Grace Under Fury is Book 4 in the Federal Bureau of Magic Cozy Paranormal Series.
I FREAKING LOVE THIS SERIES!
I love the supernatural aspect in this series and Eden Fury is one of the most well written paranormal characters I have ever read. She has an internal struggle because she is good in a good in a family that is not so good. Its in her blood to be bad, but she rejects it every step of the way.
This is a hilarious paranormal cozy mystery with demons and a romance that I am swooning for and crossing my fingers that Eden can get together with the hot Chief Fox!
The story is great and I love the secondary characters, even the ones I love to hate like Sassy.
I cannot wait for the next book in the series to see what demons Eden has to tackle.

My english review
I got with great pleasure into this new volume of the adventures of our dear Eden.
A virus seems to be spreading in the city and everyone thinks it’s an allergy or a cold. However, when someone dies, our heroine discovers very quickly that this virus has a supernatural origin and she has to hurry to find out exactly what is happening!
As always, our heroine will investigate and do her utmost to discover the truth. Eden will also draw the attention of her new neighbor, but also of some inhabitants of the city, which will not be necessarily simple.
I really appreciated that in this volume, Verity and Anton are a little more in the spotlight. However, I was very disappointed by the turn of the relationship with our very handsome Sheriff and I hope that things will change in the next volume because I disagree with that at all…
In short, a very good novel once again!

This is my least favorite of the books in this series.
I'm over the family. The constant bickering and bullying is too much. It was toned down in book 3 and came back 10-fold in book 4. It ruined my enjoyment of the book and I found myself skipping over it.
I'm also bored with the demons. I thought this one was going to be something new and different. A supernatural virus! Exciting given what we are going through right now in real life. But no, it was another demon.
*SIGH*
Then there is the whole Chief Fox thing. WTAH with that nonsense? Is this the start of some sort of triangle? I hate triangles in books and if that's where this book is headed, then I'm done. Why dangle Fox under our noses only to pull this nonsense? Why have this whole drama thing over "Oh no, he'll he in danger and can't handle the supernaturals" only to push him towards a witch? Seriously?
If humans can't see supernatural traits then how did he see the flames in her eyes? Come on!
Also, her whole martyrdom over being a fury is now annoying.
The whole plot point ticked me off and the ending was horrible.

2020 bk 337 It's allergy season. I immediately feel for every sniffling, sneezing, eyes watering resident of the town of Chipping Cheddar - until Dr. Verity discovers that there is a supernatural cause for the town's symptoms. I could only wish that there was such a cause for my allergy symptions. Agent Fury is on the case, tracking down the demon in the midst of the town's Cheddar Festival. Got to go - I feel more sneezes coming on!

