First and foremost: I read this book as a recovering porn addict with an almost non-existent love life. Just for context.

This is definitely a book to keep handy to read from it every once in a while, it has some useful emotional management techniques.

The reason why I can’t give 5 stars is not because this book being good or bad, but rather, because the book has shown me I still have a looooong way to go in recovery, especially emotionally. I know well that, if I were to have a partner right now, the relationship’s ending would be imminent simply because I am that poor at managing her triggers, and at regulating my own emotions.

Hopefully, if I ever find love someday, I will be a good partner for her, who will make her feel actually loved. Until then, this book remains a good indication for me.
