there is a reason this is a classic. The language is a little hard to get used to, but agter you read for a bit, it is thouroughly enjoyable. The story is timeless and the characters live on after the book is read.

Jane Austen's thoughts on family life (Elizabeth's family)and conjugal living are way ahead of her time! The characters in her novel remind me of my own family.....
