If you were lucky enough to meet an extraordinary person, what would you do? Would you be able to take full advantage of the opportunity?
Nat Adams was lucky enough to meet one of those people and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. She thought Shiloh Smith was just a typical guy, but she soon realized how special Shiloh really was. It didn’t take long for her to start noticing things about him. Like, the way he’s always there at the right time. As if he were able to sense things that other people couldn’t. He felt things more intensely than normal guys, and he could do things that other people weren’t capable of.
Shiloh knew Nat was special from the first time he saw her, but in his line of work, getting involved with someone wasn’t practical. Only a handful of people know the truth about Shi. He chose to keep it a secret in order to keep his younger sister out of harm’s way. When he starts spending most of his time with Nat he knows he can’t leave her out of the loop forever. What will she say when she finds out he’s a Protector? When she realizes that even if she wasn’t beautiful and innocent, even if he didn’t want to look out for her, it’s been ingrained in his body and mind since birth. He had to protect her.

Cannot wait for the next book in this series! Love the unexpected twists that this author adds to her books. In Townsend's previous two books, This Life and Goodbye Hales, I found myself quickly drawn in to the story lines and hardly able to put the books down. Protect Me is no different. Her books have a little bit of romance, action, suspense, and just enough mystery to keep you guessing til the very end. Protect Me follows right along with these features, only this story also adds a bit of an unexpected para-normal aspect which only adds to the interest of what is coming next and kept me reading and now anxiously waiting on the next book!

Toby Nathaniel Adams hates her name and the situation she is in. Six years ago she was placed in foster care after the death of her beloved Grandfather. Her current foster home is a disaster so she decides to leave a few months before she turns 18. Life on her own isn't easy but she tries to make it work. And then Shiloh shows up one morning as she is sleeping on a bench. She tells him she doesn't need help but suddenly he appears out of nowhere when she needs it the most. Will he go away or will it become something more?

I really enjoyed the story and hope that there will be more. It was descriptive writing but I was still able to read the book at a quick pace. The story seemed like something that could actually take place.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

I've been a reader of this author from her very first book and I have to say, her books just keep getting better! It's a new experience for me to read an author, from the beginning, and be able to see her experience and confidence as a writer continue to grow with each new story.
I loved Nat and Shiloh's story and I can't wait to read Macie's! I really felt drawn to Macie thru the whole book and I'm so excited to see that her story will be next! Plus, I'll also get to see how Nat is doing with all of the many changes she goes thru in Protect Me. Oh how I love a good series! Great read!

Nat has gone through hell when her own mother dumped her with her grandfather and then she lost him, left with people who did not care for her, she ran away.
Shiloh has his own powers to take care of others and Nat is the one he protects, Shiloh and his sister eventually get Nat to help them even more.
Their adventures are great, story well written , and the characters were fantastic.

Amazing book! Great Characters and story. Don't be thrown off by the paranormal aspect! This writer thought outside of the box and came up with something new and exciting! Shi and Nat's relationship is intriguing from the beginning. You'll love how it all comes together! Can't wait to see how the series continues and what is in store for Macie!

Melissa Townsend is a new to me author and what a great story to start with. While it wasn’t exactly a happily ever after ending it was an ending leaving this reader wanting just a little bit more. Well played Melissa Townsend, well played.
This story is about Nat and Shiloh. Nat is a young woman who is running from her not so good foster parents, Chelsea and Rick. Her biological parents are unknown, for now. Nat has very little money, no job, and no where to go. She is trying to start over so she returns to her hometown. Shiloh lives with his young sister, Macie. Their parents having been in an accident years before. Shiloh finds Nat alone and asleep on a bench in the city park. Shiloh has a special job as a “protector”.
“I look after people that are vulnerable and I help people that aren’t able to protect themselves.”
There are other protectors and characters throughout the story. Macie, while she is younger than Shiloh and Nat, is smart and looking for normal in the crazy world she knows. She is too young to have and protector powers just yet. Then there is Bennett. Is he good? Is he bad? I’m not really sure. He is suppose to be Shiloh’s friend but he follows the oldest known protector, Kevin. Bennett does some things in the story that just leaves me wondering where his loyalty lies. Kevin, is the oldest protector after Shiloh’s parents were mysteriously killed. Kevin doesn’t follow the rules of being a protector. He believes that killing is ok. There seems to be more to Kevin’s story as well as Bennett’s. Here’s hoping Melissa Townsend is busy writing!
I really liked this idea of protectors…kind of like guardian angels, here to help humans survival just a little bit easier. However, I am left with a few unanswered questions and am looking forward to reading more in the next book. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy adventurous read.

