This is one roller coaster of a ride! Lots of emotions, heat, chemistry, danger, intrigue, lies and more. It will take a mini miracle for all this to work out for them in the end! Read on!!!
Gabriel spoke to his new Lycan pack, created by turning criminals and con-men into Lycan shifters to guarantee he would have the strongest pack in the entire region. He chose the best cutthroats, thieves, and killers he could find and told them they would rule the others and run the lands as they chose. His biggest concern was that Landon Burke of the Council of Seven learns that he created a super pack with himself as the alpha. Now one of the new Lycans pointed out the lack of women. Pretending he had not forgotten, he told them he would be turning four worthy females at the next full moon so his new pack could breed – but where would he find such females?
Danica Jensen is one of the illegally turned wolves, the first of those Gabriel had taken and turned. Unlike the other women, Danica remembered the details of being turned, a secret Wes Vance had known but kept from Landon. Wes was assigned to watch over Danica and protect her from Gabriel, who was currently locked up in police custody. But Landon told him he needed to be even more vigilant because several of his pack members were still at large and desperate. With most of the women they had turned now under protection, he was concerned they would come after Danica. As they were talking, Landon got a phone call – Gabriel had escaped with the help of a woman! And Landon had strong suspicions it could have been Danica. Wes defended her – he would have known, wouldn’t he? Especially since Danica was his mate! He was going to have to confront her and find out.
Wes knew Danica’s schedule, and he was concerned when she didn’t follow her normal path to class. She never missed a class. He may have to reveal her secret to Landon if he couldn’t find her. He went to her apartment. The at-large pack members had indeed been there and left right before his arrival. He told her he knew what Gabriel had done to her. He knew she ran illegally with the pack. He also told her he knew she remembered being turned. But she was truly surprised when he said Gabriel escaped. She had not been the one to help him. She also had secrets from Gabriel. She knew Gabriel would search for her, so Wes took her from the apartment. When asked why he was helping her, he told her he was committed to protecting her – but he did not tell her that she was his true mate. Would their secrets cause their deaths? How would they get out of this dangerous situation with the pack and Gabriel now running free?
Everyone’s secrets play a big part in this story. All the loose ends are being tied up. If you’ve been reading the series, you’ll know how good the story line is and will be involved in the characters you’ve come to know. Don’t miss this chance to see how it all comes together. It’s worth reading!
Mate’s Lesson: Alpha Protectors by Juniper Hart is the fourth and possibly the final in the Alpha Protecor Series. This another well-written book by Ms. Hart with strong characters and an interesting plot. The author melds emotionally charged and danger packed scenes smoothly together for a great read. The many multiple twists and turns manage to leave room for some steamy scenes.
Danica was the first human turned by Gabriel for his new pack. Her job was to select the other humans to be turned and teach them the laws of the pack. But something went wrong, all the women except Danica somehow escaped with no memory of being turned. Then the Council of Seven made it so Gabriel's pack can't turn anyone else. Now the pack is attacking anyone, hoping for someone to turn.
Wes has been tasked in watching over Danica and keeping her safe. The Council also wants to find out what she's been doing since she was turned. Has she been helping Gabriel all this time? If she's been part of the atrocities the pack has done, she'll forfeit her life. I really enjoyed the complicated, but strong character chemistry between Wes and Danica.
This was a great five star read with a storyline that pulled me right in and kept me reading late into the night. I definitely recommend this mildly steamy book.

