This is a true story as told to me by the main character, Jane. It is a graphic story of both childhood and domestic abuse, which Jane has kept hidden for fifty years. Very few people have heard her story, until now.She asked me to write it in order to bring closure to the past and to help other women who might be in a similar situation to gain the courage to escape, to survive, as she has done.Jane is truly a survivor. She escaped from and survived two very violent marriages. She was forced to endure things most people could never imagine. Yet, somehow, she did survive and went on to lead a productive life."God has a plan," Jane says. "He allowed me to survive." Now that she is in her seventies, it's time to tell her story.