In preparation for the book signing, Holiday with the Belles, in Dallas next month, I am reading several new-to-me authors. This was my first book by this author. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.

Shiloh is a protector. As the book progresses, readers learn what that means, how it is dangerous, and how one becomes a protector. He is special. He finds Nat sleeping on a park bench. She has had a rough life and is homeless at 17. He watches over her and they bond. Shiloh is also responsible for his 12 year old sister, in that way making this a little of a single-dad romance as well. Both characters are likable and I found myself rooting for them. I wanted them to be successful in life and in love.

I liked the writer's style. The story contains supernatural elements, danger, and a suspense plot. Bedroom scenes are closed door, but I was able to feel the care and trust between the characters. I liked the overall plot of the protectors and their dangers and I look forward to reading more of these books in the future.

Protect Me is the first book in The Protector Series by Melissa Townsend. This is the journey of Nat and Shiloh, where things aren’t always black and white and never what they seem
. Nat’s pain seeps from the pages from the very first chapter. Losing her Grandpa, who she lived with , forced her into the Foster Care system. She decides she cannot spend a minute more at her foster home, she splits for a life on the streets.
Nat meets Shiloh at a park where she has spent the night. Their first encounter is not a smooth one. Nat rejects his offer of breakfast, but wakes up later that night at the same park, and there is Shiloh again. Nat isn’t happy at all.
Shi’s sister Macie is a different story. Nat loves her immediately. She gets a job at a coffee shop and her boss gives her an apartment, which conveniently happens to be across the hall from Shiloh and Macie. Shiloh offers her a job looking after Macie at night, while he works. He cannot help the need to protect her, always feeling her distress and fear.
Shiloh is a Protector, and is tasked with protecting those who cannot protect themselves. As he and Nat grow closer, the more Nat realises he is hiding something. Feelings are rapidly developing between them ,so Shiloh tells Nat who he really is and what he does for a “living”.
“We don’t have enough time for all the things I want to do to you, Nat,” he tells me. I can see the desire burning in his eyes.
The hunger that has been simmering between them suddenly comes to the boil. They get on well and both love Macie, so it makes perfect sense that they share this insane attraction to one another. Nat’s mother comes back into her life after many years of absence. She only wants her DNA so she can extort money from Nat’s
father. When she works out exactly who that is, of course. Nat’s Grandpa knew all about the Protectors, and thought they were the epitome of evil. He raised his daughter to believe the same thing. Nat was unaware of them. Her mother is a danger to the Protectors, so she needs to be dealt with. Shiloh has different ideas on how to deal with her than Kevin, the leader of the Protectors. So Shiloh enlists Nat’s help[ in getting rid of her mother.
While dealing with her mother, Nat finds out who her father is. This news is not good news. He is a power hungry man, who will stop at nothing to protect the Protectors, and is greedy and egotistical. Through all this, Nat becomes a Protector herself. Shiloh is not happy about this, but it a little too late for that.
Good overrules evil in the end. Nat and Shiloh move on and their relationship blooms. Nat becomes a permanent part of their lives. Now they get to their happy with each other and Macie.
What a fantastic book. A really thrilling and entertaining read. Melissa Townsend delivers a witty, gritty and highly addictive story. The characters really are a classy mix that complimented the storyline, making it believable and really hard to put down. A blend of unique quirkiness makes Protect Me a true delight to read. A thrill a minute, this book was a fantastic introduction to the Protector Series, and I look forward to Macie’s story.

What words can I use to describe Protect Me? Astounding, original and beautifully chaotic. Melissa Townsend has touched upon a genre with literary gold. She knows how to bring urban fantasy to her readers on a level that is hard to surpass. Just when you feel that we have read everything we could possibly read in this genre, Melissa drops a bomb on us, like no one else.

Shiloh is a protector. He can feel others pain and know when they need help. No matter what the problem, Shiloh is there to the rescue. He has a little sister, Macie, who absolutely adores and worships the ground that he walks on. Whatever Macie desires, Shi will make it happen. He has his sights set on a girl that he finds in the park one day, although she may not want to be on his radar.

