Salapoliisi Conan on päässyt jo 18:sta osaa ja jaksaa edelleen yllättää. Tässä osassa selvitetään kidnappausta, murhaa sekä tulipaloa ja varsinaiseen tausta tarinaan tuodaan myös uutta uuden oppilaan muodossa, joka tuntuu tietävän melko paljon Conanista. Ich mochte den Band sehr sehr gerne! Vor allem den Fall über die erste Liebe, weil Ran und Shinichi und ah mein Shipper Herz, it hurts. Außerdem ging endlich mal was bei der Main Story weiter (auch wenn ein Story Arc sehr obvious war aber egal).

Endlich gibt es neue Hinweise auf die Männer in Schwarz, aber bevor Conan alias Schinischi diesen nachgehen kann, gibt es schon wieder neue Probleme und neue Herausforderungen. Im ersten Fall wird der Mord an der Ehefrau eines bekanten Schauspielers aufgeklärt, bei dem einige Überraschungen ans Tageslicht kommen. Danach taucht die erste große Liebe von Schinischi beim ihm Zuhause auf und sucht ihn. Moment mal...erste Liebe ? Aber ist das nicht Ran ? Viel Zeit zum Rumrätseln bleibt nicht, denn es geht um Leben und Tod. Und zum Schluss bekommen Conan, Ayumi und Co eine neue Mitschülerin, die sich mehr als mysteriös verhält und allerlei Geheimnisse hat, die Conan gefährlich werden können.

Das ist der achtzehnte Band der Manga-Reihe "Detektiv Conan" und auch, wenn die Fälle in sich abgeschlossen sind, sollte man der Reihe nach lesen, da die Grundgeschichte immer wieder fortgesetzt wird. Es ist als Taschenbuch, sowie e-book erhältlich. Ein Fall wird zuende erzählt und ein weiterer geteilt. Zudem kommt noch ein abgeschlossene Fälle vor.
Meine Meinung:
Endlich gibt es neue Impulse in der Haupthandlung und es wird ziemlich gefährlich für Conan, als er den Männern in Schwarz wieder ein Stückchen mehr auf die Spur kommt. Aber natürlich gibt es weiter Fälle, die geklärt werden müssen und deren Auflösung durchaus knifflig sind. Aber Conan wäre nicht er selbst, wenn er nicht doch auf die Lösung des Rätsels kommen würde.
Mir hat dieser Band viel Spaß gemacht, aber irgendwie habe ich ein wenig die klassischen Fälle mit dem schlafenden Detektiv vermisst, weil so auch ein wenig von diesem dezenten Humor weg blieb, den ich so liebe und es doch ein paar Längen hatte, die mich irgendwie störten. Zwar kam Kogoro auch vor, aber mir persönlich zu wenig. Dennoch gefiel es mir sehr gut, weil man neue Hinweise zu der Organisation erhielt und neue Figuren eingeführt wurden, die die Hintergrundgeschichte generell ein wenig auflockerten.
Zunächst wird der Fall aus dem letzten Band zuende erzählt und man erfährt, wer der die Frau des bekannten Schauspielers Kozaburo ermordet hat. Alles scheint auf den Nachbarn Okita zu deuten, aber natürlich durchschaut Conan auch diese Täuschung und lässt Kogoro wieder einmal glänzen. Mir hat auch diese zweite Hälfte sehr gut gefallen und ich fand die Auflösung spannend und interessant. Mein Highlight bleibt aber Kogoro, der sich ziemlich zum Affen machte und echt zum Fremdschämen einlud.
Im zweiten Fall taucht in Schinischis Haus eine junge Frau auf, die behauptet, seine erste große Liebe zu sein. Aber nicht nur ich war sehr irritiert, auch Ran und Schinischi selbst wurden sehr überrascht. Sie lädt die beiden mit Sonoko zusammen zu einem Treffen ihrer Freunde ein und eigentlich könnte das richtig klasse werden, wenn Asami nicht beinahe umkommen würde. Missverständnisse, unerwiderte Gefühle und Torheit prägten diesen Fall, den ich schön dramatisch fand. Er war mir etwas zu kurz und hätte spannender sein können, aber mir gefielen die Irrungen und Wirrungen sehr.
Der letzte Fall war ziemlich lang und brachte die Hauptgeschichte ein schönes Stück voran. Eine neue Mitschülerin kommt in die Klasse von Genta, Ayumi und Mizuhiku, die absolut begeistert von Ai sind. Nur Conan merkt, dass etwas mit diesem Mädchen nicht stimmt, aber mit den darauffolgenden Ereignissen und Auflösungen hätte er nicht gerechnet. Endlich gab es neue Impulse in Sachen "Schwarze Männer" und auch, wenn ich den Anime bereits kenne, fand ich den Manga sehr spannend und interessant. Als ich die Folge gesehen habe mochte ich Ai nicht sonderlich, aber mittlerweile gefällt sie mir richtig gut und auch hier fand ich sie super, ich liebe ihre trockene Art echt.
Der Zeichenstil gefiel mir wieder sehr und ich hatte keine Probleme, dem Geschehen zu folgen. Toll war es, wie genau die Mimik der Charaktere dargestellt wurde und man immer ein gutes Gefühl für den Fall hatte.
Fazit:

