This was a book from when I was around 12 or 13 that I just did not forget. So I tracked it down on ebay and hey presto a paperback emerged. It was for the nostalgia and the book was exactly how I remembered it. So strong a message on racism and how society moulds us to view and prejudice people and how sometimes love is not enough. It was a thought provoking book a s tween and now it shall stay in my collection for the sentimental value and the lessons it taught me in life.
This book was amazing!!! It was a great way to talk about the idea of what it feels like to be discriminated. Although it had a very sad ending it had a great lesson. Everyone should read this book.
