First allow me to point out this book contains 10 wonderful short stories written by the author it can be read individual @ any time because they are all stand alones. And they were all pleasing in their on way. You see I'm quite fascinated by this author work because no matter what the surrounding plot entails I'm always left wanting more, as I do with this book mention. A friend once commented after borrowing this book from me, " But they are all so short and I can't decide which is my favorite !'

RED HOT COLLECTION
This is a collection of ten erotic tales, that are really hot and sexy. I will not go into each story's synopsis, suffice to say these are all about men who are determined to get the woman of their dreams by any means.
I am a big fan of this authors short stories. They are always well written, with plenty of detail, and really hot sex scenes. I really like the heroes they are all strong alphas dominant, but with a touch of vulnerability.

I loved this great series of short stories by the awesome J.S. Scott. These were all stories about men who would do anything they can to get with the women who they desire. This is a great series of stories everyone should read.

There’s nothing like a good quickie!
If you’re in need of a quick HOT read, this is for you! I rarely find short stories satisfying, J.S. Scott was able to develop characters, relationships, and situations quite thoroughly enough to pull me in and satisfy!

All stories are very much the same thing. It was hot for the first, maybe the second, then I just kept reading because it was short and it was there.

I'm not certain I will base all the author's work on a collection of short-stories. I could see that Ms. Scott can write a steamy story, so maybe with a longer book, she would have time for a better plot.
I got the impression those stories were published together exactly because they all had the same theme.

Although I did read this whole collection and the sex was hot, most all the encounters came about by means of the man blackmailing the woman. I find this stupid. The men were all desperate, jackasses and there is nothing sexy about that.

Great but too short and a whole lot of sex
Really enjoyed this very very short story but with not many pages there is a lot of sex and not much story. Enjoyed but would love to have a full book
Book 2
The millionaire and the librarian
Tory is a librarian and after doing a story time for a group of kids she find a wallet of the most sexiest millionaire who brings his nephew every week.
When she rings Luke he tells her to bring it to his house but when she gets there he accuses her of stealing money but instead of paying money back he want sex and a lot more.

I usually don’t like professors student play but even I have to admit this short story is sexy as hell.
Heather is a under grad that helps Dr Alex Hanson but a tiring day she sit in down and finds a very pornographic magazine that makes her very hot and flustered and that’s how Professor Alex finds her.

Jenna is heartbroken her ex is marrying a tall bleach blonde bimbo with a trust fund but when her step-brother finds her crying he calls in a forfeit like they did when they were children only difference is he wants naughty sex with her instead.
Very hot even though in not actually fond of the step sibling to lovers storyline but this collection gives you every fantasy.

Repetitive, but not bad.
This is a compilation of 10 stories in J.S. Scott's The Pleasure of His Punishment series. All the stories in this collection had pretty much the same set-up -- woman is blackmailed into submitting to an Alpha male (though, would Alphas resort to blackmail to get a woman in bed?). However, by the end each interlude, the attraction and the mind-blowing sex actually blow any thoughts of rape?? by blackmail out of the women's minds (not that rape is ever mentioned, but doesn't no mean no?), so I guess it's okay??? The situations that bring on the blackmail are all pretty stupid (e.g., you trespassed, but I won't call the cops if you have sex with me) and, other than this is fantasy/erotica, I can't believe any of these intelligent women didn't call the Alpha's bluff and just walk away, especially after saying "no" several times. But, their passions take over, of course, and all acquiesced willingly (so, I guess, not really rape).
Of the 10 short stories included, only three stand out as different to me because the women in these stories, although hesitant, were willing participants from the start. These three (Secret Desires of the Counselor, A Forfeit for a Cowboy, and Wicked Romance of a Vampire) get this two stars (30% of the book good = 30% of 5 stars, 1.5). I'd read those stories again. Another star because, though repetitive, I enjoyed a couple of the others, can't say I hated the rest -- even with the questionable permissions -- and all get a happy ending. This comes to 2.5 stars, rounded to 3 because it was better than okay -- and because I really like J.S. Scott.

Good short novellas
These were good, short, entertaining erotic novellas. My biggest complaint has to be the grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors in the novellas. They really distract from the stories. I also felt that they were all very similar to each other. Almost every male main character was blonde haired and blue eyed. Almost all of the stories all had the same pace to them, the same general plot. There were a few stories that were different from the others but only one or two. Over all, though, this was a great anthology of hot and sexy erotic romances.

Undoubtedly, the author, our J. S., has walked a long journey since these 2012 stories up to her current deliveries. I'm certain in such short stories you cannot develop the characters, so each story is such alike the next one you feel there's only change in names and places. This way of writing, fortunately for us, remains way behind.

It's called erotica... If dubious consent is your thing
I read the first 4 stories and couldn't stomach any more. Too much "blackmail" that was too close to rape for my tastes. First thing by J. S. Scott that I have really disliked. Maybe the remaining stories are better, but I didn't want to find out. Flat out NO for me.