Me voila de nouveau avec la suite des aventures de notre chère furie prénommée Eden, au pays du fromage ! Si vous ne l'aviez pas compris avec le nom de la ville Chipping Cheddar, nous allons nous retrouver au festival du... fromage ! Et avec les noms des rues, impossible de ne pas comprendre que l'auteur adore le fromage, bien entendu, suivez un peu ! Bref, le festival annuel approche, la famille d'Eden de toute façon n'a pas le droit d'y poser le moindre orteil (un léger souci il y a quelques années, rien de bien méchant bien sur, enfin si peu...) et le fait que tout le monde a la goutte au nez. Très sympathique ! Après le brouillard du précédent qui leur a caché le soleil, forcément il fallait bien que les organismes de nos êtres humains fatiguent, manque de vitamine D et démarre ce tome avec des éternuements. Sauf qu'il n'y a pas que les humains qui éternuent, les surnaturels aussi et ça, cela devient inquiétant. Pas autant qu'un nouveau voisin qui vient élire domicile juste à côté de la famille Fury. Mère-grand semble ne pas apprécier et va s'amuser aux dépends de ce vieil homme qui de toute manière n'est ni poli ni gentil aux premiers abords. Rien de bien alléchant au pays de "méchantville" si ce n'est que notre agent du BFM (bureau fédéral de la magie hein ^^) va devoir combiner ses talents de non utilisation de sa magie, de détrôner un démon qui est dans les parages (est-ce que par hasard elle ne les attire pas dans sa ville ??? Question à se poser...), de tenter de sauver le festival du fromage (parce que oui, si tout le monde est malade et du mal à respirer à quoi bon aller en manger ?), d'éviter un esclandre de plus avec sa famille (faut pas trop y croire pour le coup !) et de repousser royalement le chef Fox de ses avances pour ne pas lui faire du mal. Quelle vie !
Pauvre Eden, je la plains sincèrement avec tout ce qui lui tombe dessus. J'adore toujours autant sa famille, les joutes verbales avec sa mère, sa grand-mère sont épiques ! Elles ont toujours quelque chose à lui dire, de méchant bien entendu. Pas de petit ami, des poils au menton, un boulot qu'elle en fait pas correctement... Ah qu'il fait bon vivre avec elles toutes sous le même toit ! Vivement que la grande soit enfin terminée, mais cela ne semble pas pour tout de suite, car John le menuisier est malade, comme tout le monde. encore un ennuis de plus pour Eden qui en a plus qu'assez de jongler entre ses problèmes persos et ceux de la ville. Si encore il n'y avait qu'un rhume, un éternuement, mais lorsqu’un mort fait son apparition, là, ça craint ! Comme quoi on peut mourir d'un rhume ! Ou d'un éternuement, s'il est assez puissant pour causer des dégâts dans le cerveau des êtres humains... Enfin, c'est forcément un problème surnaturel, on ne meurt pas d'un nez qui coule, techniquement et donc Eden va devoir travailler une fois de plus avec le chef Fox afin de garantir la sécurité de tous. Ce fameux chef qui ne sait rien du monde surnaturel et dont Eden doit cacher un maximum d'informations. Cela devient difficile de jouer sur les deux tableaux, de ne pas trop en dévoiler avec lui. Par chance Eden a Clara et Neville qui arrivent à l'aider dans certains cas. Clara par sa bonté et son don de vision et Neville parce que c'est un nain, hum pardon un sorcier. D'ailleurs je ne comprends pas pourquoi la grand-mère d'Eden s'amuse à le traiter de nain, elles sont des sorcières aussi, alors, serait-ce juste parce que c'est un mâle ? Passons, toujours est-il que mère et mère-grand ne cesse de se moquer des autres, un passe-temps favori qui me fait toujours autant rire et me fait continuer à lire cette série.
