These are real for a lot of us in life. You just proved once again that the Couple could come out on the other end way better than they ever went in. I loved it all.
I just loved Greyson and Sage story!! He went to a small town to find love and his happy ever after and he fought Sage!! They make such a wonderful couple!! I would recommend this book to anyone!
This is an excellent story of love, trust and understanding. Greyson was very patient with Sage. He was a bit whiny at times but adjusting to a new life and a new way thinking, he was able to reach all of his goals.
So happy Greyson was able to get his happy ending! Dreams do come true if you allow yourself to make them happen. Greyson and Sage are true examples of that. I'm in love with these two and so happy this book turned out the way it did. Amazing!
I always enjoy Weston Parkers Books. He gives us more of the males point of view in the romance and it is a breath of fresh air inserted in the storyline. This story was no exception. Just start reading and you will be caught up in his characters and intricately written story in no time. You wont be disappointed. Loved this one as I have them all.💜
Cute story of opposites attract. Greyson retired Millionaire at 29 and moving to another state to find his HEA not so belivable. Sage was quirky but not really the strong heroine I prefer. There banter together was cute and the cast of characters was good.
Play very well and developed an interesting chemistry between characters trough the story. Keeps you like glue until finished, he knows how to capture the attention of the reader from the beginning.Recommended
2.5 stars I wouldn’t say I disliked this book, I would say I felt no connection. I feel like there was really no connection between the two of them, and I felt their characters never fully developed. I feel like they had more of sex with friends benefits type of relationship.
WOW another awesome love story between the two friends, who had different lives, coming together ! This author has the best stories! Delish in everyway possibly way! Can't get enough of this exciting sexy stories. ENJOY
