J. Thomas Rompel has lived in Tucson, Arizona since 1964 and understands the threats and dangers in having a porous border. He attended the University of Arizona majoring in Speech and Communication in the College of Fine Arts. J. Thomas Rompel has owned and operated a number of different companies since the mid 1970’s. After the events of 9/11 he was involved in a business that dealt with U.S. military and law enforcement both at the local and federal level. This also included Border Patrol agents in the Tucson Sector. As a direct result of regular contact with the above over time he observed a growing trend of the United States federal government failing in their duty to protect the citizens against enemies both foreign and domestic.
I received this book/novella from the author and (likely) Bookfunnel.com in return for an honest review.
This was an exciting introduction to a character (or series of characters, based upon the ages or date ranges of the stories).
As with all reviews, this was read with a critical eye for punctuation and flow of words. I noticed a few possible errors, but nothing that detracts from the story.
This novella is worth a solid four stars out of five for a good character build.
As with everything this is merely my five cents worth.
A young man takes his schooling seriously all of a sudden when not getting into college puts him on track for the War in Vietnam. Colleges are not impressed with his overnight interest in scholastic pursuits. .
