Lying

Rate this book
Melanie puts her successful career as a Riviera cat thief at risk when she chooses the wrong man to get her into a society party rich with jewels and jet-setters. The goofy and handsome Revel Reed turns out to be a lot more than just a playboy with a pirate ship, and the more outrageous, erotic, and exhibitionist his demands become, the more she needs him to maintain her cover.

In the beginning of the story I had some trouble getting into it. But when the frameworks become clear, the story quickly gets its speed.

A well-constructed story with a thief and her handler trying to make a move. That part of the story is well structured with the handler staying behind the scenes as a person to discuss ideas with to go through their plans.

And then the part of the temptation where she must discover and push her own boundaries. This part is also well structured in this story where the man she uses eventually uses her. And then the denouling ...... in a word, amazing! I really didn't see that coming.

A leaky book to read to get you through your evening and that would be a well-filled evening
Highly recommended

Lying (on the beach) was a thrilling read. It was on my "to-read" pile two weeks too long, but I'm glad that I finally had the opportunity to crack it open.

A romance, with an erotic twist and a twinge of heist-action, Lying (on the beach) kept me wrapped in the story with every page. Andrea Carlyse created an action-packed, suspenseful, and exotic script fit for the screen and the page.

I am giving this review of my own accord and would thoroughly recommend this book to lovers of romance, erotica, and action.

I received a copy of this book from voracious readers and I really enjoyed reading it. The plot was unique and kept me hooked from start to end. I 9loved the complexity of the characters especially Revel. The relationship between Melanie and Revel was different and showed lots of levels of trust. The sex scenes were amazing and incredibly stimulating. I would definitely recommend this book to people who like unique crime romances and aren't opposed to exhibitionism.

This was a hilarious, steamy, thrilling book with all kinds of unexpected twists and turns. It was also refreshingly well written and had characters that came to life, not to mention a strong, clever, witty, and capable protagonist female. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

I have a new favorite author!

Great plot, characters, and best steamy stuff lately. I think the best part however is that the characters never engage in totally out of character silliness. Nor is the plot ever twisted up into total unbelieveability.

The book was a little slow in the beginning and I almost lost interest, but I stuck it out. The characters are very captivating and interesting to say the least.