Nat is a foster child who has been knocked around from home to home and family to family. Her mother abandoned her and she never knew her father. She lived with her Grandfather, until he passed away. Therefore, Nat has never felt like she actually quite fit in. Having had enough of her current foster parents, she ran away and decided to never look back. That left her homeless and unprotected, on a park bench. This is where Shiloh steps in. He is drawn to her...to become her protector. Nat is not a fan of his at first, not wanting or needing anything that he has to offer. She tried to push him away again and again, but Shi knew that she needed him.

Macie meets Nat at a coffee shop and knows that she wants her in her life. The nanny that she currently has isn't worth the air that Macie breathes in. Macie is immediately drawn to Nat and she will make her a part of her family, no matter the cost. Shi feels the same, but will Nat let him in? Will she finally give in and allow love into her heart? She is in total control of her destiny, but will she make the right decision?

Protect Me is a one in a million book. An absolute FIVE star read and I cannot wait for the next in the series. Treat yourself to something wonderful, and pick up your copy today!

Protect Me by Melissa Townsend is a story about two people who meet and one of them is extraordinary person. This story will show you how when one person is down on their luck there is always someone there to pick them up.

Nat Adams is a woman who is running from her foster care parents. Spending the night outside is better then spending one more minute with them. One morning she wakes up from her bench and he is sitting next to her. Who is he and why is he bothering her? She gets a job in a coffee shop and the owner offered her a place to stay. What will she do when she realizes it is him? She knows there is something different about him but what? Will she figure it out?

Shiloh Smith is a man and a big brother raising his little sister. When the sitter he hired to care for his sister doesn't work out, he is stuck with trying to find someone knew so he can go to work. His job is one a little different then the norm, he is a protector. He feels other peoples pain, it is a gift. He offers her the sitter job, will she take it? What will he do when he realizes that they live next to each other? Will he trust her enough to share his specialties?

Nat and Shiloh's story is one that will pull at your heart strings. It will make you feel compassion and excitement of waiting to find out will they finally get together. Will she accept what has been ingrained in him since birth? Will he keep her in his life?

This is my first read by Melissa Townsend. Melissa is from a rural community in southern Oklahoma who is married with one child. She is a busy mom but finds her escape in reading. She also enjoys using her joy and passion in telling her own stories. Anyone who spends time with her knows that she has a dry sense of humor and a unique perception of the around her. This is a fast paced story that will keep you wanting to learn more about these two characters. I highly recommend reading this story as I think you will fall in love with this story like I did.

Nat is a strong, fierce young woman. Ever since her grandfather died, she was bounced around the foster care system and landed with a horrible couple that didn’t care about her or each other, leading to a horrible home life. Just before her eighteenth birthday, Nat finally runs away from her awful foster parents and decides she would rather be homeless and live on a bench in her favorite park than live with them. That bench is where Nat meets Shiloh. Shiloh knew there was something different about Nat. Normal girls don’t sleep on benches and act like its normal. Shiloh feels an inherent need to protect Nat. He can feel that she’s a special girl and he can’t help but be near her, as adverse to the idea as Nat is. Shiloh has a secret that he doesn’t want to share with Nat and it makes her nervous, but somehow she trusts that he means well since he is always there when she needs him. Shiloh’s little sister, Macie, happens to meet Nat at the coffee shop where she works and they become instant friends. When Shiloh discovers they have both befriended the same girl in need, Shiloh offers Nat a job to look after Macie when Shiloh is at work. Nat’s past catches up with her in a big way, putting all of them in danger. Can Shiloh protect Nat from the danger that lingers? This book was such a nice change of pace for me. Most romance books are very detailed and mildly graphic, but this book is a sweet love story between younger people and everything is PG. Nat and Shiloh aren’t your average couple and I love how different they are. As a reader, it’s nice to have variety and this book really brings that. I love how strong Nat is despite the horrible life she had but that she still allows happiness and love into her life. She isn’t so jaded that no one can break down her walls and Shiloh truly is the man for the job! I really liked this book and can’t wait to read the next book in The Protector Series! I give “Protect Me” five stars!

