These characters in this book sucked me right in! I was giving this as an Arc copy from the author. Both main characters have a lot of baggage making it extremely interesting. The hot steamy scenes between them were just that, hot and steamy!

This is k.h.kate's debut novel and wow what a debut this is ....just ....wow !!!!!
Grace knight is out for revenge ,she will stop at nothing until the monster's of her nightmares and the men responsible for her darkened soul are punished and put in the ground. After the horrific scene that unfolded at the hands of the mc grace sets out on a killing spree aimed at bringing down every club and eradicate the evil from within,what she doesnt count on is that the very men she is suppose to get rid of are not what she was expecting and when secrets from her past are exposed .....
Can the vixen get lethal?????
I absolutly loved this book i was gripped and pulled in from the start k.h.kate doesn't hang about its dark and gritty from the get go ,the storyline is fresh and exciting and the steam factor is off the charts sooooo damn hot ...Fabulously written with a brilliant set of secondary characters who i loved, i cant wait to see how these characters develop as the series continues.

There are things about new authors that intrigues me the most. But the most important is their ability to hook me up by just reading the blurb. Sometimes this can be a bust because the blurb might be intriguing but the complete story not so much. Well being a reviewer we have this type of risks. But let me just say that till today, I haven't found one book like that. And I can say that I'm a blessed girl.
All this chat just to say that this author is a first to me. When I read the blurb my curiosity was spiked and I needed to read it. And I'm so glad I did. First of all it's an MC book, my absolute favorite and then it's her premier. Uau...

Amazing plot, well written, super dark, engaging and intense.
Each chapter had the ability to hook me up and I simply couldn't put it down. One minute things were dark and the next it was so much more...
Drama, crime, punishment, madness, betrayal are very present in this book as well as loyalty, family bounds, love, despite the fact that sometimes that love was a bit to much. Lol. But in a good and twisted way.
Hot scenes were present as well as some drama and sickening scenes.
This book had the ability to make me only stop reading it once it was over. It was perfect. Dark but perfect.
Oh boy K.H. Kate... If this is your first book and the beginning of a series I can't even imagine what the rest of the books will be.

This is a dark and twisted read and I loved it. It has a great plot that will suck you in and keep you hooked right until the very end. This is a pretty violet sex filled book with plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing this is a super start to the series and the first book I have read from this author and I cannot wait for more.

The book was well written and was a first for me with this genre but the genre just doesn't speak to me.
The author clearly has a lot of talent in writing and for that reason I give her four stars. I imagine that people who enjoy this genre will really enjoy this book, it has a lot to offer and the author should be very proud of her work.

this was interesting... i really enjoy this topic of choice so for me it was an enjoyable story.. messed up.. hard to read.. but very interesting. good start to a series and cant wait to see what happens next

Great debut book by this author! Talk about baggage Grace and Lethal have that in spades. Lethal is the president of the Devil’s Shadow MC and just wants to protect his brothers. Grace just wants revenge and will stop at nothing to have it. Unbeknownst to Lethal, Grace and her partner are the ones killing MC members and Lethal just want it to stop before it affects his club. Grace goes undercover as Jade to infiltrate the Devil’s Shadow, will all parties come out on the other side unscathed? This book is dark, raw and gritty and I want more! I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

Hurt my brain.
This was a total cluster. I actually looked to see if people leaving reviews were fake, because it was so well reviewed. I mean I’m not even sure what language this is grammically. It was horrible, made no sense and I just wanted to poke my eye out. I honestly struggled with that fact that maybe it was me. I don’t like missing out on good MC reads, but I forced this waaay longer than I should have and still I was shaking my head.

Gave up around 30% I'm starting to think these MC stories are not for me they try way too hard and fail epically. When she said that women could prospect I was out I don't know much about the MC world other than being a huge fan of SOA but I just don't see how that would work. MC's are a brotherhood nowhere does it say women are accepted into the brotherhood. The story didn't interest me at all so I couldn't continue any further sorry.

Ok, so....
I received this book as an arc from the author as I love MC novels.
And this is my honest review...
If took me a while ti write this review because I really didn't know what to put. But this is what I've come up with...
Cover is great, blurb is great.
I was intrigued to say the least.
The first couple of chapters I was a little mind boggled and really had to concentrate on what i was reading.
The more I read I was like ok....
So it had me gripped and wanting to read more.
There was quite a few typos, errors and sentences that didn't quite flow as I was reading it, which was really starting to drag me down but only because the actual storyline had me hooked and so bloody intrigued so I tried my best to move past it.
In the bright side I made it to the end...
And I'm glad I did, as i was extremely excited to find out what happens, i was on the edge of my seat the whole way through.
It was dark, it was gritty and it was a whole lot of twisted.
Which is what i love in a dark MC novel.
The characters i have fall in love with and I can't wait to read more and find out what their storys are.
I given this book 4.5 stars because, and this is only my opinion to help the author...
It needs a read through and definitely needs to be re edited to give this book the credit it deserves. The actual story was fantastic and that's why I couldn't give it a low rate.