J'ai adoré les moments passés entre Eden et son frère Anton. Il a beau être un démon de la vengeance, il tente de se soigner, en même temps avec une femme guérisseuse, hum pardon je m'égare. Il a de bonnes idées et ne semble pas convaincu du bien-fondé de la façon dont sa sœur gère mal sa relation inexistante avec le chef. D'ailleurs, cette idée fixe de le garder en retrait, l'extrait que j'ai choisi montre bien qu'elle pourrait faire comme si de rien n'était, vu qu'elle en veut pas être ce qu'elle est. Et puis un concert, un mort, voila le travail. Elle en a de la chance, pour une fois qu'elle sort dans un bar "clandestin?" un macchabée pile quand il ne faut pas. L'enquête va mener Eden une fois de plus entre les pattes du chef et de ses adorables chiens qu'il veut faire adopter par qui en veut. De quoi rendre dingue notre furie qui va devoir se démener pour trouver la solution miracle sans faire sauter le festival, ou faire brûler un stand (suivez mon regard, merci mère-grand!) L'évolution d'Eden reste la même, à savoir pas grand-chose de plus, elle stagne dans son idée de ne pas embrasser sa véritable nature, ce qui la bloque énormément dans son travail. Pour autant nous en apprenons bien plus sur les autres personnages et j'ai adoré suivre ces autres protagonistes pour mieux les découvrir, parce que l'enquête nous savons qu'un truc a débarqué dont ne sait où sans savoir qui l'a foutu là (on l'apprendra plus tard bien entendu) et hop trois coups de cuillères à pot de café et problème résolu. En fait, l'enquête se résout trop vite au final, enfin surtout la façon dont la bestiole est appréhendé en quelque sorte, mais le reste est terrible. J'adore la famille, le fait que Neville lui parle comme la Déesse qu'elle est et qu'elle déteste cela et la manière dont elle veut faire croire qu'elle n'aime pas le chef Fox plus que comme un ami. Non, mais même nous lecteurs nous voyons bien qu'elle est accro, complètement dingue de lui, encore plus qu'à son café à la crème fouettée !
J'adore aussi les passages où il faut cacher les corps... Non, mais sérieux, j'ai un grand terrain, un marais, venez, j'ai de la place et pas de voisin pour imaginer que deux vieilles femmes et un agent du FBI serait capable d'en enterrer un... Et puis Sally la belle-mère adore cuisiner (mais elle fait comment pour manger ? Et surtout réussir à ce que cela soit bon ?) et son père qui veut voir son enfant à l’œuvre... La magie c'est comme l'intimité, cela ne se montre pas pas vrai ? J'en suis morte de rire, pas physiquement bien sur ! Le chef, j'aimerais beaucoup être dans sa tête pour comprendre les rouages qui fonctionnent étrangement. Et Corinne, elle me plait bien. Une femme qui veut s'en sortir, qui n'hésite pas à demander à Eden certains points d'éclaircissement avant d'avancer sur un terrain miné je dirais. Oh et le serpent qui vit avec eux tous, brrr, lui par contre il a beau réagir comme un chien, il n'en reste pas moins un gouffre sur... bref un ventre sans fond. Heureusement qu'il est... "gentil" et que les enfants l'adore. Quant à Princesse, le chien d'enfer d'Eden il est trop chou, même s'il est capable de faire fondre tout et n'importe quoi juste avec un peu de bave. Le don de vision doit être à la fois génial et terrifiant, car ceux qui voit uniquement ce qui doit être "normal" les autres ont la vraie version. Et cela doit faire peur par moment.
En conclusion, une histoire légère sans prise de tête, une enquête surnaturelle, un festival de fromage à sauver, une famille à laquelle il faut réussir à survivre, des décisions bien trop tranchantes envers la gente masculine... Eden doit composer avec tout cela ET sa nature profonde qui je l'espère va prendre le dessus un jour ou l'autre. Dans tous les cas, j'adore la voir malmenée mentalement et je me dis que se serait drôle de la voir dans le rôle de sa mère comme dans cet épisode. Fichue manucure ! L'histoire de famille est terrible, l'humour pince-sans-rire je l'adore ! Les enquêtes sont par contre trop peu développées à mon gout, mais j'adore le reste, alors je continue, parce qu'il faut bien de tout dans ce monde. Vive les sorcières dingos et les prises de consciences qui font rire. Et je l'avoue, j'attends de voir comment Eden va survivre un jour de plus dans la ville du fromage. Qu'est-ce que l'auteur va nous sortir de son chapeau ? Affaire à suivre !