Loved, loved, and loved this book!
This book grabs your heart from the first page and never stops. You feel the characters and their personalities. Nat is a young lady that has never had anything given to her or easy. She is in foster care after the death of her grandfather passes away. Nat’s foster parents don’t like her and don’t give her a thing. After many years in foster care she ran away one night a few months before her eighteenth birthday. With a little money she stole from her foster parents she is sleeping in the park on a bench and trying to get a job. After getting a few new clothes and finding a job her life starts to change. But during the night while sleeping on a park bench a young man starts to sit with her and tells her he will stay till morning. Nat tried to ignore him but he always returns. Shiloh is a young man who lost his father a few years back and is responsible for his little sister Macie. Shiloh and Macie are having a very special sibling bond. Shiloh works at night and needs a sitter for Macie but the one that is currently helping isn’t a lot of help and has no real connection to Macie. The sitter is often late picking up Macie after school. When that happens Macie sits in a diner and meets Nat. Nat and Macie becomes friends. Neither knows that the other knows Shiloh. One day Shiloh is fed up with how the sitter treats Macie and fires her. Shiloh and Macie wind up at the diner where they all realize they know each other. Shiloh then asked Nat if he will help with Macie and the bond grows between the three of them However Shiloh has secrets that he doesn’t want Nat to discover. Shiloh is a protector and that has a lot of hidden secrets and responsibilities.

PROTECT ME (The Protector Series #1)
AUTHOR: MELISSA TOWNSEND

FIVE STARS

WOW! This is the first book I have read by Melissa Townsend. PROTECT ME is awesome! Paranormal is not a genre that I typically read, but Melissa drew me in from the first page and kept me intrigued. She has a great ability to keep you in suspense through all the twists and turns she creates to build a fabulous story. Her characters are strong with powerful personalities. She magnificently combines romance, mystery and suspense for a terrific story. If you love a good mystery, grab this book today and get started on a thrilling journey. PROTECT ME IS POWERFUL!

PROTECT ME is a unique story about Nat Adams and Shiloh Smith. Nat’s mother left her with her grandfather at an early age, and his death forced her into foster care. After several years of being moved around to different foster care homes, Nat decided she couldn’t live that life anymore. The last foster family she was living with obviously didn’t care about her. They didn’t even like each other, and that was the final straw for Nat. She decided that being on her own had to be better.

Nat found herself sleeping on a park bench. This is where she and Shiloh cross paths. Shiloh is a handsome stranger that enters her life and offers her everything she needs. Nat is reluctant at first, but Shiloh always seems to be there when she needs him most. Shiloh is a protector, but he keeps it a secret. As he and Nat become closer, he realizes that he has to share his secret with her. Will she be able to deal with it?

There are numerous twists and turns, secrets and a lot of romance to be revealed in this book. I can’t wait to read Book 2.

Protect Me
By Melissa Townsend

FIVE STARS!!

This book surprised me. I mean when I say surprised me it was the kind of book where you were expecting one thing and clear out of the blue you find it is something completely and utterly different. It was a like christmas morning as I started to read this book. Not only is this an easy read but it’s the kind of read that you want to read over and over again.

This author did so amazing. This is a new author to me and for my first book by her, well I might be addicted. Call AA on me because I think I found a new author that is just right up my ally. I am a lover of paranormal and even though this book I would consider paranormal it doesn’t have vampires on it. It’s unique in that aspect. Before I start to ramble let me get to what the book is about.

Nathaniel Adam’s doesn’t have an easy life. Abandoned at a young age by a mother who wasn’t able to take care of her and father she never knew she goes from foster home to foster home. Never find a place. When she becomes unhappy with this she decides it is not for her.

Shiloh is taking care of his sister and protecting her for the things that he does for his job. He finds Nat and tries to become friends with her.

The turns that happen in the book are amazing. I mean I didn’t see it coming until it hit me straight in the face. This book has some action, love and a little bit of everything. You will fall in love with Nat, Shiloh and Macie. You will be left wanting more. There is a HEA which is amazing and what I was definitely hoping for Nat.

