'Some women are forbidden, others wantonly available. I draw little distinction between the two. My neglectful father recently got married... again... and is feeling sentimental. So I booked myself into the hotel that we'll be rendezvousing at; myself, him and my new stepmom, who my father is very eager for me to meet. Personally, I'd rather shit in my hand and clap, but the old man lets me hang on to his credit card and so I am bound to his will. But while I wait for the new couple to arrive, I amuse myself by feasting my eyes on the countless women strolling about the hotel floors, sprawling beneath the sun by the poolside, wearing practically nothing and basically daring me to have them. And I will, every single one that catches my eye... They will each get a turn to see the inside of my hotel room. This should be fun!'

Admittedly, I was lured into reading this by the glowing reviews, also, I can’t resist good Erotica, and It did not disappoint, in fact it was every bit as deliciously dirty as promised! so sensuously written, I felt like I was part of the experience, such well developed characters and plot line for a short story, I really enjoyed it, and highly recommend it..I really loved the karmic twist at the end, hopefully we’ll see more of his writing in this genre..
Loved the Main Character, who clearly needs therapy. Loved how, from the beginning, this book sucked me in. Loved how fast pace the story is, and the actual story behind all the raunchy tumbles beneath the sheet.
This author knows how to discern balance in books like these; no overkill of sexy moments, no drag of the storyline when you're ready to have more sexy moments.
I appreciate how this book was still able to be exciting, erotic, without being trashy and distasteful. I should have realized when looking at the author who wrote it that I would not be disappointed.
This is a book to read with a glass of wine, dim lights and nothing but the sensuality of each sentence to focus on.
A delightful book. Jeremy has a way with the written word. Sex with step mom Yes Never done this well. The writing is so good you feel there is a reality. Dad, son, step mum Sex! Just delicious. Great plot Excellent characters I hope Jeremy has Book Two organised. Five pulsing stars from me!
I haven’t read much m/f erotica for a while now and even then, not much of it was by male authors. This is a good one and much of its value is in how well Forsyth writes. A young man arrives at a hotel to meet up with his father and his new wife only to find his father is delayed. He’s a little miffed that his father neglected to tell him that he was seeing anybody, let alone married. Hanging around the hotel he sees a gorgeous, voluptuous woman but he knows there is no point in approaching her directly because she is way out of his league.
It’s sensual and has some humour too, with sneaky references in the hotel names. I enjoyed reading well-written erotica from the male perspective. In spite of my preference for f/f pairings, particularly in erotica, this was a great read. I’ve read all of Forsyth’s fantasy novels and loved them all so it was a no-brainer to read this one too.
A very hot and sexy short story. The main character has sexual adventures with a number of women. The sexy scenes are beautifully portrayed with plenty of hotness to not only warm you up but get things going The Step Mom is a whole different matter Jeremy shows off his skill at getting the reader deep into the story making you not only visualize it, but feel it too Scorching scenes with an interesting ending A very enjoyable read, that gets the heart pounding, among other things
Remind me to never read erotica from a male perspective again. I'm certain at least one of the sexual acts described will give the woman a raging infection. The unlikeable main character goes down on his dream woman and is relieved that she didn't 'exude no off-putting aroma'. Like WTF?!
There were typos and weird sentence structures. All in all it was a big NO for me.
m/f
Themes: what's with all this African Queen shit, once is enough, ugh!
Such a different genre to the ones I have read so far by Jeremy Forsyth, but still his signature writing is there. It is fast-paced, sizzling hot and fun. The lack of names makes it even more enticing and even though the main character has a raw way of speaking, it seems very real and authentic without being trashy. He is a spoiled, rich, with mum/dad issues man-boy and with a very dirty mind, but educated and believe it or not, sophisticated when needed.
After reading the author’s first books of the Sun, Moon, Sand and Star series, I am very familiar with his writing style and rich vocabulary and it was quite obvious even in this one. The ‘Broken Rose’ and ‘Evening Tide’ Hotels had me laughing, and combined with Jeremy’s unique writing style (and great talent in plot twists), I kept expecting the main characters own ‘Shadowa’ to walk in or an Elvess in a bikini! Hahaha
For a reader who likes sensual, descriptive prose which is fluid and delightful to read (and who wouldn't!?), "Step Mom" hits the spot. But be warned that it also may ignite a number of other sparks that can make reading it in public an awkward endeavor! I find it quite interesting that established fantasy author Jeremy Forsyth has ventured into an entirely new genre with this latest published work: "Step Mom: A Family Reunion Gone Wrong." Let's hope Forsyth writes more in the same hot vein.
