Sad
I love a crazy side chick story, but this one was sad. I mean, yes, it was full of drama and entertaining with the outrageous antics that you hope to see in a book like this. But I felt so sorry for Kareema because she knew she had a personality disorder and when things got beyond her control, she felt trapped and was arguing with (herself) over what to do. I kept wondering if this is what happens to these people who carry out these mass shootings, they lose the battle within and go too far and then can't stop. The illness is real, it was real for Kareema, and all it took was one trigger to get it going. For me, that was the best part of this book, how the author relayed the internal battle. It took this side chick tale to a whole different level for me. Well done.
