Horrifying
I find it difficult to come up with the right words to describe this story. This author did an amazing job writing this book. It was gruesome, bloody and l couldn't put it down. Usually l do not read this type of book. I will say l look forward to the next in this series.

Excellent take on the vampire/creature trope
Very good. A fresh take on the origin of several classic monsters, and their hunters, which was interesting in itself. A great cast of characters, very relatable and felt real. The action is just right, not slow, not too fast. A great read.

Different but really good
Well I really enjoyed reading this book,it certainly was hard to put down.A different kind of monster a vampire and werewolf all rolled into one.And a kickass cop.

Pretty good
This was a freaky book but really mind blowing. A woman and her team of scientists were in a ship in the Anartica where they were checking out vent volcanos and ended up in a chamber where cold ice water dropped on each one and because a host fir a monster

Non stop action
Great book. Lots of action and. Real monsters monster. Loved it. Characters were good and story made sense. No lovey dovey mates in this book. Keep up the great work David

Great Story!
Really enjoyed the book. Great take on historical monsters. I would definitely read sequel, I want to know what happened with the other team members!

Pretty darn good
The writing is well done. There are quite a few intensely graphic scenes. One point is why they didn't go after the other potential members who were contaminated.

A different take on the supernatural. Writing was ok but the narration abrupt. Many loop holes in the plot. Abrupt ending.

So Cool
This book was truly a great read, the creature and all of it's terrifying gifts kept you on edge. I have to say, the concept was so cool!

Couldn't put it down as author writes a believable explanation for all of our mythological horrors. Hope there is a sequel.

this book is scary as hell and will give you night mares for days a real page turner if you want to be scared put it on you to read list for sure.

Excellent read! Action packed with lots of humor throughout.
Was tentative on reading a vampire story but this was definitely worth it.

Crazy scary.
This story was very hard to put Dow . I even thought about it in bed at night. I probably would have read it in one sitting but other things has to be taken care of.

This was a great book. The story was very entertaining. I loved the premise and the characters were very good. Can't wait to read more of this author!!

An infection transforms a young professor into a beautiful woman with special abilities, but she needs to kill. This was an excellent read until the finale when the self reflection, self doubts, and tears became a bit repetitive, thereby losing effectiveness. Also, toward the end, Lucy's new relationship seemed contrived with insufficient setting up. Still, I enjoyed the novel.
