This is the 2nd book in this series and it’s the continuation of Anaya’s story. That night the Seraph left Anaya couldn’t dream she couldn’t tell what was real or fantasy anymore and Anaya felt that she was in the darkness she needed help to be able to dream or Anaya just might go insane. Today is Anaya’s big day she’s going to graduate and get that PHD at the end of her name but she feels so empty she has no emotion and that’s how Anaya has gotten to where she is now and she doesn’t like it. While Anaya was standing in line she heard a voice behind her it sounded like him it was him the Seraph was back and Anaya felt like crying and she was so angry she told him that she is a husk of a person but he said that he had to leave because his feelings for her clouded his judgment and he had rules but he didn’t know that leaving her would leave her emotionless. Anaya had tears running down her cheeks at least now she can feel. Wow what a fantastic story it’s an amazing series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Wow what a second book. Just has good as the first. Storyline continues to be great and the characters are superb once again. Another book not to be missed . I recieved a free copy and this is my honest review

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Sylas is still looking over Anaya every time she goes to sleep he always appears. Sylas seems to get stronger.

We are back five years later after the first book left off in Anaya's life. The Seraph left her at the end of the first book. She has not been the same, just a shell. She is receiving her doctorate in psychology. Her friends Andrew and Elizbeth married and had a son. Her other friend hooked up with the guy she met at the club in book one and are still together. Finally, the Seraph comes back to Anaya...only for the two of them to break all the rules! His two partners that rule over all send him to another Earth for his punishment. Anaya tried to start a new life...she just cannot function without him their love is so deep! Enter what is known as Chaos and he offers her a deal she cannot refuse! Anaya will stop at nothing to find her true love and mate! She will bargain with the devil to do it! But, once she discovers him what will happen next? Will his co-rulers, the Vampyre and Human come to split them apart again? What strange worlds will she enter? New powers come over her...what are they? Will they ever have a chance to stay together? What is the Seraph giving up to be with her? This second installment has a lot of STEAMY scenes! It is an incredible journey in the next chapter of their forbidden love story! Now, I am impatiently waiting for the third and final book in the series to find out what happens to these two! I received this book for free and am leaving a voluntary review!

ONE EXCITING BOOT STOMPING RIDE!!!
Hell hath no fury! When hard decisions have to be made, put on your stomping boots and and get to kickin'. You are not going to believe how this installment plays out. Perilous drama, angst, suspense and speculation along with all that tension and intrigue blaze all of those jagged pieces together smoothly. Throw in a little danger and you have one prize winning nailbiting delight. A throng of startling circumstances and a slew of surprising events blast those churning emotions forward in this thrilling storyline and gripping plot. The characters are genuine, tangible and realistic with such depth and qualities that blend and flow fluidly. Fantastic job Atom, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

Descension is the second book in the Rule of Three series by Adom Sampler. It continues the story of a Seraph who has fallen in love with a human, which is breaking the laws of the three and as punishment the Seraph, Sylas is sent to another dimension, breaking both of their hearts. So what will they do? Descension has nonstop action, suspense, danger, and enticing chemistry that keeps the reader enthralled. This is definitely a must-read! But don’t forget to read book 1, “The Seraph's Fate” first!!

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!

Being part of a series I am very comfortable giving this 5 stars while being undecided with my feelings for it. Part 2 was very intense. There is a lot of obsession, loss and doubt. It’s very good.
