This is a very short book about the history of electronic music. I do know anything about it. I found this book to be interesting. I also thought the cover was awesome. I give this book 4 stars because of these reasons. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about the history of electronic music and those that love music.
I also really enjoyed how the author ends this book. I was going back and forth between 4 stars and 5 stars. To folks that like this type of music, it might be 5 stars in their eyes. I received this book free from Lean Stone Book Club in exchange for an honest review.
I was a bit skeptical before opening this book as I'm hardly interested in electronic music and I find it rather, how should I say it, noisy?
But this book changed a lot of my perspectives. It gives a brief bird's eye view of the history of modern day music as well as sound art making the book a highly interesting read. A lot of effort has gone into condensing historical infomation into simplified language that makes for an easy read.
Absolutely loved the book, very interesting topic.Everything is written the easiest way possible for normal reader to understand. Interesting and insightful look into history of electronic music.