Gabriel is in the process of getting pack to make a move when one of his men mentions that they need women. Not wanting to lose what little control he has on his pack he agrees to find some women for them. Danika is walking across campus when Gabriel approaches her and makes her an offer. Danika's life changes in that one night she thought Gabriel was a decent man but she quickly learned otherwise. Wes knew Danika from the college so he knew something had happened when she had disappeared but he had no idea it involved his kind until it was too late. Now that it did he could finally make his move because Danika was his mate and he wasn't about to let Gabriel take her from him. Would they finally capture Gabriel and the illegal pack? Can Danika and Wes be together with how she came to be?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Gabriel is in prison so everything's fine, isn't it? Well the short answer would be NO. The long answer would be - read the book to find out. Wes knew Danica is his mate as soon as he saw her and this is before she was turned. Now he has to choose Danica or the Council of Seven......what would you do for love? Once again his series has reduced me to a jibbering wreck - I won't paint a picture of how red my eyes are or how snotty my nose is -but I needed a lot of tissues - some for the bad times and some for the ending. I hope this isn't the last of the series idk, but I do know that I have enjoyed each and every story along the way - even the way some of the Council found their mates Thank you Juniper Hart for the many, many, many tears I've cried from the start of this series and for the many times I've shouted in glee or in disbelief. I've enjoyed every second - now please say there's more? Please I am volunteering to leave a review of this book
This the fourth book in this series and has a lot of the loose threads where ti=ed up I believe it is possible the last in seres
We have known or quite a while that Gabriel and his pack are going further and further of the rails with their plans to turn women so that their pack will have mates in fact Danica was the first one they turned and the only one that they successfully turned. Now the council wants to now what she had to do with their plans and if she was involved so she has to be protected and Wes is given that job He has known for a while that Danica is his mate so he will do whatever he needs to make sure she is safe. Their will be plenty of twists and turns and suspense as we find out if Danica is an innocent pawn in this game or if Wes will loose his mate when she s punished with death if she is involved
Wes has been the one in charge of watching over Danica, the first illegally turned female by Gabriel. That, in itself, is something big but when you add in that he realizes she is his mate... well, then things get that much bigger and involved. But Danica was the first one turned and she's hiding something that could change everything for her and Wes.
I wasn't really sure how this romance was going to work out but it turns out that there is always something more to life and you just have to wait for it.💗🔥💕
This series has been amazing and I've adored everyone. I suppose this one could be a standalone but it is so much better if you read them in the order they are written.😉😍

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Mate's Lesson by Juniper Hart is (I believe) the fourth book in the Alpha Protector series. This was a quick read that was emotionally charged and action packed. While these books all contribute to the underlying theme... getting Gabriel, they have so much story packed into each read that they are almost stand alone. I really enjoyed Wes and Danica's story. There is strong character chemistry, not only between Wes and Danica, but all the characters involved in the Council of Seven. (Now There's a story I want to read!) Here is a feel good read that's perfect for a quick fix any time!

I believe this is the conclusion to the series since the story was wrapped up at the end. This one is about Danica, the last of the women turned by Gabriel and Wes, who is her fated mate and tasked to look out for her. The book is full of regret on both sides, things unsaid and misunderstood which cause pain and the connection that is found between true mates. There is danger, a fear of death and a final truth as to what happened when Gabriel created his pack. Although the conclusion wrapped everything up, I was left wishing there was a little more at the end. You definitely need to have read the other books before you read this one. This is not a standalone.

Gabriel turned Danica into a wolf shifter years ago, in an effort to expand his pack. The Council of Seven have been hunting the pack to prevent them from committing more murders and other crimes. Wes has been assigned to protect Danica - and finds that she is his fated mate. But she was turned willingly, and the penalty for that is death. Will he be able to save her? She knows that Wes is her mate and wants to be with him forever - but she is carrying Gabriel's child - will their dreams ever come true - will they be able to have a life together? Loved it!

At what point do you question unconditional loyalty? Danica was aware of what Daniel was doing. She wanted the power. It took me a long time to find anything likeable or redeemable about Danica. She didn't know Wes was keeping an eye on her. Wes started slow making assumptions that could have been fatal. He stepped up and got his act together. Their courtship such as it was, was complicated, fun in parts and intense. Does Danica redeem herself? What is behind her cautious loyalty to Daniel? Can Wes find his balance. Will Dani stand by Wes's side when its them against the world? Good story I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review
The final book of the Alpha Protectors - Wes is ordered to protect Danika. When he realises that she does remember that she had been turned and actually had willingly lived with Gabriel he is torn between duty to the Council and the strong urge to protect Danica - as she is his mate. Finally approaching her, he finds out that although willing she had not been a happy participant and he decides to lie to the Council to protect her. Finally the Council has a way to find Gabriel and to destroy him and his pack. A good finale and a much hoped for happy ending for all. This is the last book of the series and the most emotional one yet. Dani was Gabriel's first female. I didn't care for Dani and by the end, she still was not my favorite. Our Alpha, Wes, is a college professor and watching Dani from a distance. I liked Wes, but being as old as he is he made some really dumb mistakes. There is so much tension with Gabriel and the pack still loose. Gabriel's arrest should have been the end, but things are never that easy. Dani's decisions will not only affect her, but Wes too. I do wonder how well Mason is going to make out in the pack now.
Danica is the first woman Gabrielle had taken and turned. She was different than all the rest that came after her because she actually remembered what transpired. Wes was not only assigned to watch over Danica and protect her from Gabrielle but he was also her mate. Juniper Hart has brought this series to full circle. Letting all the pieces fall into place and answering all of questions we've wondered throughout the series. This one was definitely packed with action. I'm so glad I didn't miss it.
This is my first book in this series, and it makes me want to go and start at the beginning. The story flows so well, and the action and suspense that is woven into it is so so good. I hate when the heroine keeps secrets when her mate is trying to keep her safe, but there lies part of the intrigue. I was just screaming mentally for her to tell him already lol. Luckily, she didnt keep it from him for too long. But its really such a good book I hope theres more in the series soon.

