Looking for Jon: Quantum Entanglement of the Afterlife Veil

Rate this book
What lies beyond death..? Does consciousness survive or does everything we know end here? Following the death of her son Jon, author Marian Carter takes a deep dive into the world of theoretical physics, quantum entanglement, Einstein's spooky action at a distance, quantum consciousness, Niels Bohr on subatomic structure, and Schrodinger’s equation. Take a journey into the metaphysical world of near-death experiences, the phenomenon of terminal lucidity, and eerily accurate accounts of past-life experiences. In this world of boundless mysteries, there has to be more than this life as we know it—or is the soul constrained by the bounds of a physical body? Interwoven with scientific fact, theory, and anecdotal evidence, Looking for Jon is also a story of the unbreakable bond between a mother and child. Will we be reunited after death with those we love most? Looking for Jon is a beautiful lifting of the veil into the realm of impossible mysteries.

this was a commute read, and with life in slow down due to covid, it took a year of commutes to finish the book.

as a reader, it was flat, though it had potential and there were a couple of points where it might have taken off.

as an expression of grief i hope, dearly, that it served its purpose.
