The PUMPKIN HOLLOW cozy mystery series features a small town that celebrates Halloween all year round. These short mysteries can be read in just an hour or two. In CONFECTIONATELY DEAD, Mia Jordan’s sister Christy is distraught when her husband asks for a divorce. Dead bodies have been turning up in Pumpkin Hollow and the latest belongs to Ellie Adams, who is believed to have fallen down the stairs at a local party house ballroom. Mia and her boyfriend Ethan, the local detective, investigate. I continue to enjoy this series for the easy mysteries, the delicious fudge in each book and the fun characters. 5/5 stars.

"This one was such a fun read! It made for a perfect switch from the spooky Halloween vibes to cozy Christmas cheer. I was kept guessing the whole time—just when I thought I had the killer figured out, something would throw me off! I did end up suspecting the right person, but honestly, I’m suspicious of everyone, so that’s not saying much! Overall, a cute and twisty mystery that kept me on my toes."

I think this was the most complex story so far in the Pumpkin Hallow series.

Great book!!!!

I love this series.
Mia and Ethan had a couple of puzzles to figure out at the adult party house.
Whom could have done this and why.
Just before the Christmas Play and decorating the party house weeks before Christmas.
There are many suspects and they are all blaming each other and whom do you believe is telling the truth, then you have the towns people adding their two cents in.
Mia is asking questions and Ethan the patrolman/detective getting the medical facts of how it happened it is troubling when the people you know, how can you picture them doing such a thing.
But someone did, and twice.
And Mia is the one to almost pay the price for asking questions to get the right answers.
Now you have to read the book for the fill in story. You will like it.
Now it is New Year's Eve, EVERYONE HAVE A VERY BLESSED NEW YEAR🎉

Christmastime in Pumpkin Hollow wouldn't be complete without a couple murders in town, right? I was so sure I knew whodunit but I didn't guess right this time. It was fun to finally meet Mia's sister Christy although under the sad circumstances of her getting a divorce she didn't want. But she was a good sport and tried to act happy about Mia being in love with Ethan and Mia's friend Amanda setting her and Brian's wedding date.

The showdown was quick and effective. Mia did just what I'd have done, run like heck, lol. Aside from the murders, it was setting out to be a pretty darn perfect Christmas for Mia and Ethan. Can't wait to borrow the next book but I might wait till after Christmas so I can read as many seasonal books as I can in the next month.

Like all the other books in this series, I highly enjoyed this one. The author always keeps me on my toes, and is just an extremely good mystery writer. The only thing I gotta say is that Mia needs to let Ethan do his job, she is over here acting like an uncertified Nancy Drew 🤣 she might has well become a detective! Anyway, nothing but love for this book. There was SO MANY suspects to the murder and they all had reasons to kill!

Confectionately Dead (Book 6)

I love the Pumpkin Hollow Mystery series. And, book 6 is another great read. The series can be read in sequence or out of order, as a standalone. This book the killer wasn't reveled until the end and I wasn't sure who it was either. Great characters and a nice cozy mystery. Enjoy reading.

This was the first Christmas-themed Pumpkin Hollow book that I read. I enjoyed it, as I always do, but I have to admit that it was a little strange, at first, to think of Christmas in a Halloween-themed town! Of course, I'll be reading the rest of the series.

Pumpkin hollow #6

An unusual story mixing Halloween and Christmas murder but it worked. The characters are fun and the mystery was hard to solve.

good read

Keep my attention, I am really liking this series. Some of the story lines are repeated over and over again, but still enjoying the books.

This was one of my favorites. Lots of twist and turns and viable suspects. I enjoyed meeting Christy and hope to see her character develop.