It’s getting repetitive
I was hoping for a little forward advancement with this book but it seems to be stuck in the same loop. Want Chief Fox, shouldn’t have Chief Fox. Demon creates a mess, beat the demon. I’m ready for a little mix up.

I like the series but
I really like this series but Eden is such a push over. It gets really annoying after awhile. Also her not being able to date Chief Fox is stupid... I hope the next book she gets her head out of her butt.

Eden is still resisting a relationship with Chief Fox and is upset when she thinks he’s moving on. In the meantime, a supernatural illness is sweeping through the community affecting both humans and supernaturals, though humans are affected worse. It’s up to Eden to find the source/demon before more lives are lost.

Tout d’abord je remercie la maison d’édition pour l’envoi de ce service presse.
L’histoire : Nous retrouvons Eden, notre furie préférée. Dans ce 4e tome, elle va rencontrer un problème de taille. En effet, tous les habitants de la ville commencent petit à petit à devenir malades et à se contaminer les uns les autres d’une allergie un peu bizarre. De plus, certains en meurent. Une nouvelle enquête va donc s’imposer pour notre héroïne. Elle va devoir faire en sorte que cette allergie qui semble surnaturelle ne vienne pas gâcher la fête du Fromage de Chipping Cheddar, le rendez-vous annuel à ne pas manquer. Tout cela ne se passera pas sans l’aide de l’agent Fox. J’ai adoré ce quatrième tome, j’ai trouvé quelques longueurs et j’ai préféré le précédent tome, mais j’ai quand même passé un excellent moment. L’histoire est légère, l’enquête est prenante et on a envie de savoir ce qui se passe.
Les personnages : Premièrement, Eden, je l’aime vraiment. De tome en tome, elle évolue et j’aime beaucoup sa personnalité. Elle est drôle et en même temps forte. Elle ne veut pas que ses pouvoirs la dépassent et elle ne veut donc pas s’en servir, un élément original que l’autrice a mis en place et qui fait la force de cette saga. Puis, Agent Fox, je l’adore aussi. Il est vraiment important dans l’histoire et sans lui, Eden serait certainement plus perdu. Leur histoire évolue et j’ai hâte de voir ce que l’autrice a prévu pour eux par la suite. Enfin, la famille d’Eden, fidèle à elle-même. Une grand-mère et une mère qui, dès qu’elles en ont l’occasion, essayent de l’agacer, se moquer d’elle. Elles sont terribles, mais en même temps drôles et on les adore.
La plume : Comme dans les premiers tomes, l’autrice a choisi des chapitres courts qui rythment le récit. La plume est donc fluide, légère et très agréable. Les pages se tournent vraiment rapidement.
En résumé, ce n’est pas un coup de cœur, mais j’ai adoré ma lecture. C’est une saga doudou qui nous permet de souffler entre deux grosses lectures et qui nous détend. Les personnages sont drôles, touchants et attachants. L’histoire est bien construite et cela se lit vite. Je n’ai qu’une hâte c’est de lire le cinquième tome. Je vous recommande de tenter cette saga fantastique qui en vaut la peine.
L’histoire : Nous retrouvons Eden, notre furie préférée. Dans ce 4e tome, elle va rencontrer un problème de taille. En effet, tous les habitants de la ville commencent petit à petit à devenir malades et à se contaminer les uns les autres d’une allergie un peu bizarre. De plus, certains en meurent. Une nouvelle enquête va donc s’imposer pour notre héroïne. Elle va devoir faire en sorte que cette allergie qui semble surnaturelle ne vienne pas gâcher la fête du Fromage de Chipping Cheddar, le rendez-vous annuel à ne pas manquer. Tout cela ne se passera pas sans l’aide de l’agent Fox. J’ai adoré ce quatrième tome, j’ai trouvé quelques longueurs et j’ai préféré le précédent tome, mais j’ai quand même passé un excellent moment. L’histoire est légère, l’enquête est prenante et on a envie de savoir ce qui se passe.
Les personnages : Premièrement, Eden, je l’aime vraiment. De tome en tome, elle évolue et j’aime beaucoup sa personnalité. Elle est drôle et en même temps forte. Elle ne veut pas que ses pouvoirs la dépassent et elle ne veut donc pas s’en servir, un élément original que l’autrice a mis en place et qui fait la force de cette saga. Puis, Agent Fox, je l’adore aussi. Il est vraiment important dans l’histoire et sans lui, Eden serait certainement plus perdu. Leur histoire évolue et j’ai hâte de voir ce que l’autrice a prévu pour eux par la suite. Enfin, la famille d’Eden, fidèle à elle-même. Une grand-mère et une mère qui, dès qu’elles en ont l’occasion, essayent de l’agacer, se moquer d’elle. Elles sont terribles, mais en même temps drôles et on les adore.
La plume : Comme dans les premiers tomes, l’autrice a choisi des chapitres courts qui rythment le récit. La plume est donc fluide, légère et très agréable. Les pages se tournent vraiment rapidement.
En résumé, ce n’est pas un coup de cœur, mais j’ai adoré ma lecture. C’est une saga doudou qui nous permet de souffler entre deux grosses lectures et qui nous détend. Good but ...........
Okay it is a good read but still left me disappointed that she can't follow her heart. Shame the Chief can't have some latent supernatural talent - or will he get some? A nice plot that took time to unwind to get to the truth behind the outbreak. The characters are great as always but I must admit that the way her family picks on her is starting to grate a little.
When people start falling ill and humans start dying they try to find the source of the outbreak. However their efforts are slightly dampened by their interfering neighbours. Plus the Chief has made it plain that he would be more than willing to date. Will she find the source of the outbreak? What can she do about curbing it? What will she do about the Chief?

I realize now that this was written before the pandemic
But seriously, that's even creepier and weirder.
ANYway, it's still not my favorite book. The issue with the Chief needs to be resolved one way or another because this is BS. Someone hot and sexy and good for her needs to show up or she just needs to break more rules and date him. Either way, I'm tired of the back and forth with him.
I'm also not thrilled with the family dynamics. It's wearing thin. Eden needs to grow up and put on her big girl pants and make them stop treating her like hell. It doesn't help the storyline. We've already established that she is a GOOD Fury, stop making her a woosy too.

