This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha make and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

In the 5th book in this series, we get the story of Zann and Sasha. I loved how this story made me feel. Sasha has a bounty on her head and she escapes Earth. When Zann sees her, he's sure this is his mate. The drama, intrigue and suspense in this story kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. Each book is better and I'm really looking forward to more stories in this series!

This is the fifth story in the Vaxxlian Mates series! We finally get to hear about Zann! He is a hardened warrior who is unsure if he will be able to be a good mate to a human female. Sasha is a human who is in hiding for a crime she committed! Sasha is feisty, strong , and maybe a weee bit willful. I love how the story comes full circle! Sue Lyndon does a great job of wrapping everything up! A sweet, quick read that I would totally recommend!

This is an OK sci-fi alien romance, but it is just a bit too short to have enough character development. I needed more backstory on both Zann and Sasha.
I also thought it was a bit unlikely that Sasha would have fallen for Zann as quickly as she did. She might have been grateful that he was going to help her, but I think she would still have been angry at his insistence that she was his mate (even though she had never seen him before!). I think it would have taken her much longer than it did for her to trust him enough to fall for him. So the romance was pretty unbelievable to me.
One thing that really bothers me about all the books in this series, though, is the idea that the Vaxxlians have that it is OK to take a woman against her will. Some of the books even describe Vaxxlian men arriving home with their "mates" kicking and screaming. That doesn't sound like a mate to me -- move like a slave. It doesn't matter how good the woman is treated. If she is there against her will, she is a slave.
If you are looking for a really quick sci-fi alien romance, with some steamy scenes -- and don't mind a lack of character development, and talk of women being taken as mates without their consent, this is an OK choice.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.

Amazing series! Each book gets better and better!! This is the fifth book in the series - Vaxxlian Mates and each story is impressive and fantastic. I look forward to each book and NONE have disappointed me! Each book has its own story and each story is well written, the characters have depth, they are loaded with adventure, danger, romance and much more! I LOVE all of them!

Sasha as an Ambassador for Earth but she is in hiding from those who believe she killed someone. She is innocent and wants to clear her name. Zann has fought enough evil. His brothers have already settled down on New Vaxx with human mates. He has found his human female but first he has to convince her that she is truly his mate.
You have to feel for Sasha. She is on the run but we all know she couldn’t have killed anyone. She was defending herself. At first she thinks Zann is there to kill her but she soon learns that is not the case. These two, like the brothers, are well matched. They both had to learn to trust. But for Sasha she needed to let the past go. Zann had to accept that he could have a mate and be loved. Sure he was very protective but that is all the Vaxxlians. I wanted to cry at the unfairness at times. But Zann was determined. I like that.

Our first contractual Vaxxlian mating. Sasha finds herself in a difficult situation and along comes an elite Vaxxlian warrior to help her out, as long as she helps him out. Zann needs a human mate before he can head home to New Vaxx and his scans bring him to Sasha. While this story does not have the action of some of the previous installments, it has a more diplomatic flare to it.
I have enjoyed all the Vaxxlian books. But fair warning: these are short stories and there is not a lot of room for major character development, lengthy twisted plots, or gradual relationship building. They are short, over-protective alpha alien protecting and pleasuring their mate, while trying to rebuild their civilization

I have been looking forward to reading this book, and i can tell you that it didnt at all disappoint me, in fact i thought it was really great for the oldest brother.
Sasha a former ambassador has a bounty on her head for killing a man, taking refuge and promised safe passage on Hoshhha. This is where Vaxxlian Warrior Zann finds her, and takes her to his ship. Zann is like none other Sasha has seen before, so when Zann suggests a contract, that says she will be his mate and in return he will clear her name she takes the opportunity and agrees. These two are truely destined for each other, but can Zann truely protect Sasha and be true to his word and keep her safe.

Zann is a battle hardened warrior with a task of finding a human female to mate with and have children to help repopulate his people! Sasha is an ambassador from Earth in hiding because there is a bounty on her head for killing a prince that was attacking her! They strike a deal she will become his mate if he can keep her safe til the bounty is removed! It's not easy to get to their happy! I really love that this author gives you an epilogue and let's you catch up with the other brothers and their families! I read all her books in one sitting can't put down and still want more!

Zann grew to love her as well. But the truth consuel voided their mating contract without asking her. So, Zann had to get creative to get back to her. She had missed him terribly and mourned their separation. But she got her happily ever after after all. This book follows along with the other ones, each with a different , but beautiful love story for the Vaxxlian people. I can't wait for the next one. Thank you, Sue Mercury!

I'm always smiling at the end of these stories
Another thoroughly enjoyable Vaxxlian mate story. I can't pinpoint the exact reason I like theses so much. It could be the romance, the steamy love, the promise they hold or the hot, alpha who sweeps the woman off her feet. Not sure. I just know I like them and at the end of every one I'm smiling ear to ear at the fairytale of it all. Sasha and Zann may have entered this union as a business arrangement but hearts took over and it became so much more. Love getting lost in the stars for just a bit.

This was another fantastic story by Sue Mercury. I love this series. I couldn't put it down.

Loved this story! Sasha has a bounty on her head having killed a Prince. It was in self defense as he was attempting to rape her, but with no one as witness she goes to a friendly planet for exile. Once Zann kills the alien that started the war that destroyed his homeworld, he goes looking for a human to be his mate and scanning finds Sasha. He wants to claim her as his mate. She wants to clear her name. He vows to protect her and she agrees to be his mate... along the way they fall for each other.

Some days you can’t help but look at your life and think, the silver lining is, I’m already at rock bottom, nothing worse can happen. For Sasha, she gets one heck of a surprise when life tosses Zann at her.
I loved that Zann wasn’t a dumb jock. He listened, he thought, he cared, and even when you were tempted to accuse him of going “all caveman” his heart of gold would shine through and remind you why the reader fell in love with him along with Sasha.

I really like all of the Vaxxlians. I think they are in a pretty crappy place, but they are doing what they can to make it better. And if it benefits the women that they are taking for mates? So much the better.
Zann and Sasha's story tied me up in knots a couple of times, but it's not because of anything that they did. It was because of actions of outsiders and how they acted and reacted. That made me really mad.
I hope that we can get at least updates on these guys, if not more set in the world.

I just love a strong man and I don't care that he is an alien. This story had so much going on that it kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering if the emotions that they were feeling would turn into something else.

Book five of the Vaxxlian Mates series a story that grabbed my interest from the beginning. Ambassador Sasha Embers has a bounty on her because of something she is being blamed for and did not do. She wants to clear her name so when Vaxxlian warrior Zann makes a deal with her that if they marry he will help clear her name. A decent read. This is the story of Zann and Sasha. Earth women are the only species compatible with the Vaxxlian warriors. He finds Sasha and offers to help her prove her innocence in the death of a royal prince of some planet. He was not innocent (the royal). Anyway, the story was good. I love both Zann and Sasha. Zann was worried that his life as a warrior would leave him incapable of loving his mate and Sasha had things in her past shaping her present. They both needed to take a leap of faith. Nothing is ever straightforward! Also the chemistry between them was massive!

Alien Hunter
Sue Mercury has written an amazing story and has great characters that seems to match each other perfectly. As in most Alien stories there's usually some kind of intergalactic turmoil between planets, but Me Mercury has managed to save all the good ones and returned them to their mates.

This was a feel good book for sure.
I was smiling the entire time.
Well until I wasnt...
But that was just a twist in the plot.
I loved Zann and Sasha. They were wonderful together.
I would highly recommend this book.
I do hope there is more to come for the Vaxxlians.