Neue Charaktere, Storylines und Fälle unterhielten mich sehr gut, auch wenn es ein paar Längen gab und ich die Fälle mir Kogoro als schlafenden Detektiv ein wenig mehr bevorzuge. Really great volume, and we get introduced to a new character!
Case 1: Continuing from the last volume--we find out how the killer did the crime!
An interesting method for how the actor tried to trick Richard, but I'm not sure how well it'd work in real life xD (Though to be fair, quite a few of these cases are far fetched in one way or another, that's what makes them fun, haha.) I do like the main factor that gave away the trick though. How unlucky for the criminal in this case, though I'm sure Conan would've solved it regardless. :P
Case 2: Rachel, Serena, and Conan bump into someone from their past--Jimmy's first love?! They join her for her birthday party, and as the night draws to a close, the house becomes a blaze, with the birthday girl still inside!
It was nice to get a bit more backstory with the main characters (mostly Jimmy). The case itself was fine, though the motivations were...uh, incel-ish (psychopathic??) to say the least. But I otherwise enjoyed this case, and the twist at the end was super cute. (Especially Rachel's reaction, she is too precious.)
I'm eager to see more plot development and some Rachel/Jimmy, but I know it's gonna be...a while. ^^;
Case 3: A new student is transferred into Conan's class, but before there's time to get to know her, a case is underfoot for the Detective Kids. A fellow student's brother is missing. While investigating, things took a turn Conan did not expect.
This case goes from zero to "oh snap" pretty quickly, haha, Conan needs to solve the case in time before anything happens to the brother, and along for the ride is Ai Haibara, the new student. But there seems to be more to her than just being a regular new student.
Goodness if this case isn't proof of how important math is though x'D I couldn't keep up with that part, haha.
This case is solved, and bridges into the next one.
Case 4: We take a dive into the Black Organization. The plot thickens as more of the evils of their organization is revealed. But as Conan tries to reach out for a clue, it leads to a dead body.
I love that we finally get a little more information about the Black Organization. It's a tragic backstory, and I'm curious to know more, but I know this series likes to slowly progress the plot, so I'll have to be patient.
These last two cases definitely keep you engaged. But this does end in a cliffhanger, so we'll have to wait until the next volume to read the conclusion.

Dann lernen Ran und Sonoko eine frühere Freundin von Shinichi kennen und feiern gemeinsam mit ihr ihren Geburtstag. Doch das Geburtstagkind schläft ein und wird von ihrem Freunden im Haus zurück gelassen. Doch als diese zurück kommen, brennt das Haus und es sieht so aus, als ob es Brandstiftung war.
Der 3. Fall beschäftigt sich wieder mal mit Conans Grundschulfreundin, vor allem mit seiner neuen Klassenkameradin Ai. Seine Freunde eröffnen eine Art Detektei und nehmen Fälle ihrer Mitschüler an, einer davon beschäftigt sich mit dem Verschwinden des Bruders eines Schulfreundes, der mit einem Geldfälscherring zusammenhängt.
In einem weiteren Kapitel eröffnet ihm Ai ein dunkles Geheimnis, was zu einem neuen Fall führt.
MEINE MEINUNG: Den Fall um die Schauspielfreundin fand ich ganz nett, aber nicht herausragend.
Wirklich gerne mochte ich den Fall um das Feuer, dieser war auch wirklich lang und dementsprechend mit einigen Rätseln verbunden.
Was Ai Conan eröffnet hat, hab ich absolut nicht erwartet und fand es deshalb wirklich spannend.