Ma petite Furie m’avait manqué, une fois de plus elle va se retrouver à chasser un démon tout en essayant de ne pas devenir folle avec sa famille et ses sentiments pour le chef.
Eden continue son entrainement pour le BFM avec Neville, tout semble calme pour une fois dans la petite ville de Chipping Cheddar, elle aurait du se douter que c’était trop beau pour durer. Un virus semble se répandre en ville et il est surnaturel. Il a le pouvoir de tuer les humains et de mettre KO quelques temps nos surnats.
Ce qui est le plus exploité dans ce tome c’est les interactions entre Eden, sa famille, ses amis et le chef. Elle voudrait vraiment vivre une vie tranquille et quand on connait mieux ses parents et compagnie, c’est tout à fait impossible. C’est d’ailleurs le tome où sa famille est la plus présente, on les voit beaucoup.
A côté de ça son attirance pour le Chef Fox est bien représenté, mais notre furie n’ose pas dépasser ses peurs. Elle va d’ailleurs en partir et il faut vraiment que les choses évoluent dans le prochain tome, parce que la tension entre eux va me tuer.
Ce n’est pas mon tome préféré mais j’aime toujours autant la folie des personnages et leur exubérance. Ils sont à la fois drôles et aussi pas loin d’être des sociopathe, mention spéciale pour la maman et la grand mère qui sont barrées complet.
J’aime toujours autant ma lecture mais il faut vraiment qu’au niveau de la romance ça commence à se décanter.

Dans ce roman nous retrouvons Eden, qui est passée de catastrophe en catastrophe depuis son retour à Chipping Cheddar. Après les pulsions, voilà qu’un autre problème arrive en ville. Un espère de rhume touche les habitants et cela devient tracassant quand un chanteur meurt en plein concert. Eden est comme toujours ravie d’aider le Chef Fox sur cette affaire qui ne semble pas de plus naturelle. Le Festival annuel du fromage approche et les habitants (enfin ceux qui n’en sont pas exclus) espèrent que la maladie ne provoquera pas l’annulation du festival. D’où sort cette maladie ? Un nouveau démon est-il arrivé en ville ? Pourquoi certaines personnes semblent-t-elles en souffrir plus que d’autres ? Le festival sera-t-il maintenu ?
J’aime de plus en plus la direction que prend cette saga. Le fait que chaque tome représente une enquête permet de ne pas laisser grand chose en suspens entre 2 tomes. Il y a bien entendu un fil rouge à l’histoire qui représente principalement les relations entre les personnages qui évoluent bien au fil des tomes. La mère et la grand-mère d’Eden m’ont fait bien rigoler avec leurs bagarres incessantes 😂 Le moins qu’on puisse dire c’est qu’on ne s’ennuie pas avec cette saga. Chaque tome regorge de rebondissement, de nouveaux adversaires, de réparties piquantes entre les personnages et d’humour. Le parfait cocktail pour passer un excellent moment de lecture sans se prendre la tête avec un univers trop complexe.
Si vous cherchez une lecture fun, dans un univers magique et sans prise de tête je vous recommande de foncer lire cette saga !

A Terrific Series! 🥰
Don’t let the title fool you! Not that I have anything against a “Cozy Mystery Series”, but I thought this would one of those “good vibes and silly” books that was all warm and fuzzy! Not the case here, since this series has a certain “edge”. Each book has a new mystery that gets solved by the end of each book. The FMC Eden is a hoot! She is super likable, sarcastic and the star of this series. Eden gets transferred back home against her wishes to be an agent for the Federal Magical Bureau. Now she has to embrace her magic, which is something she was always reluctant to do, embrace living once again with her whacky family, who she so desperately wanted to leave behind and get reacquainted with the people of the town where she grew up. I was really pleasantly surprised by this series. What I liked most is the barely there “dark undertones” that make it that much more interesting. I have read plenty of Annabel Chase’s books. Some I liked better than others, but this one is turning out to be a real joy to read. I do have to point out that even though Eden is slowly learning to embrace who she really is, I feel like her character growth is moving too slowly. I would have wanted by now to see her being more accepting of herself and some more progress in her relationship with Chief Fox. Recommended ❤️❤️❤️ PS. I would also recommend you read “ The Crossroads Queen Series by Annabel Chase” - One of the best series out there!

