The first thing I appreciated about this book upon receiving it was the author's wonderful sense of humor in selecting the trim style — tall and narrow. The book itself is short, but full of information and lots of great photos. I really liked the inclusion of the full text of a couple of really old illustrated pamphlets that were published on how silk top hats and opera hats are made.