Grace has been wiping out MC’s but the surprised she uses is they expect Knight to be a man and she’s not, she uses that surprise to play games with them, messing with their minds instead of torture, she lets them think they will get her. This time she’s waited month to hear the name he gives, Lethal, president of The Devil’s Shadow MC.
Knowing it’s a bad idea that she can’t resist, she ends up with Lethal, seeing him though she wonders if his demons are the same or worse than hers.
Seeing the woman from last night he wants to know her name, Jade, and make sure everyone in the club knows who owns her pussy, seeing her empty eyes after he knows they are the same both with ghosts.
After getting an in to the club, Grace starts to realise that the men aren’t what she thought, and wonders if she can just destroy Lethal not them all. Somewhere the lines blur, Grace knows that Lethal starts to see her as more and she starts to realise that she doesn’t want to be with anyone else. Being a prospect for the Devils she knew there would be task and was prepared to do them but Lethal gives her one that is near impossible and also the start of their demise.
But things come out making Grace spiral downhill quickly and she learns that her and Lethal are more alike than she realised but will they save or destroy each other.

An MC book worth sinking your teeth into!
This dark MC book had me captivated from the first word! No love at first sight, no undying love and loyalty. Pain, torture, demons of the past and grief all play a factor for our main characters.
Let me put it this way, this is one hell of a roller coaster ride that gets you all up in your feels.
Such a well written plot, interesting characters with hidden depth. Grace is a woman on a mission and Lethal is out to protect what is his!
When these two meet, there is no shortage of drama, secrets, tension and angst.
The explosive chemistry between the two had me holding my breath at times, the anticipation had me gripped and wondering what was going to happen next!
So much to digest after reading this but I highly recommend you read this yourself. Definitely a different take to an MC book I have read. I can honestly say that this, in some parts, feels more genuine than others I have read previously. Not my favourite ending but it just makes it all the more interesting and realistic in some aspects like the world building which was fantastic.
Disclaimer: this books deals with some heavy issues like human suffering, abuse and mentions of gore. So if that turns your stomach this book is not for you.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book.

Lethal was a serious mind screw that had me singing all kinds of colorful metaphors. And it seems to be K.H. Kate's debut book, which means she's going to really mess with our heads in the future, and I, for one, cannot wait! Grace, aka Jade, is on a journey of taking down MC's for a reason, but we don't know why for a while, just that she has some huge demons. Her next mark is Lethal, the President of the Devil's Shadow MC, and it's crazy how she falls into it all. Lethal has as many demons as the woman he knows as Jade does, and he wants her desperately, and yet, he doesn't want to want her. I know, I'm just telling you what's going on in his head, and trust me, he needed to sell tickets to that crazy train. They have seriously chemistry or something, but they set things on fire during sexy times. They're also full of rage and/or secrets, and they don't make friends, so you already know. This story has twists upon twists upon twists, so my f-bombs rained down to stick like glitter in the shape of skulls on everything. And that's all that I'm saying about all of it, because frankly, I don't want to give anything away, so you'll have to experience this intensely insane ride for yourselves, as it's worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a NEW to em author and books! I appreciate my ARC from the author!
I have always loved MC romance so this was right up my lane!
This book was a wowzer! I got hooked right form the beginning, the danger,
the hard, mystery and action! The romance in this was a mix of bad boy and swoon!
Grace Knight is a strong, sassy and lethal woman who is out for revenge, not even
Vixen can stop her. Let's talk about the hero, he was very much the biker
you can imagine. Hard, broody, lethal except when it came to Grace. They share
a bond and moments. It was great read and I enjoyed it. The writing style is
a little different than what I am used to, not in a bad way but for ME only.
Otherwise I really enjoyed it, kept me engaged!

I love when the woman in a book is strong, and dangerous seeking revenge. I love that everyone expects Knight to be man and it's really Grace who is wiping out MCs.
Lethal is the president of the Devil's Shadow MC that will do anything to protect his club.
Both characters have rough past that lead them to where they are. The connection they have is clear as day, but how can that work when one wants revenge and the other wants to protect? And one is lying?