There is either a bad cold/flu or massive allergies hitting the town of Chipping Cheddar but when someone dies, Dr. Verity, confirms the problem is supernatural. Unfortunately, although it is like a bad cold for the supernaturals, it is deadly for humans.
While dealing with a new obnoxious neighbour as well as the snoopy Mrs. Parsons, Eden has her work cut out. Trying to figure out the actual cause, track down the source and fix it, is keeping Eden and Neville busy. Add to that the usual conflict in her family, pining over the sheriff and the fact they shouldn’t be in a relationship, makes everything harder.
The problems and conflicts along with the usual humour make this a really fun read.
All of the books are around 200 pages so they are quick reads as well.
The characters have all got me invested in them although Eden’s mom and grandmother can be more annoying than humourous. Still great reads though.

So out of fun I decided to read some of the other reviews. Personally I love the dysfunction in the family. They are who they are. We all know grandma or mom is going to pick a fight and one of them might kill the other but they also know the other will resurrect. I think that’s how they honestly get along.
In this book a cold like flu is going around the town and it’s actually more dangerous to the humans than the supernatural. Edens nephew and niece become infected along with her mom and grandma though the grandma denies it
It is Edens job to find out how the sickness came about and of course it’s a demon.
On the other side of the story we have the whole chief fox in Eden situation she refuses to pee with him but he’s a catch so of course someone else is going to want to date him. And she is coming to the realization that she has to except her decisions.

I will say that this is the 4th book in the series, and you could just read them in any order but get way more by reading them in order. You get to watch the character move forward in her job of protecting the town from supernatural things that happen, but also in her personal life. I love her interaction with her family as they help show the a lot of humor for the book. The books flow well and even if in a way they repeat the pattern it still is interesting to see what the author will bring to the table next. I also like that main character as she has good and bad sides and struggles with being true to herself. It makes her seem more real and gives you a better connection with her. Each story builds on the one before it and I can't wait to see what the author does next.

I adore Eden!
I’m really really loving this series! And I’m loving even more some of the changes that are being presented for Eden. It’s gotta be hard though. She really is stuck. She do a love her family but I don’t know if I could take it. I completely understand the reasons she is the way she is. And how she thinks. And her choices. He family is something else. Now, I’ve opened a new outlook on her brother. He changed something for me in this book. Not just because of his wife and kids, but the things he said to Eden. I also super like Neville. And lastly, Cheif foxy! Oh my heart hurts. She got a friend and a heartbreak all in one in this one. We shall see where it goes and I can’t wait!!!

This time Fury has an unusual problem to deal with. A couple of them, actually. For one thing there's a lot of people becoming ill with flu-like symptoms but ones that can prove deadly to regular humans. Then there's her kind-of relationship with the chief of police, a relationship that could prove unworkable.
Perhaps there's also a third problem, a new coffee store that might just be the source of everything going wrong. So, it's up to her and a few others to figure out just what is going on, what is the cause and if need be actually literally chase it down.
It's an unusual story but, as with the others in this series, it's a good read.

Is it connected to the opening of Magic Bean's, Corinne LaRoux's new coffee shop and if so how can Eden resolve it without starting a war between the covens? Can Eden track down patient Zero and prove the root of the infection? It's killed one human and no one seems to have a clue.
Meanwhile Eden's family are fighting to the death as usual but when Mrs Paulson see's Eden and her grandma burying her mother she's going to need to think fast to avoid Chief Fox digging up a corpse!

In her hometown she missed guard and in active supernatural portal that attracts supernaturals from around the world. Follow along as she protects the town from supernatural bad guys evil and deals with her in early evil family who drives her nuts. Very entertaining and well written Series. Check it out

When everyone in town seems to be sick, and one of two even die of it, Eden realizes that there might just be more to the illness that she initially thought.
This book, written a year before the Covid19 issue, seems to be truly prophetic! There was a time or two when I had to do a double take on the published date of the book!
Apart from being incredibly appropriate for the time, this book is both entertaining and a little sad at times. A good addition to the series.
For fans of paranormal cozy mysteries.

I loved this book because it was entertaining and well written. Annabel is a fantastic writer in her genres. This book is another fine example of her mysteries. I am becoming a great fan of hers, even though I'm not normally a reader of this genre. As an editor, I also find it a pleasure to read books that are grammatically correct. I normally keep notes in the books I read when I find errors in content or grammatical errors. I didn't find any in this one. Nice job!

I really just burned right through this one! I guess the cheese thing is growing on me a little, and the whole milieu is starting to gel. My quibbles with it are actually quite small; the book could've used one more proofread, I think, and plotwise there were a couple of leads I was surprised weren't followed up on. But overall, thumbs up!