Asami Uchida, manajer tim sepak bola Shinichi saat SMP datang ke rumah Shinichi saat Ran dan Sonoko sedang membersihkan rumah Shinichi. Asami ingin mengundang Shinichi ke acara ulang tahunnya. Conan, Ran, dan Sonoko akhirnya datang menggantikan Shinichi. Karena tertidur, akhirnya teman - teman Asami pergi karaoke meninggalkan Asami sendirian di villa. Villa itu pun terbakar, namun Asami berhasil diselamatkan.
Haibara Ai, mantan anggota komplotan jubah hitam, masuk ke sekolah SD Teitan dan tinggal bersama Prof. Agasa. Ai pun ikut geng detektif cilik untuk mencari kakak teman SD mereka yang diduga hilang diculik komplotan jubah hitam.
Ai mengatakan bahwa mungkin dia bisa membuat penawar racun APTX 4869 jika berhasil mendapatkan disket yang berisi bahan racun tersebut. Disket yang dimaksud ada pada dosen kakak Ai, Masami Hirota. Namun saat Prof. Agasa, Conan, dan Ai ke rumahnya, profesor telah ditemukan meninggal di kamar tertutup.
Haibara Ai, mantan anggota komplotan jubah hitam, masuk ke sekolah SD Teitan dan tinggal bersama Prof. Agasa. Ai pun ikut geng detektif cilik untuk mencari kakak teman SD mereka yang diduga hilang diculik komplotan jubah hitam.
Ai mengatakan bahwa mungkin dia bisa membuat penawar racun APTX 4869 jika berhasil mendapatkan disket yang berisi bahan racun tersebut. Disket yang dimaksud ada pada dosen kakak Ai, Masami Hirota. Volume 18 begins with Detective Conan figuring out a pretty tough case concerning three actors, who became 2 last volume because of a murder...and how one was attempting to pin it on the other. Great story and fun and I like how it's revealed to you who the killer is...but the true fun was the journey to getting him to admit it. The next story is about a mystery themed party that creates a life-threatening event. Arson is suspected by Detective Conan and away we go on the adventure to discover the reasons why. The next case it is the Junior Detectives. It involves counterfeit money and the story was a good one. Even though it ends, the next story jumps right on the Syndicate and their workings. Another good volume that has a lot of intrigue. This story does not end with this volume and leaves you with a cliff-hanger.

Finally there is some serious continuation to the main plot!!! In this volume we meet an unusual transfer student and a new lead into the secret black organisation is unveiled. We also find out about Shinichi's first love, adding some romance to the tale as well as the resolution of the murder which ended the previous volume on a cliffhanger.
But back to the new main character... Her name is Ai and she is extremely calm given her new environment. She starts befriending the Detective Boys but there's still doubts about her true intentions and her origin. Her personality brings a new dynamic to the child group and I'm keen to see her character develop!

Enfin on en apprend plus sur les hommes en noir et on voit une arrivée très importante pour la série: Ai Haibara rejoint les Petits Détectives!
Enquête 1: une actrice est retrouvée morte, la révélation était très sympa
Enquête 2: le 1er amour de Shinichi: vraiment intéressant d'en apprendre plus sur nos personnages principaux et de voir l'évolution de leur dynamique
Enquête 3: apparition de Ai et enquête des Petits Détectives. Plutôt sympathique mais surtout ce nouveau personnage fait enfin avancer l'intrigue de fond des hommes en noir
Enquête 4: encore une intrigue classique mais un enjeu de taille puisque des données sur l'Organisation pourraient être en possession de la victime

Spent entire afternoon reading this volume let's begin with the most interesting stuff!!!
1. sherry/Horiama is HERE WHOOHOOO been waiting for this like ever since the beginning.
2. The mystery behind the closed room murder is killing me (will read vol.19 ASAP)
3. Which brings us to the black coat brothers! Who have a hand in the professor murder.
4. First love case was cute an adorable read tbh at the end ☺️❤️
5. Remember the girl who died and told Conan about a little sister back in volume 4 or 5? I think she's horiama's older sister!

THE PLOT THICKENS, we now have another teenager-turned-kid in the game. And she's part of the men in black.
Sherry, aka Ai, is now a double agent who wants to fight the organisation that created this drug and murdered her sister. I always though she was a character that solely appeared in the movies so I'm bamboozled as we speak.
Now we have a new ally (or do we.) to get to the end of it.
Considering I have over 80-something volumes to get through, I doubt the end is anywhere near though lmao.

Starting with the conclusion of the actor murder, volume 18 features two compete storylines and half of another follow-up murder plot... With a key figure in the Black Organization making her first appearance, Jimmy must uncover another mystery while also deciding whether he has made a new ally or adversary... The main conflicts of the series are placed on center-stage in this volume as both Rachel and Jimmy's relationship and Black Organization are further addressed in this volume.

I wrote in the review that I thought the actor case had potential, and it did end up being interesting in the end. The argument to have what the world thinks is a brilliant detective at the scene is weird, but I guess it's supposed to be an arrogance thing.
I'm not sure how I feel about the Ai character. I'm probably leaning more towards a "no thank" in terms of having her around the story and liking her contributions. But we'll see, maybe she'll be a great addition to the character roster.

Nuovo personaggio che entra in scena e movimenta un po' tutta la storia. Anche perché, sfogliando il volumetto dopo un mese, già non ricordavo nulla dei casi propositi. A differenza, invece, di quelli del volume 17.

This volume contains Ai Haibara's first appearance and subsequently, more information on the organization is gained. But I want more of it, more insider info--while an insider is present, right? Haibara is cool, by the way.

Exemplary construction of the murders. Ran shows unexpected courage and so much naivety, even though it is obvious that Shinichi chooses her over the other suitor. AI is finally introduced. A pleasure to read these stories again.

J'ai vraiment adoré ce volume 18, les enquêtes sont cools mais c'est surtout l'arrivée du personnage de Ai que j'ai trouvé incroyable ! On progresse petit à petit dans le fil rouge de l'histoire qui a mené Conan à redevenir petit. Hâte de voir où cette nouvelle intrigue va mener !
