About the author

Krista Dunk is an author, speaker, the project director for two book publishing companies, and founder of Author Acceleration Academy. A teacher at heart, Krista has written 12 books so far. Her first book, Step Out and Take Your Place, was published in early 2011. Along with her first book, its companion resources and Author Acceleration, she has also published a devotional, the Ninja Kitty children’s book series, as well as books in The Abundance Plan book series. Her most recent book is a collaboration with 20 other authors called Broken Chapters. Her next project is Curiosity Adventures, an impactful fiction series.

As a child and young adult who struggled with timidity, Krista now finds herself speaking and training in front of audiences large and small. She is passionate about helping people get a vision for how their life could look and to step out into it. Working with authors since 2012 has been one of Krista’s greatest joys.

Krista and Chris, her husband of 30 years, live in Washington State and have two amazing young-adult children.

Now I Know Why Cats Sleep So Much

I love this fresh new twist on why cats sleep so much.
The interaction Ninja Kitty has with a character that should be her enemy.
Don't under estimate this kitty. Can't wait for more backyard adventures.

Animals and action

My grandson enjoyed the story and illustrations very much. I will be buying this when it comes out in hard back. His favorite part was the ninja moves and dog toys.

Super cute

Such great illustrations so full of bright color! Definitely perfect for kids learning to read. Can’t wait to get one for my nieces!

As the author of Ninja Kitty: Neighborhood Defender, this book originated from bedtime stories we would tell our two children. Why does our cat sleep all day? I wonder what our cat does at night, while we sleep? Could she be defending the neighborhood from bad guys?

Ninja Kitty is a super fun book for children ages 3-8. Whiskers, AKA Ninja Kitty, recruits her neighborhood friends, Max, Sparky and Big Bad Joe, to help get rid of the terrible toads...who always make a mess at the neighborhood playground.

I've had the privilege to read Ninja Kitty at several local schools, where the kids were excited to hear about Ninja Kitty's nighttime adventures. For any child who loves their pet and a good hero adventure, this book will surely deliver!