Have you ever wondered if there was more, a reason to keep going? Have you ever wanted to give up, pack up and leave? I have, I was never brave enough to try it on my own, but after reading this story I am also a little glad that I didn’t, you never know what can happen to you when you think no one is watching. From the first page of this wonderfully spun tale, I was hooked. So hooked, I sat and read it in a sitting, barely talking to anyone, not noticing the world around me. When I finished, I looked around and saw my world just a little differently. It helped me to put things into perspective and it was entertaining at the same time.
This is about Nat, a girl with a very unfortunate name and an even worse home life. We meet her as she is running away from the home to try to make it on her own. What she doesn’t know is Shiloh won’t let her do it on her own, he is there to protect her whether she likes it or not. Shiloh’s sister Macie may be the cutest thing on two legs and has Nat and I wrapped around her little finger. Shiloh has his work cut out for him protecting Nat though and just when it seems to work out life throws yet another curve ball at them.
This was a great easy but in depth read. I liked the fast paced flow and the story was written so well that even if it is bizarre it is believable too. This is the first book in what I hope to be a long series because I have several questions I want answered. This was a perfect introduction into this odd world of those who protect us and I think it going to be a great ride.

Nat , almost 18 , leaves her foster home in search of a better life. I understand her need to get away and I respect and admire her for her courage and determination but I can't help to be a little fearful for her at the same time .

Shiloh isn't your average guy and it's not just his gift that makes him different, it's his kindness , compassion and devotion to his little sister and those around him that are in need .

Macie, 12, little sister to Shiloh and what a sweetheart unfortunately she has Lacey , her deadbeat babysitter that helps Shiloh in her life and she doesn't see her worth but I say it's Lacey's loss !

Marty , great Nephew of "Aunty J" the coffee shop where Nat works may be a secondary character but in my eyes and heart he'll always be a hero . He showed such kindness and compassion towards Nat in a time when she needed it most . Thank you Marty , you restore my faith in mankind

Nat and Macie have developed a special friendship before they even made their connection of Shiloh . Something that really struck me and imprinted on my heart was how Nat , who had nothing , would take money from get tip jar and buy hot chocolate for little Macie, it speaks volumes of her character and her heart !

Life starts looking up for Nat and due to circumstances she is spending more time with Macie and Shiloh . Secrets are revealed and emotions are given into which adds up to a phenomenal 5 star read !

Protect Me by Melissa Townsend is the first book in The Protector Series. Nat Adams is a teenage girl who has not had the easiest of lives. She dreams of being someone special and having some security and safety in her life. She meets the enigmatic Shiloh Smith and her life takes an immediate turn for the better. Shiloh is special. He is always in the right place at the right time. He is a Protector, and Nat is fascinated by his many secrets. When people from Nat’s past put her in danger, she needs help from Shiloh to help her deal with the past before it destroys her future.
I enjoyed reading this book. The premise of Shiloh’s special Protector powers was interesting to me. Shiloh came across as a genuine character, well developed. His emotions were palpable. I felt how tortured he was because he could not share his secrets with the people around him. Nat was likeable and you empathized with all the tragedies in her life. Her strength was impressive and her ability to see all her flaws and accept them made her very realistic. The introduction of Shiloh’s younger sister was a good addition to the story and made both characters more engaging. My only criticism is the villain of the story, Kevin. His introduction into the story could have possibly been improved with a more detailed back story. I look forward to the next story in this series and will definitely watch this author to see her future work.

Nat (Toby Nathaniel Adams) is abandoned by her selfish mother and left with her grandfather. After he passes away she is sent into the foster system. She hates her name, she hates her foster parenst, who are mean and terrible people. Nat hates her life, so she runs away, thinking anything has to be better than living with her foster parents, even a park bench. This is where she meets Shiloh Smith, who she thinks is just like every other boy she knows but she soon finds out she is very, very wrong. Shiloh becomes very important to Nat and while he tries to protect her, it might just be Nat that saves Shiloh instead.
Ok so this book is not one I normally read but it was surprisingly really good. It’s the first book I’ve read from Melissa Townsend and I can’t wait for the next one.
This book grabbed me by the heartstrings from the very start and held it till the very end. It has me guessing with every page I read, had me feeling every emotion and sitting on the edge of my bed throughout the whole story.
To me the book had a kind of Twilight feeling to it but without the vampires. For those who have read Twilight you will love this book and totally get what I mean when I say the Twilight feeling.
This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very last and waiting patiently or more like impatiently for the next one.

Protect me
By Melissa Townsend

4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first novel I have read from this author and I'm very happy to have found it, and looking forward to more books to come.