Here we have 2nd under Landon whom decides it's time to let his Lifemate Danica know that she's his & not the evil rogue Gabriel, the one who turned her & the others. And we see there was more to what's been happening there & how the 3 other women couldn't remember what had happened to them.. There's a fair bit of action & what will's....

Danica was turned by Gabriel and unlike the other women he turned, she still has her memory. After escaping, she has been living a quiet life... or has she? Gabriel's pack has been creating havoc and atrocities, and Wes is tasked by the council to watch Danica and see to what extent, if any she is involved. This book has a strong plot line, incredible characters, chemistry, danger and passion. It is a steamy read. I recommend this book. It was fantastic.

As expected from Juniper Hart, this book is an engrossing page-turner. Filled with intriguing characters and a convoluted plot that keeps you guessing, this is wonderful to escape ape in to.
A detailed world of shifters forms a great backdrop for a continuing saga of characters who follow through this amazing series of books.
I hope to read more soon, as there are more interesting characters to find more about.

Wes has been keeping tabs on Danica but now with Gabriel on the loose he wants her closer. She's not convinced that Gabriel's as bad as she's been told. Finding out the truth about her pack has opened her eyes and she wants to protect Wes from the fallout when she discovers she's pregnant. Will Landon and the Council forgive her part in Gabriel's activities? Can Wes really raise the child as his own? Can Gabriel and his pack be stopped? Read this story and find out if there is a happy ending!

This is not my favorite from Ms. Hart. It is part of a series that I have only read in part, but in Mate’s Lesson I found the connections between Wes and Danica not as clear as they could have been. There is no part of the story where they met previously, so it must have been in one of the other books in the series. Wes seemed like a domineering older male and not just the alpha. Her emotions are all over the place making it hard to like her. This one is just okay for me.

Loved this conclusion to the series. The final woman that was changed by Gabriel gets her story and so many questions are answered. But of course there will be more of the council books. This one focuses on the wolves and a wolf who broke all the laws and thought he could create his own pack. But when you throw in a female things never seem to go as planned. A few really cool twists in this one. I loved how dedicated Wes always was. And Danica was a very brave character who stood up for what she thought.
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Holy shiznet!!! What gr8 addition to the Council of Seven books. Danica is one of the four human women turned by Gabriel. The only difference is that she retained her memory of the change & lived with Gabriel's pack. Wes, an Alpha from a different pack, is tasked with watching over her. And it seems she's his mate. So much is happening throughout this story, there’s deception, violence, and much more. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
An epic end to an epic series. At least I think its the end. Just...WHOA. Honestly, my mind is a little blown. Im not sure what to say that wont be considered as a Spoiler. Just know Ienjoyed this book with its twists and turns and I would recommend you read it as well as the rest of the series. Happy reading! Rating 4 stars

Wow, this is intense and totally engrossing. I was just enthralled and I really wasn’t sure what was going to happen. This is darker than the previous stories, I was hoping that Wes would get his happy ending with his mate, but for a while there I wasn’t sure that would happen. It did have a happy ending though, so I was very relieved . Great series, great book ,

I really liked this series and enjoyed the ending. I really didn't see it coming, which is something I really love. A book that kepps me guessing is always welcome on my kindle! The indecision from Danica was the only thing that got on my nerves a little, but she finally makes up her mind... Great series, I especially love the connection to the council of seven.

Wes has known Danica was his mate for ten years. Why oh why has he waited until now to claim her? He could have saved her so much inner turmoil. But I am glad everything works out just the way I wanted it to! Danica was the first to be turned but the last to finally break away from Gabriel. I am so happy for her!

Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she created. Her descriptions of the characters abilities are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

Really enjoyable read. The characters keep you guessing and surprising you. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. It makes the story flow nicely. She has secrets and he is her mate and trying to keep her safe. It would help if he knew everything. I need to go to read the rest of the series to get caught up.
