USA Today bestselling author Michelle Iannarelli is a lifetime New Yorker, living just minutes from New York City in a coastal community with her real-life prince charming. Some of her favorite things are time spent with her children, snow, coffee, and the New York Yankees. Michelle strongly believes in fate, destiny, and that life is way too short...so she decided it was now or never and wrote her first book. The rest as they say is history. If you’re a lover of sweet, sassy, sexy romance filled with suspense and a happy ending then treat yourself to one of Michelle’s books.
Grady O’Malley is a God. A gold medal swimmer. He’s gorgeous, lean and rearing to go. His dreams were all coming true until one night. What happens can change the direction of his future and he’s traumatized and scared.
Cassidy Scott loved helping her patients work through their traumas. She’s no light weight when it comes to tragedy herself. She understands her clients more than she’d like too.
They are brought together in this angsty love story. Each with their own painful experiences they are trying to heal. Their sessions soon turn into something neither of them saw coming. A hidden past comes to light and may just have them in the Deep End.
Ms. Ianarelli has written a story filled with kindness, friendship and love. Each character has their own story to tell. Her story timing is light and enjoyable. You keep wanting to turn the page to see where they are headed next.
Strength and passion fill the pages as they try to help each other. Fear and uncertainty will play a role but trust and love will rewrite their future.
Supporting characters like Jess, who is Cassidy’s best friend, provide some comic relief and lots wine to help her friends deal with what’s happened. She’s that sassy girl friend everyone hopes they have in their life.
Grady’s teammate, Weston balances out the character line up. With a cocky attitude he brings the typical professional athlete style.
Michelle gets her reader involved in her story by giving you Judy enough detail and passion that will play like a movie in your mind.
This story was fun to read, the characters are the real friends and lovers you’d hope to have in your life.
Grady is going through a really rough time coming to terms with his condition after the accident. He doesn’t want help... in comes Cassidy who is there to help, he doesn’t want her help but she doesn’t back down. She’s a caregiver and wants to break down his walls. The problem is she has some pretty big walls up herself! I couldn’t put this book down; Sexy, sweet & suspenseful...It’s definitely a must read! Thank you Michelle for another great story!
I’m always up for a good sports romance and I especially enjoy the ones outside the big five. Grady is an Olympic swimmer who becomes temporarily blind after an accident. Cassidy is one of his doctors with some trauma in her past as well. She ends up taking care of him and they grow close. She denies his advances at first but eventually they become more. But then their little bubble breaks and reality crashes in to change things. The story is written from multiple POVs including the BFFS of the h and H. It works for the most part and I enjoyed getting the side story from Wes and Jess. I had one or two tiny plot issues but otherwise I was happy with it. This is my first read by the author and I will read her again.
Grady O'Malley, gold medal swimmer and Cassidy Scott, are two new characters that I just fell in love with. Grady is a gold medal winner, a man that turns heads and his smiles melt hearts. An accident leaves him blind, and scared more like terrified. Cassidy or shall we call her Dr Scott, believes she can help him overcome the blondness and bring him back. They both have friends that will leave in stitches and hope that you too have good friends like that. Both characters have things that they need to overcome and put behind them, will they. I wont say much more about it, but beware this is a great story and the characters grow on you so much that you feel like they are your best friends.
Contemporary Romance: This book has a rather great first half, with a nice story about overcoming fears and trust. But after that… it becames a bit dull with all the silly fights and the repetitive situations. The style is pretty weird: short scenes narrated with short sentences. It helps for a fast reading, but it also makes the story rather robotic.
What?: Nothing really big, but the author doesn’t spend a lot of time explaining some situations or comments and sometimes I wasn’t sure if they really made any sense- Good thing the book keeps going on a fast pace and there is no time for overthinking them.
Sportsl, Doctors: This is a story about a Doctor named Cassidy and a swimmer called Grady. But it is also the story of Jess and West… That scion wasn’t really necessary and it breaks the momentum several times. I have no idea why the author crammed the misadventures of that other couple in the book…
Great Cover: Who is counting the abdominal muscles? I’m not. No, sir. I’m not such a creepy reviewer. No, no. Noooope. Not at all. I have barely spared a second glance to the cover. Nothing to lick there… I mean… Nothing to see there!!
4 1/2 gold medal stars!!I enjoyed this story so much I couldn't put it down. Sweet and emotional it grabbed hold of me from the beginning. I really like the author's writing style and the character development of Grady and Cassidy. It is done in such a smooth way that I felt like I was getting to know them almost in a real time sense as they got to know each other better. Their friends Jess and Weston add such a good balance to the story. Grady is a swimmer on the top of his game until an accident changes everything for him. Cassidy has been a big fan of his and can't believe when he ends up her patient. Friendship turns to more as boundaries are blurred and eventually wiped completely away as this couple learns to love, trust and heal.
Michelle Iannarelli wrote a beautiful story "Deep End." A story about two people struggling to overcome their battles one with health the other with past problems. Together they will fight and find the strength to battle and win their love for one another. "There is light at the end of the tunnel you have to fight for it."
Grady and Cassidy, not your everyday love story. Many challenges they had to overcome. This had all the feels, it mad you, laugh, cry and once or twice wanting to throw something. Made me want to keep going to see what happened next
I wasn't crazy for Cassidy. She did not seem like a doctor by any means. She violated so many ethics. Plus she was so messed up by her past that she did have so many of her own issues.
I was excited about Grady's character. His story was so interesting. It just seemed so unlikely that Cassidy became his "nurse". His family, (for the love of God) didn't leave their cruise after Grady survived a plane crash. Unbelievable.
And he leaves the Olympics once he flies there because of a whim. Wow. Weird story now. Police and security twarted by madman.....asking a lot here, Michelle.
So I loved the cover of book. I loved Grady and West and Jess. 2.5 stars.
