Well I am back in the omegaverse kick.
This was a good Sunday read, light and easy fluff. I’m not going to go in a big review because.... well I just wasn’t inspired to write one.
The book itself was good for a Sunday or down time read like I mentioned. Something that doesn’t take a lot of thought and had good bones to it.

Not a bad way to start the new series!
I was happy to hear that there was going to be a spin-off for Rochdale Security. I loved this book it was slow romancing but it worked with plot of the book.
Character breakdown;
Will: loved him, loved his stoic composure and how easily it changed for his omega. He was a good alpha to read about.
Felix: hard worker, oblivious but with a big heart. He was fun as an omega!
This book was great actually enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to next ones, mostly Brock!

This book has it all! Jena has outdone herself. Welcome back to the world of Rochdale Security. Don't worry, this book stands alone. But the world she has created is vibrant and full of life. The characters are real, they don't feel "made-up". Feelings run rampant. Sexual chemistry is wild. There are loyal friends, unseen enemies, rogue agents, angst, drama, and two very stubborn men. Oh, and hot sex.
Will is helping out his former commander by playing bodyguard to his son, Felix. Seems his former commander had a secret life not even the military knew about. But while Felix doesn't taking the threat seriously, Will does. Compromises come hard. Resisting temptation is harder. In the end, they do find HEA. The road getting there is paved with lots of bumps. But together, they manage to smooth things out.
You will love this nook. I did not want to put it down. Stayed up way past me bedtime finishing it. You will feel the same!
This book contains mature themes, language, violence, and steamy MM sex. It is intended for mature, 18+ readers.

This was book 1 in the
"Rochdale Security"
series. This was a pretty good read Rochdale Security is a new security firm it is owned by four alpha makes and the first one up is Will. When he gets a call from his mentor and former commanding officer looking for protection for his son who is an omega he doesn’t hesitate to take the job. Will expected Felix to be a spoiled Omega but he wasn't he devotes his time to helping others by volunteering animal shelters and working with organizations to helping foster kids. Felix didn't take the threats serious until a man pulled a knife in him at an event. These two get close and have sex. This was a pretty good read. This book did have an error. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Way way more telling than showing and the plot was pretty poorly done. We never find out why someone is after Felix or what’s going on.

Moral Dilemma
I like Bodyguard stories. I love that this is the first of five (so far) in the Rockdale Security series. I've read and enjoyed other books by this author and look forward to this one. I started it once before, but got sidetracked and never got back to it. I'm glad because now I have four more books to now read and enjoy.
The book summary really gives you the gist of what to expect, but it doesn't tell you about how much emotions are in this slow build romance, also the added suspense and adventure of an unknown villain hence the need for a bodyguard.
The reader is also introduced to the four others that are partners in the Rockdale Security business venture Will the MC in this story, Damon, Brock, Lucas, and Reese. All best friends and formerly in the military. There is also the Office Assistant Eugene the only Omega among the bunch. Together they make up a tough team to be reckoned with if you were placed on their radar due to nefarious actions that endangered their clientele.
There are some very sweet, tender moments, and humor is laced throughout. It's great to see a very stern, macho, not having a clue Alpha coming to terms with his feelings. Not only the camaraderie that he shares with his best friends, but desire and something much stronger for a wonderfully fleshed-out Omega character.
The Omega was the second MC who turned out to be a match for Will and someone he grew to really respect and trust.
I'm about to start the Second book The Bodyguard's Relationship.

I going to start with what is one of the most romantic lines I have ever read. So simple and sweet:
“I want to be your permanent date”. See, sweet and simple and swoon worthy.
Moving on,
first couple of pages are a lot of world building and made it tough to be invested from start.
Is O Dad Army or Air Force? Yes, makes difference to me.
Meetings for Army held in home? No, not like described.
(another author using military for literary purposes but not researching for a minute—personal peeve)
Timeline is screwy: waited “so long” in less then a month. And the gala—why jump to that?
Finally, naked. Seems simple, but....A is “naked as jay bird” and noted O is same then O takes boxers off and really is naked.
Overall, sweet story. Dialogue is adequate. Timeline has issues.
I have read what I believe is author’s most recent book and it is compelling.

Another enjoyable omegaverse story from Jena Wade. Will who.owns a security firm is called to look after the son of his old army boss. Will likes order and control. That not what he gets from his latest assignment. An omega with a mind, with attitude and one he falls for very quickly. Read it and enjoy.

A story with excitement in it.
Felix and Will probably wouldn't have met if it weren't for a threat on the life of Felix. Felix didn't like the idea of a bodyguard and Will felt as though, he wasn't ready to do it. But, the chemistry between the two of them sparks the threat becomes more real.

Long time
I searched for days, reading parts of books that looked like they had promise only to roll my eyes and give the up. I didn’t have much hope when I found this series but was pleasantly surprised!

Pretty good!
Loved this!! I fell in Love with Felix right from the start. I love strong omegas and he was..strong, smart and independent..love that! Poor Will never knew what hit him. I loved this series..I can't wait to read the other guys stories!😍

Felix’s one dad had a program that people wanted and they were trying to get Felix. His dads hired Will’s security team to guard him but asked for Will specifically and they fell in love! Great book!