WTF just I read? Wow, I mean just wow. The main characters are borderline lunatic but they are perfect for each other. Don't believe me? Here are some lines from the book.
"Fast, hard, uncaring.
This is us. And there's no place for anyone."
"We make each other forget. We can make each other bleed. Fuck up to the point that no one can fuck us up."
And the secondary characters weren't just there because they have to, even they have a storyline and they do sound interesting. I can say that in K.H. Kate's debut, she got the dark romance thing a new name. It's compelling and not dull or too mainstream like others. The sexy scenes aren't meh, they just don't do the deed and move along, they have passions and tragedy involved, which makes them a perfect combo. I will definitely come back for the series to end.

Dark and...
I must say, I’ve enjoyed many MC Books in the past, and this one is no different.
At first I was going to give this book a low score due to the identity problem these characters had. But I continued on reading and the truth was revealed.
After meeting the Devils Shadow MC, I can come to grips with the dark and sexy chemistry that is shared between Lethal and Jade.
But in the end, it felt as if there was more to their story, and am a little curious about that. However, I enjoyed reading this book and seeing that it the first time I’ve ever read anything from this author, I’m hoping to see more from this series.

ok, I wasn't expecting this when I read the blurb. I thought it was going to be a story between an alphahole & a mary sue. Jokes on me cause it did so much better than any of my expectation. Lethal was every bit of a brooding alpha but when you got into his head, you know he's not just confused about his feelings or about the situations around him. Grace, on the other hand, can punch every Mary Sue to their end. She was strong even when I didn't expect her to, especially the scene with 'the villain'. Uff, let's not talk about that piece of shit, I simply hated him, for a good reason. I loved the other members such as Sniper, Foxy, Reaper. They made the book lighter when things turned bad. This is my first book from this author and glad to say I just found another of my favorite dark romance author. Will see how the series ends.

Ok, MC romance is not my typical go to read but I’ve been trying to challenge myself to go outside of my comfort zone and I’m so glad I did with this book. This story had everything I would expect from a MC romance but then so much more! I was sucked in from the first page and as the history of both Lethal and Jade unraveled I couldn’t peel my eyes from the pages. As I read I always felt like I was one step behind because something would happen and my jaw would hit the floor. There was so much hatred, vengeance and suspense that I felt like I was right there with them every step of the way. Oh and I have to mention the red hot naughty scenes that almost set my kindle on fire...wow, just wow! I wasn’t sure what I was going into when I started this book but now I’m ready to jump head first into the next one in the series.

Conflicted
This has to be the most wack ass book that I have read in a long time. I don’t know if I liked it, hated it, or just confused as hell that this was written. Definitely great writing makes this a strange story with a lot of topics you just don’t see. For the first two chapters I had no clue what was going on and almost stopped reading. Putting it down did not help because I was intrigued as well as confused as to what I was reading. By the time I figured out that the characters were not crazy I was hooked and I could not put it down. I still don’t know if I liked this dark MC book but over all I would recommend to you if you are looking for something different to read. Good luck, happy reading.

This is my first time reading this author, I think this book is a great start of a series and I’m looking forward to reading more of them. There is a lot of twists and turns, drama, action, mistrust, deceit, mystery, intrigue, revenge, secrets, emotional pain and romance. The two main characters in this story, Grace/Jade and Lethal have great chemistry together even though they are both carrying a lot of personal baggage around with them. It’s an interesting plot and the author has done a good job writing it. It only takes a couple of hours to read, so it’s not an overly long amount of time, but I’d say if you enjoy the MC genre to give it a go.

I really enjoyed this book. I liked her take on the MC genre. It was refreshing to see that she put women in the club rather than strippers or toys for the male characters. She made all the females just as vicious as the males. Grace was a badass female who wanted revenge for her mother and sister. You really felt for her. As for Lethal, he was the alpha male with a twisted personality, who was the way he was because of his uncle. The author made them the same enough for them to fit together. They each had their demons and their way of saving themselves.This is my first book fro K.H Kate. I'm looking forward to the next to see where things go. She gave me enough of a glimpse of Sniper to want to see where his story takes us.

This book was very hard for me to get into. There are a lot of plot twists and back story. I am still giving this 5 out of 5 stars though because it is one that I will definitely go back and reread, and I think the more that it is read than the more the reader will pick up. I did love the writing of the author though, and am excited to start the next book of this series.
The characters are pretty complex to understand, and there are a lot of twists. But for me, it all started to click in a few chapters and then I couldn't put it down. I especially loved for this story that the characters didn't meet and fall in love right away. They fought the attraction and each other throughout the entire book.