Should The Author Jeremy Forsyth Change His Mind And Agree To Make #Step Mom-Family Reunion Gone Wrong Into A Step Mom Series Or Have More Sequels If He Meets His Target Of Selling 160 Units Of Step Mom (Wonder How He Reached That Figure? Why Not 150 Or Perhaps 169, Huh?) In The Month Of May As Promised Then He Could Consider Naming The Next In The Series As ‘Trophy Mom’?!! The Very Fact That Jeremy Forsyth Has Kept The Ending Open Towards The Gripping Climax Is An Indicator Of Things To Come As The Author Subtly Nudges The Readers That This Is Not The End Of The Road But A Brief Sleepover Before He Brings Back The Step Mom Between The Father & Son To Take Forward This Tale In Many Different Directions As This Is Too Juicy A Tale To End Abruptly As The Step Mom Is Equally Needed By Both Father & Son In Equal Measure & The African Princess Is Not Going To Let Go Of Her Trophy Wife Status Without A Tooth & Nail Fight Till It’s Foregone Conclusion. For The Readers The Guessing Game Is On And Bets Are Open On The Black Chocolate The African Princess Step Mom Because Where It Wraps Up And The Curtain Comes Down The Exciting Climax Is Left Open..Thus Giving Jeremy Forsyth The Liberty To Pick Up The Story And Take It Forward In It’s Planned Direction. The Level Of Self Confidence And The Smooth Effortless Flow With Which Jeremy Forsyth Takes Ahead This Sensuous Quickie Read It’s Hard To Believe That Step Mom Is Actually His Maiden Foray Into Erotica. If This Is His Debut Offering Then Things Only Promise To Consistently Get Better & Better With Each New Release As This Sex Triangle Stands On Crossroads In Whichever Direction Either Or All Of Them Decide To Go Shall Mushroom 3D Paths As Each Ones POV Will Have An Enticing Story To Tell The Readers In The Step Mom Bundle Should It Be Released!!!
I usually don't give shorts anything more than 2-3 stars because I hate how short they are and most of them suck. Yea, I said it. They suck. Just too damn short and slapped together with duck tape and let's hurry up to fuck the shit out of each other on page 2. Boring. I'm a book whore and need more than just a quickie. I still read quickies because you never know what your going to get and I'm so fucking glad I read this one. Jeremy gave me something I actually want to read again. I've never read a short more than once. They suck. This doesn't suck in anyway but the good slow wet kind of sucking we all wish we were doing right this minute. I don't even know anyone's name here, Jeremy didn't even give me a damn name but I don't give a shit because the ebony queens skin was all I could see, touch or feel. The boys hands all over her body was all I could picture. The ended made me want more and reminded me why quickies suck, because I need more damnit. This was so good.
Nothing is appealing to me about this book but even if it were to my taste, I would never bother to read a book the blurb of which has grammar mistakes.
I'm so glad I read this book at home, because it is super hot! I really do hope the author continues to write erotica! The details in this book will have your heart racing in excitement!
Very different from anything I've read. I think it's in the prose, the lack of names, and a sort of vague, hypnotic feeling. Because of that, I'm not sure how to rate this one so I'm leaving the stars unattached.
This is the first book by this author that I have read and I liked it, but the way it was written and a lot of the phrases just didn't make it a book I really liked. The way some of the sex scenes were written Cock should have been used instead of Penis to go with the scene. A lot of things were over described - like the author was trying to use as many different words as possible. The ending just ended and you don't know if there will be another book to see what happens. Still not a bad book.
A rakish playboy type is meeting up Reith his very rich father and his new bride at an exclusive seaside resort. While waiting for his dad and his new wife who are delayed a few days the son keeps himself amused by flirting and bedding a few trophy wives. The son meets the girl of his dreams, the African Queen and sets out to bed his conquest while he waits. Where does dad and wife fit into all of this? A surprise awaits.
I liked this! It goes quite well with some jazz playing in a coffee house tavern and a craft beer. If the reader is attracted to black women, or the black fetish, this will twist his kink!
Sexy quick read. I wish all guys had the stamina this one had. We would all live in a happier world. Sounds like this guy was handed down his playboy status from dear old dad who was quite the role model.
It was a good read, if rather quick. More sex scenes than story, but both aspects were well written and fun. A little too vanilla for me though, to be perfectly honest.
Omg, wow this book is amazing. This is a like father like son moment. I just love how the son spots his step mom without knowing and is drawn to her, but she is so into her husband. I must admit he was determined and by god when daddy dearest did an oops, his son got his hallelujah moment. I have to say that this is a short read, but will definitely keep you on you glued and wanting more.
well...An different writing, quick and exciting reading, I liked it, I recommend it, I think this story deserves development... I don't know why... but I really like this genre! ;) I appreciate a touch of reality and less "fantasy in the unfolding of the action"