We meet Toby Nathaniel Adams or Nat Adams as she calls herself for her whole life, who is a lost 17 year old girl who has been placed in temporary home since her only loving family member her grandfather died 6 years ago. She spent the last year and a half living with Chelsea and Rick she thought she would be loved by them but that is not the case after three months being with them. Sick of no love and feeling warm and clean. Nat runs away and starts staying at a local park and that's where we meet Shiloh Smith, he was drawn to her and he wants nothing more to look after her.

A lot of action happens heading to the end of the book, does anything happen with Nat and Shiloh with their sexual tension between them both?

“He's talking but I'm not listening, I'm staring. At him. Without a shirt on”

There was a lot of twist and turns with the plot that you wouldn't see coming. There is a second book and I'm looking forward to see what is happening and where they are at. But I will let you keep guessing.

This is a different kind of story for me. I don’t usually read books like this. It was a well written book and a neat story. Nat lives on a bench in the part and has ran away from her foster home. She stole some money from her foster parents to buy a few clothes and food. She sleeps on a bench and is trying to find a job and wants to get her GED. She meets a guy named Shiloh that seems to want to help her but she is reluctant. She finally gets a job at a coffee shop and meets a little girl that becomes her best friend. Come to find out the little girl is Shiloh’s little sister that he takes care of. She ends up becoming the babysitter for Macie and they have a great relationship. So Nat works at the coffee shop during the day and tends to Macie at night while Shiloh is out protecting. She does not know what he really does and it takes a while before he explains it to her. She ends up meeting her mom and still is not sure of who her dad is. Nat is falling for Shiloh and he is beginning to fall for her as well. It is a good love story and a neat book. The relationship between the two just falls in place and they all get along great. I think the author did a good job writing this type of book.

Fantastic

4 stars

Protect Me by Melissa Townsend

Before I get started just want to stay what an absolute page turner this read is and I'm very excited to see what book 2 will hold.

So let's gets getting….

Toby Nathaniel Adams aka Nat is a seventeen year old who's mother abandoned her to her grandfather and he left Nat six years ago. She's all alone and now she's runaway from her Foster home. Alone cold and no where to go she ends up on a bench in a park and wakes to a handsome stranger Shiloh.

Shiloh has a job to do, and right now that is Nat. He is drawn to her for only reasons he understand and won't explain to her, sooner or later he will have to tell her why he feel things intensely, why he's always there when she's needed. Shiloh will have to tell her what he is.

Throughout this story you see how strongly the relationship develops between Nat, Shiloh and Macie. Will it all work out in the end?

Melissa has a great writing style, you feel so much emotion reading these characters; I read this in one day, couldn't put the thing down. Loved how it was a nice steady pace, never slowed, never bored. Hopeful for a full on packed series from Melissa.

Shiloh meets Nat when he sees her asleep on a park bench. Little does Nat know that Shiloh is there to protect her. Through the course of the book, you meet some wonderful characters and some unsavory characters as well. Shiloh has known what he was all of his life, and he also knows that he has to keep quiet about it in order to protect him and his little sister. Nat has no clue who she is due to being put into foster care at a very young age when her grandfather died. In this book she does find who her mother and father both are, and little does she know neither one are one of those amazing characters that I mentioned earlier. Macie, Shiloh’s little sister is an amazing little girl who loves Nat from the first time she meets her. Watching and Shiloh helps Nat and vice versa through this book is amazing, also watching them fall in love is a great thing. They make the perfect pair and the perfect team when it is needed. There are a few different hurdles that they have to get over but they do get past them and come out the other side stronger. I hope that if you take the time to read this book that you love it as much as I did.

I was really excited to read this book. I loved the paranormal perspective of this book and it truly did have so much promise. The characters were likable enough, but I had no feels. I couldn't connect with any characters. I barely even felt bad for Nat due to just the lack of character building. The writing was just weak. The dialogue and actions felt forced. It was very "tell" not "show." It made the writing feel choppy. I hope to see this author improve because the storyline had so much potential, but the actual writing just fell very short.

Having enjoyed Melissa's two other novels, I naturally looked forward to her
next one. I haven't read too many Fantasy genre, so I was worried that it wouldn't be a good read for me. I was so wrong. This book drew me in and left me wanting more. So many books are predictable, yet this one kept me guessing. Great character development sparked my curiosity about their future. A new twist on angels among us. I can't wait for the sequel.

Macie, 12, little sister to Shiloh and what a sweetheart
